I'd back you up on the statement but growing up with a clerical fascist who unironically thought corporatism is a good idea and that queers aren't bad as a mother and it is hard for me to actually follow it. I'm a practicing zen buddhist but also quite diehard into Marxist historical and economical analysis. Both are seen as extremes within the religious and political spectrum.
The more correct and complete statement would be: "Fight crazy with crazy" because outside of the US religion and politics are less intertwined. Much to the delight of people who care about basic human rights. Edit: Also fits because Maoists are absolutely crazy nutcases, ran into one IRL at a political meeting once and it was the loudest and most disruptive thing to ever happen at any of those meetings.
I love the idea of children screaming communist propaganda at fanatics. It’s just an amazing thought. Like the internet, but with more reality and less redditors.

I have met two Taiwanese teachers in the USA, one said Taiwan is China, the other said no. And the one who said no, was picked to come here by the US government.
