Love the pattern cent Personally I don’t get why wheel marks are considered damage. Every time I see a coin in a details, wheel mark holder it’s a really nice unc or au coin and you always have to go on a wild goose chase to even find it. If it’s so minor that it’s hard to even find I just don’t think it should make it a details count. Just knock it one grade point like any other kind of minor scratch or hairline

I'm blown away that the 1858 pattern isn't worth 10x what you described. What an amazing piece of history!
Patterns are very much a niche collectible. Great of example where even with tiny supply the demand isn’t there to drive the price
Great collection! Thanks for sharing the results.

I agree
The wheel mark is from a coin counting machine most of the time never ever heard of it coming from coin roll paper
I’ve heard of both but I suspect the machine is likely the culprit
very nice video nice share
👍🏼
patterns can be very hard to price
Totally agree.
Wheel mark is from counting machine then they put them in bags of 1000
Yup. Great call out

Hmmm thousands out of millions 🤔
@@TheCollectorOfCoins hundreds of thousands go look at pop reports from ngc & pcgs& ICG& cac see how many out there
I feel your pattern coin is overpriced.
