5:55 oh yeah, we have an ABUNDANCE of amazing movies and games that we can enjoy as long as needed at home. None of it is necessary. Nobody needs Hollywood. They act like the general public is required to go see a movie every weekend. I grew up doing that, but I think I’ve been to the theater twice in the last year, and I don’t miss it.
100% agreed. I belive even outside the US most people would rather ignore US politics anyways. Sadly, some decisions being made there are going to have long term consequences for the rest of the world, so ignoring it is more or less impossible.
I don't like Trump, but I hate celebrity endorsements. I would much rather that a person takes the time to read up on the candidate's purposed policies instead of mindlessly following whatever some celebrity tells them. If you voted for Trump based on what he plans to do with the economy, or government spending, than I might not agree but I can respect it. If you voted for Trump or Harris because your favorite celebrity likes then, and know nothing else than I simply have no respect for you.
They are at the best of times just an opinion. These recent endorsements are the worst though because they got massive paychecks for them, and they only weighed in in the last few days/weeks of the election for most of them. Sorry but that just makes their words even more worthless than "just an opinion". Now they are just a TV commercial bought and paid for.
curious why you dont agree with what trump will do to th economy (fix it) and gov spending (reduce it) ? i just dont get why you'd disagree with that unless you like slipping further into debt and i cant vote because i dont live in the US, but anyone that can stabilize the economy is a positive since it does affect us that live outside the US too. Perhaps rethink where you get your info from lol
Whenever I hear a "celebrity" making a political speech, I just think back to Ricky Gervais speech at the golden globes, clearly they did not take him seriously
I don't have a problem with Hollywood types expressing their opinions....but, they should realize there are consequences to doing so. Especially when they have no clue what they're actually talking about....which is most of the time.
I walked out of my home yesterday morning, and some random guy across the street starting calling me names, trying to start a fight. I was like wtf? I had the same exact thing happen last month, a female that time tho. I ended up having to call the police, she wouldn’t stop harassing me. Honestly, the world is def filled with hate, and narcissists, and other loony toon escapades.
Where the fuck are the studios? They need to be monitoring the social media accounts for actors they hire and say "Look, while we're trying to sell a movie, just shut up about politics. Better yet, say nothing we haven't told you to say." This needs to be in their contracts.
What's amusing to me is how incredibly feminine the DNC's approach to elections is. There's no attempt to persuade, no attempt to address real issues and concerns that the voters have, and no attempt to be fair and equitable in their assessments. It's purely the kind of cliqueish popularity behavior you observe in teenage girls."Vote for her because all the popular kids like her."
Fair criticism all around. The only thing I would say is that actors being involved in politics has been around for over 70 years. They've represented both democrats and republicans. Folks like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kal Penn, Al Franken, Fred Thompson, and Sonny Bono. Heck even 2 of our presidents were actors before they won the White House. Trump acted for years in a reality show and had cameos in movies/TV. The godfather of modern day republicans, Ronald Reagan was an actor for years before becoming the governor of California in 1966. Did you think that their "Hollywood" status hurt them in getting elected? Of course not. While we may not like what the actors of today are saying, but people tend to listen to what the "rich and famous" have to say whether they should or not.
The other night, my wife said, on watching your review on Snow White, that Rachel Zegler looks like Lord Farquaad, that little dude prince in Shriek. You can’t unsee that now. LOL
Dude, Luke Skywalker deserves to ask 500 dls for his autograph.... Politics aside, Mark Hamill has earned the right to do so. If I had the money I gladly would pay that amount. BTW... Are you American?
My dad thinks trump is a dumbass but he said kamala lost because democrats are way too out of touch, stopped being the champions of the working class, and are instead the party of celebrities. He got annoyed watching an interview with Kamala’s campaign manger boasting about these celebrity endorsements and he said ppl may like Taylor swifts music or the avengers movies but they couldn’t care less about how they think since are too rich to relate to normal people. My dad lives under a rock and doesn’t know much about the controversies celebrities get themselves into and how ppl like Rachel Zegler behave on social media so he’d probably double down on his take if he kept up with Hollywood. A lot of these celebs have done black face, used slurs, have defended pdfiles, have committed SA or the r word, selectively mock or demonize people, are associated with Epstein, Weinstein, Polanski, and diddy, call for higher taxes while being paid millions, defend the CCP and profit off of genocide, celebrate harm against normal Americans, and demand that the middle class make sacrifices for the environment while they ride around on private jets and shill crypto yet they’re the ones shaming other people and telling them that they’re what’s wrong with society.
Even if he knew of the controversies, and not doing so doesn't mean he's living under a rock, he would absolutely double down on Trump being a dumbarse if he bothered to do 5 minutes of research on Project 2025. If I were you, I'd start there, so you can understand that, no matter how out of touch the Democrats are, the MAGA party is so much worse.
@@Hexor-Tyr If you do 5 minutes of research on Project 2025, you'll know it isn't his. Stop getting your political information from Twitter. And how are authoritarian regimes, forced indoctrination in extremist leftist politics, bankruptcy from a flood of illegals and waves of violent crime somehow better than what SOME people in MAGA are plotting?
Your dad is right. They do not like or care about the poor and the working class now - they are now all about minorities alone (and they'll attack any minorities who don't follow extremist leftist dogma, just look how racist they got after the Latino and black male votes were tallied) and rich celebrities. They also trash white people and men constantly, but surprise Pikachu face when a lot of them didn't vote their way. If you need proof they don't like or care about the working class, look at how they speak about people who are if they voted for Trump. They sneer about those people not being college educated (which has nothing to do with how intelligent or well-informed you are) and poor and stupid and all sorts of other things. If they weren't classist and out of touch, they might just say stupid, but the whole "they're so uneducated compared to the smart college-educated Kamala voters" reveals what they really think about the electricians and construction workers of the world.

"My hypothetical daughter won't be able to have an abortion if she accidentally gets pregnant from having casual sex." Rachel Zegler shouldn't have kids.
Video gaming being smaller audience and scale? Guys, it’s the other way around. Video gaming is bigger than the movie industry, it’s been for years. We are seeing the downfall of mainstream AAA gaming and DEI infested studios faster than the movie industry because of the insane losses that those studios brought upon themselves. Concord alone is a 400 million net loss for Sony, and we keep seeing flops this big again and again. Funny thing is that the industry itself is in a healthy state. Games still sell record amounts every year, it’s just that those big hits do not come from big established companies anymore.
She still doesn't get how unimportant her opinions are. We simply do not care what she thinks. I continue to watch Hollywood descend into obscurity with great relish.

just goes to show how fake they all are, none of them are real friends or care about each other.
@@formanimacion yes, it’s absolutely crazy! It seems they don’t actually believe in any of this, which is unintentionally hilarious. They are certainly aware that they will continue to prosper no matter who is president - that they could not care less how normal people are doing.
America should adopt the Roman view of actors.
Exactly - we definitely need to go back to the time actors were on the same level of prostitutes
Dear Rachel, actions have consequences, especially when you selfishly sleep around with guys.
Yup.
The real contradiction here is how the party that doesn't embrace religion is always so preachy...
The ideology they embrace does actually have it's roots in religious philosophy. It's not atheism just a different god that most of them aren't even aware of...
You can either worship God or yourself. Can't do both at the same time.

The confusion over her imaginary daughter was hilarious
she looks like Peter Dinklage and it really bothers me
I was thinking she looked like a troll but you're right, it's Dinklage if he were a brown girl.
Nah, she's Lord Farquaad from Shrek; looks and personality.
@@docsavage8640 Dinklage if he were a full man rather than just a half man.
@bwhere45 well if they ever did a live action shrek they'd probably hire him for the roll haha
@docsavage8640 it's the face structure she's got that little person big forehead eyes to far apart build
It’s time to de-hollywood the movie industry
A) they are not artists.
B) they would not want or respect my opinion on their work.
C) neither do I need or want their opinion on how I want the government to be run.
D) they can go E-G themselves. (yt keeps censoring me when I use the 6th letter of the alphabet).
I imagine that during their press junkets, interviews, and whatnot, they will be strongly advised by their PR managers and movie producers to not talk about politics or to not get political in their responses/answers.
What strange times we live in, where the jesters think they are the ones deciding who's going to be king.
I wonder if Disney is considering banishing "Snow White" to tax-write-off Batgirl territory at this point.
The most offensive part of zegler's post is that she claims to be 'waxing poetic'. I don't want to live in a world where writing like that is considered poetic.
I'm not kidding... everytime I see Rachel Zegler's in YT thumbnails, I immediately know she said something stupid again. Her list of dumb mistakes is longer then her movie career. :)
MrHreviews correctly highlights a fundamental truth at play: you can’t, in so many words, call your target audience an asshole and then expect them to buy tickets.
People just need to learn to live their lives no matter who resides in 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
100% agreed. I belive even outside the US most people would rather ignore US politics anyways.
Sadly, some decisions being made there are going to have long term consequences for the rest of the world, so ignoring it is more or less impossible.
7:53-that’s where they download the latest update to how they should think and feel. Spot on! Bloody brilliant
They want democracy and when they get it they start vrying like 2 year old girls. 😅
Welcome to Taco Bell Rachel Zegler speaking how may I help you?
OK, I'm going to Wendy's.
Well Done Rachel! May you always use your make-believe skills for the greater good.
Remember Kids! If you don't pay for it, it goes away.
What about the air we breathe? I should also apologize to the many places without clean air.
"We don't live in the country we thought we did" is exactly what I thought when Obama got re-elected. Welcome to the club, Luke.
She didn't write that apology. Boycott Snow White.
I can see how much effort went into this!
I don't have a problem with Hollywood types expressing their opinions....but, they should realize there are consequences to doing so. Especially when they have no clue what they're actually talking about....which is most of the time.
if she gets pregnant with a son, she gets an abortion. cause that's just how she is: a good and kind person! totally stable!
Do people like Zeller not give a fig about their hypothetical grandchildren? Her daughter’s unwanted child is Rachel’s grandchild!
She thinks we haven't been living in a society of hate since 2013? Man, the Ivory Towers must be really tall in Hollywood.
Lol , wait till you see the Jaguar advert ))))
People who hate one group complaining about that group having too much hate 🤔
Where the fuck are the studios? They need to be monitoring the social media accounts for actors they hire and say "Look, while we're trying to sell a movie, just shut up about politics. Better yet, say nothing we haven't told you to say." This needs to be in their contracts.
I saw Zegler and Wrong and was like "yup, I am watching this".
Ruffalo cried...and I laughed, and laughed and laughed.
LOL
I'm worried about the safety of her future child, like will she harm her child if it is a boy instead of a girl?

It's so cool how they included Jedi Brooks in the discussion! I love his videos, and it's so cool to see that he's made it to the big leagues with Drinker, MauLer and friends! Another cool guest I hope they invite in the future is Red Devilosa Reviews, who's making a five-part critique series on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and it's freaking BRILLIANT.
Rachel Zegler is the best example of the end product of the "everyone gets a trophy" mentality.
"My hypothetical daughter won't be able to have an abortion if she accidentally gets pregnant from having casual sex."
Rachel Zegler shouldn't have kids.
I wouldn't say actors are prostituting themselves, but they are the modern court jester. The public didn't turn to the jester for their politics.
They always have, since before the rise of Rome, paid pretenders.
Way the hell did Rachel Zeigler get a daughter from?. Weird... Weird...😵💫
zegler never learned to stop eating paint chips.
We're not even saying you have to like Trump, we're just asking you to stop talking about him because he affects nothing about your Beverly Hill lives
Since they fired Gina Carano for expressing her political view, will they do the same for Rachel Zegler?
Cant wait for the Hunger Games reboot... I volunteer her as tribute
A signed Mark Hamill poster sold for $342 on eBay, and that was to an auction!
Weird
Weird.
People really didn't think people in Hollywood are that smart or moral.
She still doesn't get how unimportant her opinions are. We simply do not care what she thinks. I continue to watch Hollywood descend into obscurity with great relish.
I remember Cypher wanting to be re-inserted into the Matrix as somebody important "like an actor." Whoops, that didn't age well...
Now I want a T-Bone steak. Damn Cypher!
Popular entertainment has switched/is switching to forums like UA-cam and TikTok. I know I'd rather watch a 75 year old mom demonstrate how to make mashed potatoes than 90% of what comes out of Hollywood. And sadly I'm not alone.
It's always the people who have no concept of how to put words together that insist on everyone hearing what they think.
Correction. She said this to a MAJORITY of her Audience, not Half.
Who asks their plumber who they should vote for? Nobody ! Why do actors think they are any different?
“…and evidently so.” - R. Zegler
Nah, they'll keep shouting into the echo chamber, even when their own echo packs up and leaves.
I wouldn't be surprised if at some point in the future and what ever film or even possibly TV show she gets a part in. Any of co stars will be like i hope Rachel Zegler doesn't open her mouth.
Getting political advise from an actor is like getting medical advice from a salesman.
Ironically many Doctors are pharmaceutical salespeople.
