I wish they would change the spend catagories to more normal spend. Gas, grocery dining. I’d be more apt to go after it. Both the personal and business are terrible earner cards
What I do is just use my Chase Sapphire Reserve card for earning points and then just transfer them over, so far its been pretty good!

Is that $15,000 spend within in the first 6 months ontop of the first $3k spend?
Basically you will earn the first 15,000 points if you spend $3k within the first 3 months.
Then for the duration of the first 6 months or until you spend $15,000 in total, you will earn 2 points per $1 spent on any purchases (including base level purchases), which equals 30,000 points.
After this time is up it will revert to 1 point per dollar spent (for any purchase that earn base points).

@@ksbma No, the first set of points is 15,000 points after meeting the $3,000 spend requirements.
If you manage to spend $15,000 in total within 3 months it is possible to earn a total of 30,000 points.
If you only spend $5,000 you will earn the sign up bonus of 15,000 points and then an additional 10,000 points from the 2 cents per points earning (assuming you are spending on base level purchases.)
This would equal a total of 25,000 in this example - hopefully that makes sense?

Although on line this is what it says “30,000 Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 on purchases in your first 3 months from account opening.* Plus, up to 30,000 More Bonus Points by earning 2 Bonus Points total per $1 spent in the first 6 months from account opening on purchases that normally earn 1 Bonus Point, on up to $15,000 spent.*”
Not worth the $15,000 spend. Be happy with the $3,000 spend
Hi Danny, awesome video! This is one credit card that I would like to get one day. I had question, not sure if you have come across to something similar to me. So I have my world of hyatt account and a few days ago I received an email from world of Hyatt but not from chase bank with a 30k bonus to apply. I would like to apply but I’m also over 6/24. And this email that I got is not from chase but directly from world of Hyatt, not sure if this offer from world of Hyatt can overpass the 5/24 rule? Has anyone had a similar situation? Thanks

I'm not 100% sure if it is possible to get pass the 5/24 rule.
It would be worth talking to Chase directly about the offer and see if they are open to allowing you to get the card.

Do Hyatt gift cards receive the 9x points?
That I am not sure, probably not, but its worth asking Chase the see if it is possible.
I think you should add in the fees for CPT calc as well, cuz I did that and a 300 dollar room was more like 500, so it effectively saved 500 a night

You can make the points stretch with Hyatt, but the spend requirement is very, very high, even after the initial bonus. So, it can easily cannibalize your other cards for a while. Thanks for the vidoe.
