Wow, a UA-camr who can actually grade coins. This is refreshing. Also I think the term "monster toner" really ought to be reserved for the nicest of the nice. If we call everything with good colour a "monster" it kinda devalues the use of it. That last one was absolutely a MONSTER. Total blazer on the obverse side, no white, deep rich neon with a true rainbow spectrum. This video did not disappoint. I'm with CAD Roll Hunter here. You got another sub.
I really appreciate the kind words. I have been trying to develop my grading skills because of how important it is in the high end coin world. I TOTALLY agree with you about not abusing the term MONSTER toning. I essentially used it to pull in more people to hopefully see this video. 🙂 The last quarter is definitely an absolutely beautiful art piece.
@@PremiumRareCoins Yeah, very well done. You had lots of beauties here. That last one was the cherry on top. And being able to call higher grades like that so consistently isn't something you see often. Although I do hate the holders for toned coins. The reflections kinda ruin it. I like seeing the coin in open air. I just use the custom fit round capsules to house the best ones in. I can always holder them later when I want to sell, when grading gets more perfected and cheaper. For now I like mine raw. I store some of them in their original environment to tone up longer. Like I have some in original 3rd party set holders made of gel and cardboard. I have a PO-1 dollar that's perfectly slick. It was a magicians coin, never dropped or scratched. Got that one sitting on a rabbit pelt.... get it? Magician and the rabbit. 🐇 🎩 hehehe. It's a George V silver dollar, 1936 very simmilar to the one in my pfp. They cure the pelt with a sulfur compound, so 50 years of off gassing should tone it up nicely in some way.
@@TheWinstonDouble Thank you! I’ve definitely been getting better at grading as I see more and more coins on a daily basis. I used to keep a lot of my coins raw, but I’ve learned over the years that you will get a lot more for your coins when you decide to sell when they’re graded rather than RAW. In the high end toner world, it’s hard to convince someone to buy a raw MONSTER toner. People like the safety of knowing the coin’s color is original and not tampered with in any way. It’s cool because I have video and photographic evidence of where these toned coins came from and were stored in their original rolls. I love low ball coins so that’s super cool!
Thank you very much! Definitely is a neat little group. That last Washington is my favorite of the bunch. It displays some of the best color and eye appeal I’ve ever seen on a coin. Definitely one to remember!

Constructive feedback, next time don't keep circling the coin for you spot light behind you to hit the coin the way it does you can't see any details and just take away from looking at the coin.
I appreciate the constructive criticism, however I don’t use any additional light or lighting to enhance the look of these coins. The light you are referring to is your normal everyday sealing light bulb. I like to use the light in a circular pattern like most UA-camrs to display the coins wonderful colors and luster. If I did not use the light, the colors would appear much darker and have a lot less pop in the video. I may experiment with a different angle next time I film. It's ag because there is no full rim left on the coin. You have more detail than normal, likely because of the bend in the coin. Very nice coin though. Great video
You’re 100% correct. I was unsure of how they were going to call a coin like that. I totally understand why it got that grade. The fact that it has both Fine and AG detail on one coin is definitely unique!
Weird, I would have thought that a wheel mark would be worth more, like a mint error, or a bonus factor for catching a part of minting that wasn’t supposed to be there

How much did it cost for you to get these coins graded? Based I the grades you received did you get your money’s worth? Asking as I have some coins I’m thinking about getting graded but I’m hesitant about spending the money and losing. 😅
I spent a little over $300.00 to get all of these coins graded. The coins pretty much all came back the way I wanted so it was definitely worth it. Price guides price out all of these coins down low on a retail stand point. What makes all of these coins valuable is the rare and vibrant colors on them (especially the quarters).
That 1929 Wheat...beautiful! That gold color is wonderful. That is part of the problem of the TPGraders...they give no value to eye appeal (but for the "+" or "star"). Your argument and concerns make a lot of sense. Coin eye appeal really doesn’t play as much of a part in grading as people may think. Usually you can get a + or even a whole grade bump if color is REALLY nice. It’s hard to pull it off though.

The 1795 half dime is the only one I actually called. You have to look at the rim on stuff like that. When it's worn slick into the coin in multiple areas, it's AG or lower. For a good or better you need a full rim pretty much. Great detail though for an AG. The bend somewhat helped it oddly enough.
Thank you both for playing along with my guess the grade. I definitely found it fascinating just how much detail was persevered due to the uneven fields to the coin as a result of the bend.
The Accugrade Holder has no ears, providing a clear view of all aspects of the coin and eliminating any blind spots....vs..Coin Holder with 3 Large Ears or 4 Ears Fatty Holder of NGC...

(5:00) of u look threw PCGS images, I'll see plenty of Lincoln coins thst say "RED" & have less red than urs does... mostly due to Lincoln... hardly any obvious detail for hair & face... a lil' from his body & the reverse lft upper wheat stock to rim has been scrapped... Idk... u really shoulda took "good images" of ue coins before u submitted... Some workers for PCGS have stolen higher quality coins & replaced them with lower quality coins... To the point they will even give the replacement coin the same visual markers as the original submitted coin... My friends cousin has proof & between all of us, we know 4 other people its happened to... From PCGS submissions...
I don’t sell coins on UA-cam. I sell them through Instagram and that is linked in the description below the title of the video. You can message me directly on there with any coins you’re interested in.
Be careful with the 54 s being the best quarter out there you have to remember there were a lot mint sets plus rolls so there are tons of toned quarters out there also remember this also you said if this coin didn’t have these hits it would be a ms68 well first is that not the issue with all coins they have marks and you know what they say about IFs and that is IF your aunt had balls she would be your uncle and why I say that about toned coins is because people hoard those I thought I had some nice buffalo nickels toned until a guy bursted my bubble with breath taking toner I tried to buy and I was in shock and it was graded also so no AT
I’m not sure what this comment means overall, but I mean you can go look at all the photos of the 54s quarters on PCGS.com. Also you can scroll through auction records on Heritage/Great Collections/eBay and see this is the best out of all of them. Toning is subjective, but I have a decent eye for good color.
I couldnt watch the whole video. The huge delays between pulling the coins out of the box and actually showing the grade made the clip very agonizing to watch. Just pull them out. Keeping them covered for 5-6 minutes each with the end of an envelope is not going to change the grade. A 25 minute video that should have been 8-10 minutes (and that would be a stretch.)
Your lighting was terribly distractive, it was not enjoyable because you could not see any of the details of the coin, at first glace i couldn't even tell what the coin was.
I second this sentiment. First time watching and the fast movement combined with the round light made it very unpleasant. I did like the actual content
I’m guessing you don’t know how big the toning market is? I was offered almost $600 for one of those quarters so far. Toning is a thing you can’t price out with a price guide or greysheet.
Good video, but you need to do something about the lighting as often the coins are barely visible in the bright reflections off the slabs.
Thank you, I’m honestly ok with how the lighting turned out on the video. I may try dimming the lighting slightly next time. W/O the light, the coins would be much more dull with little to no color shining through.

mostly due to Lincoln... hardly any obvious detail for hair & face... a lil' from his body & the reverse lft upper wheat stock to rim has been scrapped...
Idk... u really shoulda took "good images" of ue coins before u submitted...
Some workers for PCGS have stolen higher quality coins & replaced them with lower quality coins...
To the point they will even give the replacement coin the same visual markers as the original submitted coin...
My friends cousin has proof & between all of us, we know 4 other people its happened to...
From PCGS submissions...
@@unknown-rx6qj Thanks for the warning and information brother. I’ve heard similar stories in the past.
👏 👏 👏
I appreciate it!
How do you sell coins on here
I don’t sell coins on UA-cam. I sell them through Instagram and that is linked in the description below the title of the video. You can message me directly on there with any coins you’re interested in.
Nice coins!
I appreciate it! Glad you like them as much as I do!
I'm sorry TikTok has fried your brain.
Come on they give you the grades when they finish grading them. You knew all the grades when you did this video 😂
@@SDmaintenance That’s true, they email you your results, that doesn’t mean I looked through a read the email?
Well done.
@@liquidelectrum Thank you!
Your lighting was terribly distractive, it was not enjoyable because you could not see any of the details of the coin, at first glace i couldn't even tell what the coin was.
Thanks for watching, and for the comment.
Did 🚫 t enjoy the light
I second this sentiment. First time watching and the fast movement combined with the round light made it very unpleasant. I did like the actual content
This sucks.
Jeez give the man a break.
I got a grey box
Sweet, they definitely haven’t been handing them out all too often lately.
Nice WoW 😮😳
@@coloradocoinhunter6475 Thank you!!!
Congratulations! You paid more for the grading than the coins are worth. Well done!
I’m guessing you don’t know how big the toning market is? I was offered almost $600 for one of those quarters so far. Toning is a thing you can’t price out with a price guide or greysheet.
Not with that color. Not in today's market.
And you just spent your valuable time being rude...huh....how silly is that?
@@Camille_Lee_Æon Well said. 🙂
Poor lighting get a ring light for future.
Sorry i dont pay for color
@@G-BONE Not a problem, not everyone does!
Please move your overhead light. Very annoying.
The light helps show any and all colors on the coin. No light, no luster or proper presentation of color.
Who would pay pcgs to grade dimes pennies and quarters not me
Me, the guy who sold them for profits, and had fun doing so. 😎 Thanks for watching!
Man buy some LED LIGHTS FOR THE VIDEOS, YOU WILL NOT GET THE GLARE …
