Just another tip for the "down there" hygiene. Is to change your panties often. Morning, during the day and obviously shower night time. The during the day is so important too because you don't want to stay over 8 hours with the same panties since you end up having a LOT of bacteria, vaginal discharge, humidity and some urine drops accumulations. Also, fragrance free laungry detergant really help to avoid to disturbe the PH which usually causes strong odor, itch and different type of minor infections.
for this i got so embarassed once at work i swear i could smell my downthere discharge across the meeting room - since then i started putting tissues in my panties. i change with toilet paper (folded nice and square) everytime i go to the restroom. now i can't do without this trick i think it's been more than 3 years i still change my panties every day, and no panties at night

I know we wanna smell good, but it would be wise for us to try to find non-toxic, as natural as possible, versions of these products that we love, bc over time all those synthetic fragrances in each of these products compounds in our bloodstream and can lead to huge health problems. Nothing to panic over just something to look out for and be mindful of. Even "natural" looking products can be misleading and full of fragrance, artificial colors, etc.
As a dentist i want to say please dont brush your gums! The gums clean themselves and brushing them can cause recessions. You have to brush till the very edge of the gums tho, to prevent inflammation
One of my gums are starting to receive but it’s only on certain teeth. I don’t really brush hard! I notice the very edge is clear and when I poke it it hurts! Any advice?
@@maamitaa I am not a dentist but I do get a cleaning every 6 months and always request fluoride to be put on my teeth (it's an extra charge like $40 that my insurance stops covering after a certain age). Flossing keeps the cavities away, too.
@@maamitaa hi, dentistry student here! Most of people don’t realize they brush too hard so it’s really hard to say if that is the cause in your case, but the brushing technique is also extremely important in preventing gum recession. Usually people use sharp, almost scrubbing-like technique where you just move the toothbrush up and down the teeth, but that is not the right technique for every surface - the only place you should do that are the occlusal surfaces of the back teeth. On the buccal and palatal surfaces the best technique is when you place the tooth brush at a 45 degree angle towards the gums and gently sweep the surfaces towards the occlusal surface/incisal edge of the teeth while moving the brush in circular motions. Don’t know if this explanation sounds clear, but you can look up ‘the roll method’ on the internet. Flossing is also a big thing because not doing so you miss about 30% of the tooth’s surfaces. It prevents gum bleeding and cavities between the teeth. And the reason it hurts when you’re poking your teeth in certain places is because the cervices of your teeth are exposed - there is no enamel in these areas so that’s why they’re tender to touch. Also, try using a brush with soft bristles, the ones with medium/hard bristles are more suitable for cleaning dentures - so you can imagine brushing the delicate exposed cervical surfaces with such tough bristles would cause hypersensitivity 😊 I hope that making these slight changes in your oral hygiene will help you solve your problems and if there is a dentist reading this please correct me if I said something wrong! I’m still learning and I’m also not from the US so maybe there are different methods there 😅 wish you all the best!
Oh my god, the way I smiled when you started talking about hyperhidrosis. I have the same thing and really love when people talk about it and normalise it. If you feel comfortable I would love to hear your story and any treatments you’ve been through!
i also suffer from excessive sweating on my hands and feet so I recently started using perspirex’s hand and foot lotion! Before trying the lotion, I’d seen reviews where people were complaining about excessive irritation and itching so I was really scared but luckily for me it hasn’t been that bad, like I’m not bothered at all. My hands and feet have stopped sweating and I feel so much better! My hands start peeling when I apply the lotion too much but other than that I’m really satisfied with the product!
11:36 - Instead of using plastic loofahs that break and get mouldy, purchase a Luffa cylindrica. These are natural loofah plants that don't get mouldy or break and work just as well.
I skipped to 9:45 because I wanted to hear your hot take and I'm happy to hear that it's a safe and really good one! My only little comment to viewers would be if you're using deo on your intimate parts, don't use the same deo on your armpits or anything since you could move bacteria from your armpits to down there (unless of course you wash your hands before and after using the cream on different spots, which then it's fine). Thank you Alessya for your detailed hygiene video! This is the first video I've seen of yours and I'm impressed! I wish all the best to you in your life and career!
also, sorry for double commenting, but using a loofa is actually really bad for you!! loofahs have been show to grow staph or strep bacteria, but they can become harbors for other bacteria on your body, including e coli!! alternatives are silicone bath scrubbers or sea sponges 💗
I would recommend a African sponge net instead of a loofah because loofahs hold bacteria. The African sponge net will still exfoliate but won’t trap bacteria!
Girl I also deal with hiperhidrosis and its a nightmare but knowing that amazing girls like you have also dealt with it comforts me in a way and i dont feel so alone🫶🏼
@@angellsqofficial Im so sorry about that but ive realised that at the end of the day its not something we can control and even if its hard its always best to just love our selves for who we are and be grateful that its not a severe health issue (and if you think about it sweating removes toxins so it actually cleans your body🫢🤔)even though it can be quite damiging and emotionaly draining sometimes😭
I was told I had an hormonal imbalance for as long as I can remember but I was never told how to control it and because of this I kept being told by my teachers to ''shower more frequently for everybody's well being'' because my sweat has a really strong smell Just saying this for anyone who might relate to this so you don't feel guilty 💖
I am dentist and it is not true that an electric toothbrush is better than a "normal" one. What you need is a good technique. And don't fight with me - fith with publocation about it 😂😂

My dentist tells me to brush my gums.. 😅
Oh my god, the way I smiled when you started talking about hyperhidrosis. I have the same thing and really love when people talk about it and normalise it. If you feel comfortable I would love to hear your story and any treatments you’ve been through!
I loveee this vid, a little tip for the deodorant part.. The dove vitamin care deodorant works SO GOOD and its aluminum free
i also suffer from excessive sweating on my hands and feet so I recently started using perspirex’s hand and foot lotion! Before trying the lotion, I’d seen reviews where people were complaining about excessive irritation and itching so I was really scared but luckily for me it hasn’t been that bad, like I’m not bothered at all. My hands and feet have stopped sweating and I feel so much better! My hands start peeling when I apply the lotion too much but other than that I’m really satisfied with the product!
was legit waiting for new video to drop perfect timing 🤩❤️
11:36 - Instead of using plastic loofahs that break and get mouldy, purchase a Luffa cylindrica. These are natural loofah plants that don't get mouldy or break and work just as well.
alessya thank u for blessing us with this you queen 🫶🏻
Alessya has been my girl since 2022 i love you sm
Yasssss the queen posted 😭🧎♀️
ALESSYA WE NEED ANOTHER VIDEO 🙏🧎♀️🧎♀️
I would recommend a African sponge net instead of a loofah because loofahs hold bacteria. The African sponge net will still exfoliate but won’t trap bacteria!
theres no problem if you disenfect your loofah
@@_VR_8 great to know :)
3:25 i was watching this after binge eating popcorn, several packages of fun dip, and chocolate 😅
Girl I also deal with hiperhidrosis and its a nightmare but knowing that amazing girls like you have also dealt with it comforts me in a way and i dont feel so alone🫶🏼
sameee
whenever i get a new shirt or something and i try it on it immediately gets ruined by my sweat😭
You're so real, girl- You got a new follower❤
I was told I had an hormonal imbalance for as long as I can remember but I was never told how to control it and because of this I kept being told by my teachers to ''shower more frequently for everybody's well being'' because my sweat has a really strong smell
Just saying this for anyone who might relate to this so you don't feel guilty 💖
