Ok well explained now I understand what I needed good video so I say thanks dude for the 45min online free class I one day Want to be able to explain a class like how confident u sounded on my type of hobby respect man I hear you and I'm a 29 year old young man from Texas state city of Mount Pleasant Tx at 2am in the morning good class and perfect time I say ...
I love these webinars. There's so much valuable information here. I wish I could attend the class at the Long Beach show in Feb, but I can't make the trip out to California.I'd pay to do an online type class if one was offered.
I found a Sacajawea 2000 p wounded eagle in pocket change on Christmas Eve , should I grade it or no , it is nice but shows that I just found it in change ?!
I have a Seated Liberty half (1853-O A&R) that is in amazing condition, with toning. It has a strike that shows almost zero wear, but under a loupe, I can see very fine hairlines. What will those hairlines likely do to the grade, if the coin is great in every other way? Would it be dropped into AU status due to this?
"When the bottom set of lines across the Liberty Bell is complete and uninterrupted, a regular-strike Mint State 60 or above Franklin Half Dollar receives the designation Full Bell Lines (FBL)."
Thank you for clarifying the color designations. I thought RD was a really 'red' color. From your description, it's just the original luster of a copper coin. Is that right?
I HAVE A 2021 KENNEDY D GRADED MS65 THEN I HAVE A 1968 S KENNEDY GRADED PR69 NOW I NEED VVTO KNOW IF THESE ARE WORTH ANYTHING.ALSO I HAVE2020 D AND 2020 P NEVER RELEASED FOR CIRCULATION
What drives me nuts is when a particular modern bullion coin is returning 80% with grades PF70 and I get 3 back all graded PF69. Personally I blame the lady at the coin show who has just tossing them around, popping them out of the mint capsules like she was short on time. Seemed like her handling was very ruff.
I live in South Africa and would like to sell my vintage coins. I have a good number of collectables. Am new to this but learning from yr channel ive subscribed to. Id like to join yr website to have my coins graded but dont have an iphobe for good pics. Thank u fr the info.
My question is simple, why are the coins graded by some companies worth more than those graded by others? Are you telling me coin grading companies grade by different standards? No common regulations, or standards? I'm not the only one looking for an explanation. It seems to be a factor that makes collectors hesitant, especially when trying to guess a grade, during purchase. The value can be greatly effected by the coins grade.
This is one that AI will be acceptable to sort of mitigate among the industry ...not that I am fan of this artificial intelligence push ...but in here microscopic detail ...hmm?
REALLY VERY INFORMATIVE SIR, HOPING TO LEARN FROM YOUR PROGRAM SINCE WE HOLD SEVERAL OLD USA COINS LIKE 1865 ANDREW JOHNSON, 1977 LIBERTY EISENHOWER, 1983 HALF DOLLARALSO 1979 LIBERTY. CAN YOU HELP US SIR? THANK YOU
I wish US grading companies understood that british hammered coins may look worn but can in fact can be poorly struck due to the hand hamering process used back then
In buying 20th century proof dimes to half dollars, I see so much haze around the person or whatever its called, sometimes like a cloud of tiny flow lines of the silver toward the center. I have had to look through hundreds to find the needles in the haystack & sometimes I have to accept SOME tiny speck size flow line haze; QUITE FRUSTRATING!!!
