This was actually mind-blowing because I never thought about using a saucer! I def struggled with short cuttings in the past and never thought to do this. You have SOOOO many cuttings now, kudos!
This was so much fun to watch. I just got a chinghungensis rooted in stratum. After seeing this, she's going in PON! I don't do a lot of hoyas in pon but seeing is believing.
I bought a Chinghungensis in August and its already sending out new shoots! I love its wild looking growing habit! 💚✨
Omg amazing!
I got my 15 cm single unrooted vine cutting today (may 6th 2024) and had the nerve to cut it into tiny little sections because of this. I did save the very tip of the cutting (maybe 3 cm) and I’m going to try root it as is. Fingers crossed! It’s a dreamy one, I’m so lucky to have got hold of it! We’ll see how it works for me. You make it seem easy, but I have my hopes up!
It's so cute! Love the wild growth you got from it!
Omg right I love them
Chinghungensis is on my wish list!
It’s a great plant 🌱 ☺️
The transformation those efforts you did haha we are the same plantitas
Awesome
Yaaass
🎵on the third day of vlogmas Kevin gave to me, Hoya chinghungensis x3 🎵
Hahaha yaass
Love the chipmunks singing and counting
Haha 😂
Hi Kevin. I just happened on this video and it was timely as I just received a chin cutting, today. It’s not very big and kinda scary to chop it up a bit, but I’ll give it a try. Thank you. Your videos are always so informative.
Hey amazing! I’m sure you can just pot it up as is. No need to propagate but it’s your preference 💚
I love your update videos, going to prop a small piece of my chinghungensis today! I only have one vine about 12-14" and want to start creating a pot full. Should I take a cutting and remove a few leaves so I can submerg a couple nodes for better chance of rooting?
Yes! I usually do this also.
My favorite thing now is seeing your Tribble mic 😍 forget the plants show me the Tribble mic 🤣🖖
Hahaha it’s here to stay. I should get different colours and switch it out every video 😂
@@kevin. 😱 that would make my day! Invasion of the Tribble mics 😍
Geez Kev! Thats fantastic! I have difficulty trying to prop my string of hearts and my micans... I just don't have the magic touch 😉🎄
Put your micans in moss in a closed container under a grow light. Worked like a charm. Probably better on a heat mat
Same with soh
Well I will try that for sure! Thanks very much!
Your plants are so beautiful 😊 I hope I get my hoya to grow like you!
💚💚
You just inspired or “ influenced “ me to buy one!!
Hoyapalace had it 40% off ♥️♥️
Oh amazing!
Great video! I tried laying strands of a Hoya Serpens cuttings on Pon to root but it’s taking so long to grow. Think I’ll just chop it up into single node cuttings like what you did here.
I’ve had great results chopping up my Serpens. That video will be up in a week ☺️
I will wait for that video to come out first then!
how do you know when to take out a hoya from a prop box and how much light do they all need or does it vary from hoya to hoya?
great idea 💡 👍
What is the name of the product you used instead of the soil?and can I use same steps for hoya bella?
Thank you so much
Safe
I have a cutting that i purchase but that brat grow a little and drop 10 leave
