Bruh I'm Hufflepuff through and through my wand is english oak 10 1/2inch with a unicorn core and unbending flexibility and my patronus is the bay stallion
So do you ony get the robes of "your" house? And is there any information about creating more than one character without deleting your first character/playthrough
It's worth mentioning that Chandler tweeted that linking your account will not lock you into anything. Meaning you are still free to choose your house or change your wand.
Im so glad they added this feature, it was one of the first things i was thinking of when i saw this game and they actually made it a reality. Im also curious if they are going to have the characteristics of the wand in game like for example my wand is made of hazel and it says on the website: "Hazel wands also have the unique ability to detect water underground, and will emit silvery, tear-shaped puffs of smoke if passing over concealed springs and wells." If they add that little touch that would be super cool and even if they didn't i just can't wait to see my wand and my wood mouse patronus ingame.
I’m a Hufflepuff, but I do want to see the other houses. So my goal would be to go to my house first and then replay it for other house options. I kinda hope in some way that where you go shapes the world a little around you. Much like how in Mass Effect or Dragon Age. Whatever your background is, it’s always interesting whenever people comment about it. Say your a Slytherin and someone from Gryffindor mentions how there has been a long standing rivalry. Would be interesting to either prove them right or wrong based on your interactions with them. Like would someone distrust you and you have to earn that trust or not even care. Or would they underestimate you. Kind of why I liked Dragon Age, depending on your race and class the responds back and kind of want the same for this game. Should it be like dragon Age, no. But it would be neat to see if they really pay attention to details.
I havent done that quiz but i would assume it gives u the result right away. But how great would it be if it dident and it was revealed for u at the sorting ceremony in-game. If u wanted 1 specific u could just not do the test or use a new WB account when u start playing to pick what house u want but the reveal suprise would be awesome if u did use the same account and ofc not look up what responds would give u what house becouse u know some mad ppl are definatly gonna make a list of that regardless how many accounts it would take.
I'll probably take the quiz, but for Role-playing-sake, I'd like a "choose your House" feature, for multiple playthroughs, depending on if the game has a Good/Evil Slider like in Star Wars: KotoR. House: Gryffindor Patronus: St. Bernard Wand: Willow, Dragon Heartstring
I hope they allow you to get the rewards for all houses as my main playthrough will be Ravenclaw and my dark playthrough will be as Slytherin. I just have to respect how cool the Slytherin house room is from the entrance to the dark aesthetic and fact its underwater it just screams cool. House: Ravenclaw Patronus: Dragon Wand: Elder Wood, Phoenix Core, 14 ½" and Unyielding flexibility.
Same because I really want to play with different house mainly because they don't get much attention in any game expect gryffindor. House: Gryffindor Patronus: Wolf Wand: yew wood, dragon core 12 1/2 unbending flexibity
It's great that there's additional items to get before the game comes out, especially ones that tie in closely with other aspects of the Wizarding World
Will they allow wand making in game if u don’t sinc accounts? Cuz if we get a basic wand with little variation in game without sincing, then I’ll sinc but I do just want to design my own without a quiz.
Imo they should forgo selecting houses due to un balanced house population, allow the hat to choose and give the players an option to switch houses once or twice after.
I thought those were the Quidditch team robes. But, no! They're fanatical! Wow, that's so much better. Making the Goblins the antagonist (with what they are a stereotype of). This is just excellent. THANKS devs. This is a great message.
Hopefully even though you can connect it to the hp website, there's still freedom to choose what house you want to be in game. and also would it effect your patronus and wand material too? and if there's an animagus mechanic in the game, would it be affected too? On wizarding world website i'm a gryffindor, hippogriff patronus, larch unicorn hair wand. I want to be a ravenclaw but i want the patronus and starting new with another account would be such a waste

First I've sorted into Gryffindor based on my personality test, and that's right red is my fav color hovewer I feel like more comfortable with Ravenclaw based on it's profile and it's scientist/astrologist theme. So I repeated the test until I've got into Ravenclaw. I've never been a big Harry Potter fan but somehow this game managed to get my attention. I think I'll put my trust into this game as a preorder and we'll see it :D House: Ravenclaw Patronus: Brown Bear Wand: Black Walnut
House Ravenclaw, Thestral patronus, and an Alder Wood, Dragon Core, 12 in., Slightly Springy wand. I was leaning more to Slytherin but whatever. I guess I'll flip a coin between the two once it comes out.
House: Ravenclaw Patronus: Greyhound Wand: Acacia wood with a unicorn core 10 ¾" and quite bendy flexibility Acacia Wood A very unusual wand wood, which I have found creates tricky wands that often refuse to produce magic for any but their owner, and also withhold their best effects from all but those most gifted. This sensitivity renders them difficult to place, and I keep only a small stock for those witches or wizards of sufficient subtlety, for acacia is not suited to what is commonly known as "bangs-and-smells" magic. When well-matched, an acacia wand matches any for power, though it is often underrated due to the peculiarity of its temperament. Wands with unicorn cores are generally the most difficult to turn to the Dark Arts. They are the most faithful of all wands, and usually remain strongly attached to their first owner, irrespective of whether he or she was an accomplished witch or wizard. Minor disadvantages of unicorn hair are that they do not make the most powerful wands (although the wand wood may compensate) and that they are prone to melancholy if seriously mishandled, meaning that the hair may 'die' and need replacing. 10 ¾" Length The following notes on wand length and flexibility are taken from notes on the subject by Mr Garrick Ollivander, wandmaker. Most wands will be in the range of between nine and fourteen inches. While I have sold extremely short wands (eight inches and under) and very long wands (over fifteen inches), these are exceptionally rare. Quite Bendy flexibility Wand flexibility or rigidity denotes the degree of adaptability and willingness to change possessed by the wand-and-owner pair - although, again, this factor ought not to be considered separately from the wand wood, core and length, nor of the owner’s life experience and style of magic, all of which will combine to make the wand in question unique.
Looking forward to this. Will use this in my first playthrough, to get my Laurel Wand with a Dragon Core, 13 1/4" long, with a slightly springy flexibility... and my Eagle Patronus. Not looking forward to Gryffindor, even if ALL the damn quizzes and tests sort me into that house... I just love Slytherin. But as I said previously: I can just play the game twice 😛

No scumming accounts and I got pretty good results for answering as truthful as I could. Gryffindor & a yew, phoenix core wand. Now time to do the opposite of what is expected and be a bad guy.
I wonder what other abilities Hogwarts Legacy will feature. I don't know if becoming an Animagus will be included as a feature. Also, if I ever do the sorting quiz, I want to do it in the view of my own character rather than real life me.
I think being an animagus would be so cool. I hope that it has some functions and uses in game outside of just being like a "combat" power. I play a lot of D&D and in my world there is a thieves guild of wererats that have little passageways that lead into their underground lairs and communities that normal people simply can't fit into and must shrink small enough to go in. That way, its impossible for anyone to get in who doesn't belong unless they actually take the time to dig it out entirely which would be very noticable and everyone has time to flee with all their stolen goodies.
I've been curious about the animagus and if there is a patronus charm can you choose the animal it is and if it connects your Wizarding world account to the game is there a choice in the patronus
@@TheDrexxus I never thought of our Animagus being a combat power, I've thought of it being an exploration tool. Mine is a Dolphin so I would be able to visit more bodies of water; others can fly, run fast, and in your example shrink down and explore small crevices
I feel like people are just gonna cheat quizes to get what they want, i answer them honestly (even tho there were times i was undecided by the questions) but i got Slytherin, a leopardess patronus and a apple wand with dragon core.
If you connect your account for example as griffindor, will you still be able to choose another house? And more importently, will we get the robes from all for houses?
House: Slytherin Patronus: Brown Owl Wand: Pine Wood with a Dragon Core 12 ½" and supple flexibility I didn't expect this but somehow it just feels right, I can't explain it.
not sure how i'd feel about if you'd want to replay it as another character in another house and still want the nice robe, but it would potentially be locked.. unless the robes are purely cosmetic and offer no real benefit, so you would change them out once you reach a cirtain point in the game anyway
@@Empty12345 I hope so. I got sorted into Gryffindor but I will for sure create a second character to play in ravenclaw. Their special robe and common room sold the game imo.
House: Gryffindor Wand: Ebony, Dragon Heart String, 12 inches though for the record even if you link your account I doubt that the choices of house would be disabled when starting a new game, I think It would work more like the default you can change, what this announcement does confirm is that players will be given a choice of wands, to what exact extent is up for debate though like: are there preset designs for wands and changing the wood changes the colour of the wand or does each wood have it's own locked presets to chose from and if there are presets do you think they would include the characters wands (like using Harry's wand, Voldemorts wand or the elder wand) or is it a bit more custom with being able to change the colour by wood and adding extra details after, I don't know, what do you think, the one thing I can say for sure (despite it being a guess) is the wand that comes with the collectors edition is going to be available to use, it most likely has some story significance (given how well designed it is) and will probably unlock once you get to certain point
My favorite common rooms so far from what I've seen are Slytherin and Hufflepuff but no quiz ever sorts me into those so I guess I'll be doing more than one playthrough! House: Ravenclaw Patronus: Dragonfly Wand: Elder Wood, Unicorn, 10.5 inches, Unyielding
Elder Wood The rarest wand wood of all, and reputed to be deeply unlucky, the elder wand is trickier to master than any other. It contains powerful magic, but scorns to remain with any owner who is not the superior of his or her company; it takes a remarkable wizard to keep the elder wand for any length of time. The old superstition, ‘wand of elder, never prosper,’ has its basis in this fear of the wand, but in fact, the superstition is baseless, and those foolish wandmakers who refuse to work with elder do so more because they doubt they will be able to sell their products than from fear of working with this wood. The truth is that only a highly unusual person will find their perfect match in elder, and on the rare occasion when such a pairing occurs, I take it as certain that the witch or wizard in question is marked out for a special destiny. An additional fact that I have unearthed during my long years of study is that the owners of elder wands almost always feel a powerful affinity with those chosen by rowan.

@@TheDrexxus I never thought of our Animagus being a combat power, I've thought of it being an exploration tool. Mine is a Dolphin so I would be able to visit more bodies of water; others can fly, run fast, and in your example shrink down and explore small crevices
House: Slytherin
Patronus: Piebald Stallion
Wand: Alder, Phoenix Core
super happy with these results! Cant wait for the game
House: Slytherin
Patronus: Brown Owl
Wand: Pine Wood with a Dragon Core 12 ½" and supple flexibility
I didn't expect this but somehow it just feels right, I can't explain it.
Did anyone else get the Hummingbird patronus? Ive noticed that its not even listed on the website and i still got it. I hope it is still in the game
I did that quiz a long time ago and I have to say I have definitely changed so is there any way to like change that or redo or something
House: Ravenclaw
Patronus: Black Stallion
Wand: English Oak, Phoenix Core, 12 1/4", Surprisingly Squishy Flexibility
This game is gonna be ENORMOUS
House: Ravenclaw
Patronus: Falcon
Wand: Maple wood with a dragon core 11 ¾" and supple flexibility
😲
House: Gryffindor 🦁🔴🟡
Patronus: manx cat
Wand: alder wood, dragon core
not sure how i'd feel about if you'd want to replay it as another character in another house and still want the nice robe, but it would potentially be locked.. unless the robes are purely cosmetic and offer no real benefit, so you would change them out once you reach a cirtain point in the game anyway
They are purely cosmetic.
I believe you'll unlock all the robes for your account, so when restarting you'll just have them in your inventory.
@@Empty12345 I hope so. I got sorted into Gryffindor but I will for sure create a second character to play in ravenclaw. Their special robe and common room sold the game imo.
Can you only get one of those house robes for the one you got in the quiz? I would love to get all of them if possible
I hope the game release is at the right time
House: Gryffindor
Wand: Ebony, Dragon Heart String, 12 inches
though for the record even if you link your account I doubt that the choices of house would be disabled when starting a new game, I think It would work more like the default you can change, what this announcement does confirm is that players will be given a choice of wands, to what exact extent is up for debate though like: are there preset designs for wands and changing the wood changes the colour of the wand or does each wood have it's own locked presets to chose from and if there are presets do you think they would include the characters wands (like using Harry's wand, Voldemorts wand or the elder wand) or is it a bit more custom with being able to change the colour by wood and adding extra details after, I don't know, what do you think, the one thing I can say for sure (despite it being a guess) is the wand that comes with the collectors edition is going to be available to use, it most likely has some story significance (given how well designed it is) and will probably unlock once you get to certain point
i got gryffindor !! omg i always knew in my heart it was the right house this made me so happy because i answered the questions honestly
will it also include what you corporeal Patronus is?
House: slytherin
Patronus: hyppogriff

I wonder if there will be a sorting ceremony in game as well?
It will

My favorite common rooms so far from what I've seen are Slytherin and Hufflepuff but no quiz ever sorts me into those so I guess I'll be doing more than one playthrough!
House: Ravenclaw
Patronus: Dragonfly
Wand: Elder Wood, Unicorn, 10.5 inches, Unyielding

@@Nisselak thanks for the info.
Why am I so excited to play a Slithern in the game. My favorite professor is Slughorn, and I love green. It's going to be amazing.
Dang I wanted Ravenclaw but got griff. Oh well they're dope too.
Are wizarding world and wb games account the same thing?
Just signed up. Got Slytherin and the Elder wand...Leshgoooo! Those house robes look sick. Wonder if which wand you get actually matter in game or not
I don't think you can get the elder wand.
Elder wood dude. Not THE elder wand. ? 🤔
Elder Wood
The rarest wand wood of all, and reputed to be deeply unlucky, the elder wand is trickier to master than any other.
U can't get the elder wand so I detect lies
How do you link it to the game or do you have to wait
