Same way as everyone else, money.
Annapurna makes movies as well
Through agencies and a nice script, actors like then are known on the indie movie scene for taking low wages or non just to help an writer tell a story
Love The Shining’s carpet usage in this.

The reference to The Shining with the hallway carpet makes sense as a reference that they are looped into coming back to life in the same damn room every twelve minutes, just like Jack was "always" the caretaker.

I'm oddly more intrigued by the fact that it seems like there are so many other people that didn't like some specific things complimented here, specifically the ending. Seems like a very polarizing game

The escapist Post ZP stream shows the descent to madness from not knowing anything to the true ending. It is worth the watch if you don't plan on playing the game (They finish the game in 2 hrs).
Man Defoe's voice is legendary, he is perfect for the role of joker; such a underutilized voice

Finished the game yesterday, the first hour was fun and interesting but then it soon became INCREDIBLY tedious and repetitive. Great performances from the cast but the story and gameplay ranges from mediocre to just plain bad. 5/10 personally.
Let me guess... you enjoy Fifa and COD
Only becomes really tedious and repetitive if you’re doing the same thing over and over again and not branching out your attempts/options

if you don't fast forward through the repetitive dialogue. if you do fast forward it has 23 minutes of gameplay.
