It's a feeling of flying. I run and, although enjoyable, I had to sometimes push myself to get out there. I just turned 40 and remembered that when I was 20-something I would rollerblade not for exercise but because I loved the experience. This video captures how I felt then and now 20 years later how I still feel. It's too bad I gave it up for so long because it wasn't "in".
I'm forty, never learned properly when I was a kid, due to a fall. Now I'm back to quad and inline. I know I'm too old for this, but it helps me to feel free.
I have a lot of emotion provoked inside to be able to express in words. Teared me up. The way you all were just enjoying. I just got back into skating recently after years of losing touch physically. It was always there on my mind. But the BIGGEST credit to the camera person who is the reason this video came out like this. So smooth, going with every single one of you throughout the city. Whoever they are - heart out and shoutout to them. And the ‘Namaste’ at the end was an interesting bit! Why do you guys have that? Just curious :D
Namaste literally means "bowing to you". In Hinduism, it also has a spiritual importance reflecting the belief that "the divine and self (atma, soul) is same in you and me", and connotes "I bow to the divine in you".

Never skated standard inlines, but I skate aggressive inlines and my skateboard is at least 50% of my life. I think you captured the chilled spirit of skating really well. Skating home at 2am from a skate spot can sometimes be the best part.
There is nothing more contagious than seeing people having fun, love it! I lived in Canada two years and loved the people, the places visited..you Canadians ROCK!. A big hug from a Spaniard currently living in China, take care and be safe guys, cheers.

What I find most cool is the fact that the camera guy is evidently on roller skates, and jumping the stairs with these guys, yet he is able to keep the camera so steady. It makes for a pleasant viewing experience, compared to the dizzying rocking of a camera. :)
Do you skate at like 5am on a Sunday because there are no cars or people . How would you skate this fast with quick blind turns in normal circumstances? Do you guys only skate in urban environments when it’s so early like this? I’m asking because where I live it is so crowded & sure I would crash & burn. How do you deal with cars & people, or do you avoid it ?
I wouldn't think that those are blind turns. In my own experience, I do: always try to make cars and pedestrians aware that there is a skater around; keep a safe distance as much as I could, avoid such like suddenly overtaking; maintain the speed which I can control.
Am pretty sure they have a look out to warn the driver or pedestrian that theres a skater. Or the other way around there's probably someone who tells the skater that is clear to go.... Thats the way me and my friends do it

This video is so good at conveying freedom, joy and happiness, the shots, the music, the skaters, so simple, and yet so well put together. fantastic !!
OMG that was so awesome ( Camera Dude - excellent ), it brought me back to early 2000 in Vancouver when we ruled/rolled the streets. Thanks for the memories!
A relay-style video that runs freely together seems to be realized by the free running of happiness, not other things. This video really brings tears of happiness. I also did fsk free skating and slalom, but I regret that I didn't run more and run freely with great skill like the jewellery. It's been a long time since I saw the video without realizing it, and tears came out. I think freedom is the choice you and I make. Ah, I wanted to run mad because of the clangs in my ego, but when I saw your free running video, I felt like I was in a fit of anger. Thank you for running with me and really freely. Thank you very much~!!!

You must have started rollerblading since childhood. I am starting to learn ... tough but even with my beginner level, I love it! Great video!
I really feel like yall know how to enjoy your selves
how does the camera man just float over the stairs lmao 2:15, I'm assuming the gimbal is that good?
Sueveic
😣
Yes how,???
he’s in creative mode
Is not really a human filing but a floating sheep
Because the camera man are using that something float and fly to record..
Come on,, its drone.. 😥

I love to rollerblade around town, and do the stuff they do!
This is such a great video. It has such a wonderful spirit in it! I want to put skates on right now, but it is 100 F outside... :-(
Arina Thomsen same
this video made me so so happy, it's very thouching how you skate and laugh with your friends. I think there's nothing I want more in my life than to learn urban inline skate
Thank you Gabriela. I hope you have the opportunity learn urban skating. I bet you would be great at it.

I know that I'm new but please do more vids like these because they're super inspirational and I am planning on joining the rollerblade community so this was a major motivation for me. Continue to blade for joy :)
You guys are the reason I bought rollerblades
I litterly have trouble breaking on my roller blades and these dudes are out here doing all these cool tricks
Props to y'all
AubreyPlays1 don’t learn to break, learn to spin to a stop by pointing one blade outward. It’ll help in the long run and you’ll look dope doing it!
I’m so used to people doing this kinda of stuff with longboards or skateboards
They look like they're having so much fun.... skating like this with a couple of friends is all I want ...
That video makes me start learning skating, thank u guys, that mood in the video was so cool, lifting and inspiring
It is my pleasure. Thank you for watching. I hope you start skating and keep me posted with your progress.

When you choose to be a skater on cool maths run
This video helped me get out of a bad place and pick up a pair of skates again. 5 months back on them and I'm the happiest in been in years
There's an awesome cameraman right there, that's a marvelous work all of you guys.
definitely rolled through some puke at 2:10
+P G Didn’t notice that until now.
either way, awesome vid, especially the bridge into the city!
P G pretty sure it was a drink lol
I broke my hand while skating these kind of skates after that I am soooo afraid to wear them outside
Its okay, try skating slowly again when you feel safe
I broke my hand skateboard then a year after I stopped I broke my toe going down the stairs then I realized you can hurt ur self doing anything so F it
Just take it easy and ease back into it. I know you can do it dude!
Cool am skater love ❤️ u skaters 💋🔥💐❤️
Just got my skates today, most places are closed so I thought it would be a fun thing to learn. Lovely video :)
It's years later and this video still hits 😭 I'm so inspired by the skating here!
Can we play on corona time? 😭😢
Who still watch this year pls like..
Dude it's the best time to skate, there's no one on the roads!
*the 1990's would like to know your location*
Sehr entspannend, man fühlt sich in seine Jugend zurückversetzt, schön dass Rollerskater noch gibt! :-)
Respect that the camera man was doing all this and didn’t get seen I’m sure he is great
Sometimes being happy is as simple as doing something you love
Loved how everyone has their own style. One tense to jump, one usually aggressive, one smooth and the cameraman loves skate backward whenever on screen.
