    I suffer with alot of depression. And I know this might not work for everyone, but hygiene is very important to me.. so making myself shower and brush my teeth daily was 1 thing that made me feel that tiny bit better. Buying new shower gels in smells i love and made me feel good really helped. I love fruity uplifting smells. Washing my hair is a different story. But one step at a time 💖

    I am genuinely tearing up watching this - thank you, with every part of my heart, for making this video. I had a traumatic childhood where I really wasn’t taught these things and it’s been so difficult to try to navigate this in adulthood between depression, chronic illness, and just literally having no idea what normal personal hygiene looks like for a healthy person. I am so grateful that there are videos like this that make the information so simple and accessible, and I’m very thankful I found your channel. Have a beautiful day!

    I love that you also mentioned to not shame someone for their hygiene and to not be hard on yourself and take it a little at a time. It’s so important to focus on small wins when it comes to things like depression and so many people don’t realize that if they don’t have it. I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve seen someone online mention they finally did something after so long because they were struggling and the comments were filled with ‘ew gross’. Definitely not helping. And it makes me feel more and more ‘prioritizing self care’ and ‘mental health awareness’ is only valid to these people if it’s an aesthetic. ‘Mental health matters’ until you see the ugly side of it 😒. Regardless I’m happy to see more people talking about it and focusing on small wins and not shaming others so i thank you for this video and that message too! Also don’t worry about the time in between videos. Prioritize yourself too!!

    Just another tip for the "down there" hygiene. Is to change your panties often. Morning, during the day and obviously shower night time. The during the day is so important too because you don't want to stay over 8 hours with the same panties since you end up having a LOT of bacteria, vaginal discharge, humidity and some urine drops accumulations. Also, fragrance free laungry detergant really help to avoid to disturbe the PH which usually causes strong odor, itch and different type of minor infections.

    Also this is the first time I’ve watched her videos, and I can’t believe how pretty, smart, funny, but also empathetic she is. I’ve also gone through depression where I had dandruff falling off of my hair every breath I took because of stress, and the last note she added in the end of the video would have made me cry if I saw this video while I was still depressed. I love how she doesn’t just straight up shit people for being dirty like some other influencers and is so considerate of other’s people conditions. Loved this!!

    it makes me really happy that someone finally said that we dont grow up with those informations so in our childhood we smell bad and everyone bully us bc you knoe you will be a woman, i remember that someone around me was always saying me you smell so bad but i was in my starting to teenage times and i wasnt know anything and always feeling like why i am like that and hating myself a lot. We dont born with those informations so it really makes me happy that you aid it girl, now it has been years to these moments and i learned how to take care with my hygiene just by myself, they dont give any tips they just bully you, so if you feel the same that i felt a long ago dont be sad ever and never again just start to learn how to take care of your hygiene girlll

    I skipped to 9:45 because I wanted to hear your hot take and I'm happy to hear that it's a safe and really good one! My only little comment to viewers would be if you're using deo on your intimate parts, don't use the same deo on your armpits or anything since you could move bacteria from your armpits to down there (unless of course you wash your hands before and after using the cream on different spots, which then it's fine). Thank you Alessya for your detailed hygiene video! This is the first video I've seen of yours and I'm impressed! I wish all the best to you in your life and career!

I learned so many new things in this video, some things I just learned to reason for, and there’s so many things I want to try now. I love your positive and supportive attitude, everything you said about shaving and our hoohaa’s I was like that’s my girl right there! Just wanted to clarify that the appocrine glands, which are the glands responsible of the odor of our sweat are actually directly connected to hair follicules and that's how they assure their secretions. The less follicules, the less the apocrine glands can secrete their odor particules. So shaving but particularly waxing would be your best friend to eliminate odors and not let them stick to your hairs for long.

They should have something that suits your price point and works 1000x better due to the quality and potency of the active ingredients (licensed esthetician) -and don’t mind my name lol. Only thing id add for whoever this could help, is to be mindful of how many fragranced products you're adding in your routine. Fragrance, among other toxic ingredients are huge hormone disruptors. I know we wanna smell good, but it would be wise for us to try to find non-toxic, as natural as possible, versions of these products that we love, bc over time all those synthetic fragrances in each of these products compounds in our bloodstream and can lead to huge health problems. Nothing to panic over just something to look out for and be mindful of. Even "natural" looking products can be misleading and full of fragrance, artificial colors, etc.

      @@maamitaa I am not a dentist but I do get a cleaning every 6 months and always request fluoride to be put on my teeth (it's an extra charge like $40 that my insurance stops covering after a certain age). Flossing keeps the cavities away, too.

    • @marysia844
      @marysia844 6 місяців тому

      @@maamitaa hi, dentistry student here! Most of people don’t realize they brush too hard so it’s really hard to say if that is the cause in your case, but the brushing technique is also extremely important in preventing gum recession. Usually people use sharp, almost scrubbing-like technique where you just move the toothbrush up and down the teeth, but that is not the right technique for every surface - the only place you should do that are the occlusal surfaces of the back teeth. On the buccal and palatal surfaces the best technique is when you place the tooth brush at a 45 degree angle towards the gums and gently sweep the surfaces towards the occlusal surface/incisal edge of the teeth while moving the brush in circular motions. Don’t know if this explanation sounds clear, but you can look up ‘the roll method’ on the internet. Flossing is also a big thing because not doing so you miss about 30% of the tooth’s surfaces. It prevents gum bleeding and cavities between the teeth. And the reason it hurts when you’re poking your teeth in certain places is because the cervices of your teeth are exposed - there is no enamel in these areas so that’s why they’re tender to touch. Also, try using a brush with soft bristles, the ones with medium/hard bristles are more suitable for cleaning dentures - so you can imagine brushing the delicate exposed cervical surfaces with such tough bristles would cause hypersensitivity 😊 I hope that making these slight changes in your oral hygiene will help you solve your problems and if there is a dentist reading this please correct me if I said something wrong! I’m still learning and I’m also not from the US so maybe there are different methods there 😅 wish you all the best!
