    I was wondering if you don't have a smoker could you get a smokey flavor by adding a little liquid smoke to the mixture before cooking?

    Well, I can only imagine right now but, it sure looks like bologne. I generally don't like to try to find substitutes for meat either but, this might be worth trying. Thanks for posting.

      Ha ha ha, I guess I convinced you to make one. As we become a vegan vegetarian, we just need some substitute to make our favorite recipes without any animal product in it. I pray that you will enjoy this recipe. God bless you, Small Footprint.

    I noticed that you didn’t put water in the cookie sheet before baking . . . is this different than your “Turkey” and “beef” rolls?

      That was taped long time again at 3ABN. Then, I didn't think it was needed the water in the cookie sheet before baking, but sometimes, it came out little browner in the bottom without water, so you may add 2 cups of water to make the vegan Bologne more tender and juicy.
