i took you guys through the steps of my shaving routine, but more specifically how i keep my skin smooth without ingrowns. usually i hibernate and grow my hair out in the winter so now that it is summer i'm shaving every inch of my body lol. i hope you guys enjoyed:)

I'm half caucasian and i have always felt insecure about having dark thick hair literally EVERYWHERE on my body including fingers and toes. And i've always been asked like "omg why do you have hair EVEN THERE?" dunno bro it just....grows here lol... This is exactly the method I've been doing for years. Simply it's easy and painless. And up until now I always thought that people were very offended by this and thought it was wrong like "How did you do that, don't do that way because if you do like this your hair will be thicker and longer etc. I am very happy to see this video. It feels like I am not alone.

I have a ton of hair everywhere as well (I’m a girl). I used to be insecure of all of it, especially my mustache and arm hair. But then I learned to embrace it. I still shave bc I personally love how it looks and it’s satisfying. But I also love that I’m really hairy bc it means I have thick hair on my head, thick eyebrows, and thick, long lashes. The only body hair that I’m really insecure about now is my back hair. I thought I was the only girl with that. This video helped SO much. Thank you!
I also learned to love my body hair bc I like how I can grow it out so if I’m stuck in the wild, it will keep me warm (kinda).

Yeah, people who appreciate the hairless look should definitely recognize the effort in shaving the entire body.
When I was 13 years old, I did not care about Shaving hair at all because I thought I was too young for that. When spring came, I wore a short dress and went to school in it. I was subjected to bullying from two girls who treated themselves as adults, and I was sad when I returned from school. At school, I cried and told my mother that I wanted to shave my body hair, and she agreed, and now I take care of myself a lot, but until now, I think that I should not cry and that no one should influence me by throwing negativity

I recently saw a video about how it’s easier and cuts less if you don’t pick up the razor so just go up and down with it, without lifting it up and it’s true!! It really works so much better

I stopped shaving 3 years ago, I too have so much thick body hair, when I shave the hair literally starts growing by the next day 😢 about three years ago I was fed up with this cycle and just decided to buy an at home IPL hair removal device from Amazon, that was truly the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life, the best part are the arm pits and down there, I never thought my skin in these areas could be soooo soft and clear and hairless for months, I do retouching every 6 months now. IPL hair removal is a seriously a blessing that I’ll be thankful for forever.

@@lizkavanagh the brand I use is called MLAY, there are more expensive brands but they all work the same. I’ve had it for about 3 years and it still has more than 200.000 pulses remaining. If you want to use it for the bikini area, I highly recommend using ice to numb the skin instead of numbing creams, I’ve used numbing creams for most of my 3 years journey with IPL, they don’t completely numb the skin, just a few months ago I tried ice and was shocked by how painless it made the procedure go to the point I thought the device didn’t work 😂. Just rub a cube of ice on a small area of skin for about 20 seconds then immediately dry the area and use the device, I keep a bowl of ice by my side to use it as I need until I’m done.
Does it hurt on the skin? I want to buy but idk if I need professional to do it or if I can manage to do it on own…lol
@@greeneyelightskin746 I wouldn’t say it’s painful but it stings as you increase the energy, start with low energy then work your way up, it’s totally worth it and you get used to the tingle, for the bikini area use an ice cube to numb the skin then dry then use the device, you’ll be amazed by the results within a few months if you do it consistently, I haven’t needed to shave anywhere in almost 8 months and I had thick black body hair. Hope this helps 🤗

I am Ukrainian, so my skin is pale, but my hair is dark. from about 10y old, the whole thing began to grow actively, and I was terribly shy of body hair (they also grow back with a regular razor the very next day), and I was especially terrified of facial hair 💔 only after +20 years I became calmer and stoped shaving every two days .... I use an epilator, but for the face I will take note for sure! thank you so much for paying attention to the topic that is so popular to be shamed and i really thought i was alone with problems like this 💔

I dont touch my legs for for three months from Oct. till Dec and then shave once for new years eve, and then i dont touch them again for three months until my birthday April, and then usually depending on the weather i start shaving regularly halfway June up until Sept. its very specific but i really like it this way and that first clean shave always feels so much more satisfying!

i’m naturally not very hairy and didn’t even get armpit hair until i was 16 but bc i have super sensitive skin the only thing that’s worked for me is sugar waxing, i can’t shave bc no matter what razors and creams i’ve tried i get super red, itchy, rashy skin and it burns for like 2 weeks after😭 i don’t bother with my legs at all bc i just don’t see the point, for me leg and arm hair is the same and since my hair is fair it isn’t noticeable, i was kinda insecure bc everyone always said they shaved their legs and i didn’t and i felt embarrassed but when talking about it to others they said they couldn’t tell i don’t shave or wax them which made me feel better, but if you don’t shave or wax at all that’s okay and not shaving or waxing should be normalised and no one should feel ashamed for letting their hair naturally grow, it’s literally natural and no one’s telling men to shave or wax their legs and armpits so why are people telling us! sorry i know this is such a long comment so thank you if you actually read this🤍

Hi it's good that she's also affirming body hair is normal and should be regarded as such at the same time helping to make shaving more quick and comfortable and efficient is not in contraddition because if one prefers shaving for any reason it's really better if it's completely painless almost and very easy. As she showed it's best if you don't overdo, rather than do everything at once, to start from the most visible hair at first, not obsessing on fine hair, as that gave her a scar on her hands and elbows only to shave a few fine hair very sorry for that.
And as wherever you start you may have to continue, it's much less work to only do hair which really bothers you (:.

The problem with me is even after I shave my legs. The hair is visible beneath the skin. Even though you can't feel it. My skin is pale and my hair is black and thick. Sigh. Waxing also causes ingrows cuz my hair is wavy. Lazer is probably the only way.
Hi, dw, I think some people's pores are just bigger and there's nothing wrong as that's just how we are made individually and it's a bit more visible when we are untanned.
Waxing helps a bit in reducing the pore though some people's are still visible but one can't see the really small hair dot but even that's barely visible.
In some cases exfoliating can help reduce them.

Like seriously, most people I know have so little hair, they don't understand how difficult it is to shave specially if you have sensitive skin, and I have PCOS so I have A LOT of hair everywhere, it even grows on my face as a pseudo beard that I wax off literally every three weeks. I've never shaved my arms bcs I always say "yeah i get laser" but it's so expensive, and the hair is the one thing that keeps me from tatting my arms the most.
Also I get razor burn everywhere, even on the top of my thighs and shins and it's just so annoying, my sking is so sensitive it's awful, which is why I never shave unless its summer, I just despise it.

I didn't know girls in Europe shave their arms until I met my husband who is German. We girls from Vietnam only shave the legs and armpits (some don't even shave the legs at all) so in the beginning my husband was like "ah uhm should u consider shaving ur arms?" But I don't want to do that. After a while he got used to it and now it doesn't bother him anymore. 😌

I totally felt represented for this video. I'm Latin girl too. I also have a lot hair body however I do depilation in some areas like armpit, genitalia and fluff but I don't do shaving, I do my depilation with depilatory wax because my skin is fragile to shaving. I scratch my skin very easily with it so I'm kind of allergic to shaving but I liked her video because I thought I was an awkward female being thus it's not much common to find girls who have a lot hair body. 😙🇧🇷🙃
