Here is what I want to see in the sequel. Less Merlin Trials. Less clothing donation bins disguised as mini-dungeons. A resolution to Anne Sallow's storyline. More spells. including Expecto Patronum and Dementors a recurring foe throughout the game. More locations: Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley, Gringotts. Azkaban, Ministry of Magic, other Wizarding Schools, Quidditch, more magical beasts, more potions, time travel.
agree with everything except time travel. that was never possible in the harry potter universe. u could see people memories using the pensieves, but time travel was never possible. adding to your list would be the deathly hallows, and more classes not just 1 for each spell and thats it.
@ Hermione had a time turner. That was the whole plot of book 3. It wasn’t invented yet at the time of the game, but they were likely working on it in the Department of Mysteries, leading to Professor Hecat being “wounded by time”.
@@mikeymcchoas3511 yeah but even when hermione used it it was incredibly dangerous so i dont get why you'd want that in a game, it is such a small specific ask. everything else you said is great.
I mean.....they could just add an animation of a time turner for when we fail missions and choose to restart them or have the animation when we choose to load a previous checkpoint😂
Just let us fly around all the map and higher the ceiling….i don’t know about you guys but I think the barriers that stop you from going over a hill are a little pointless
@ there’s a section of the map to the south of Hogwarts where there’s a hill/mountain and you can’t just fly over it to get to feldcroft….theres a Barrier that forces you to fly around it for some reason. And I know this probably isn’t a big deal but I just think little things like that just make no sense to me. They could have made the ceiling really high and just make like a frosting effect on the broom if you go higher than what would be possible.
@@andrewboltwood8614 Oh right I see what you mean. Yeah it is a bit puzzling. I wonder if they did it because they want people to fly around and see more scenery lol
It may be that the areas you can't get to in the current game are expansion areas for a sequel or DLC. Not to mention slowing down progress like Assassin's Creed where areas have to be opened through mission completion and storyline progression. However, I did find it a bit annoying that I couldn't fly through Hogsmead lol
Needs to be like bully, you can gain people’s trust or make them scared of you around the school. Maybe use an honour system. Make the classes more engaging and actually have more than one class. More detailed and interesting environments outside of the school. Bigger and scarier forbidden forest. Give us quidditch. I want the triwizard tournament to be in the academic year too.
Love your ideas!! I wish the school kids would react to my character!! And that I could cast spells on them. They feel so empty and lifeless. The open world has a lot of quests and puzzles, but I would add a whole lot more monsters to fight and ingredients to collect. I feel too safe out there.
Live service is just objectively stupid. Why do I need to be online to play a singleplayer game? How dumb do these execs have to be to even consider it? I swear they have no common sense
I’d love to be able to customise dormitories - they’re pretty much unused rooms after the first introduction, especially after accessing the Room of Requirement. Customise them and have mini quests or games set there. Imagine setting up inventions like the Weasley twins’ jokes etc or creating sweets, spells, or even planning scavenger hunts for younger students, using spells you unlock. And NPC interaction choices affecting storylines going forward. More potions and plants! And your own pet that aids you in your quests, provides magical ingredients but interacts with you like a normal pet.
Live service is the cancer of modern gaming. I want to have a game that is developed, and designed with passion and a soul, not pump and dump just so the publishers can capitablise on hype and push microtransactions and other monetary greed practices. Hogwarts Legacy was the best selling game of 2023 for a couple reasons, but the game being a dedicated single player game with no live service rubbish especially from WB was a breathe of fresh air in the triple A space. HL 2 needs to follow the same route, a completely offline game but give us paid expansions. If Elden Ring, Cyberpunk and many other games can, Hogwarts Legacy can too... NO LIVE SERVICE!
Hi Everyone, I’m a big fan of the Wizarding World from Sweden and I would love to share my ideas for the upcoming sequal! I think many of you would like to see more of the action that’s going on in Hogwarts Legacy; and yes, the Wizarding World is about duelling, beasts and dark wizards too. But I on the other hand would love to feel like a normal Hufflepuff-student for once. This includes studies, classes, sneaking up at night with my friends, OWL’s etc, immersion, Diagon Alley etc. I don’t feel the need of being the savior of the Wizarding World. I would also wish for: - More spells: Not only usefull ones. They could include jinxes etc. - Deeper immersion: Being able to sit by the fire. Reading books we already know stuff about (The History of Hogwarts etc). - More beasts. - A map consisting of Hogwarts, the grounds, the lake (underwater?), the forbidden forest and Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and the Ministry. - Consequences of your actions. - More magical plants and more herbology. - More subjects. -Quidditch. - Wizards Chess. - Animagus. - The option to hold/grab/holster items like the wand etc. - The same currency as in the lore of the Wizarding World! The list can be made long but yeah, that’s some of my so many ideas. I wish you all the best! 🧙🏼♂️
@@melwinbylund Me too, mate - Harry Potter Theory is the goat on YT - The only thing I'd add personally is more freedom in dialogue options similar to BG3 - obvs not the same scale as that would be pretty difficult to achieve but at least more variations so we can more time our characters personality to our liking
@@Business101HQFacts! And as the diehard fans we are, at least I would love less combat and more lore😇Do you have Discord? Would love to talk about our ideas and maybe play Quidditch Champions?
I don’t want a different school, if they do maybe a small quest to the Africa one with the girl we met at hogwarts, but I would prefer they just have us go to diagonally and the ministry, and perhaps rescue Sebastian from Azkaban, they could have some other areas around London, maybe st mungos hospital also, but it’s “HOGWARTS LEGACY” not wizard world legacy, I hope canon is Sebastian goes to Azkaban, ominous breaks down and/or Sebastian’s sister is turned evil somehow, then we break Sebastian out to help us and some kind of story along those lines, maybe we first go to the ministry to ask for Sebastian to be released because we know Anne or Ominus will only be able to be saved with him, they don’t allow us so we go break him out… what I REALLY hope for is more morale system in game, night time less ppl and u aren’t allowed to walk the castle, like they originally wanted HL to be, but then also each character if they see us using unforgivable they may not want to associate with us anymore and eventually using unforgivables will have other npcs call aurors to come and try to take US to Azkaban, perhaps we will become the dark wizard… but yeah, no other schools, we just need more recognisable places from hp books 😊🍻
I think an issue with Sebastian going to Azkaban being canon is that it would mean the player character was directly responsible for putting him there. Meaning it would be hard to get the player into a position where they would want/have to rescue him in order to have him available for the game while still feeling like a choice. If I remember, if you tell on seb, Anne says she's going to defend him in court so at most I think he would be punished in a way that wouldnt put him in Azkaban... but even then... it would suck to have to deal with the emotional fallout for all the people who didnt choose to tell on him. If it were me, I'd make the route where you dont tell be canon and have him go further down the path he was on until you come to a head. You can further influence him to be bad or push him to redemption. Otherwise they would need to follow and expand on systems like Dragon Age's where it keeps track of previous game choices and changes things based on that.
@ it’s been a while since I played it thru so I’ll take ur word for it, but I hope u understand what I mean, it makes sense to use something like that to take us to Azkaban, dragon ally should be somewhere we go early game, maybe return later to pick up supplies for something, the ministry we could go with Anne to fight for Sebastian or something, the only school I think that would make sense is the African one, the video he says he wants to visit other schools, my biggest point about my comment was that we don’t need to do that with so much local to hogwarts to visit first, maybe the 3rd/final game we could visit a different school, or meet someone from one, that could lead into the next game with different plot at a completely different school… that’s just me tho, I like games to have great stories, not big open worlds just because there is a big open world 🤷♂️😊🍻
@@haleydawnrickett so they can do a different game around that, this is HOGWARTS legacy 😉 that means it’s based around the Harry Potter universe, they need to finish flushing out the areas from Harry Potter to make the fans happy, not go on wierd adventures that don’t make sense, fantastic beasts series partly proved that (that was also other stuff that ruined it)but yeah they don’t need to go to other places, Harry Potter is the thing ppl love, it’s the nostalgia it’s already got lots of places we haven’t been to in a game, they should focus on that instead of testing things that could break the immersion 🍻
@@Wandervenneven tho we didnt snitch on Sebastian, all the proofs can be found. The Ministry will know that uncle was dead from Avada, not "died in his sleep" like the villagers were been told. I think no matter how much we tried to defend him, the ministry would know the truth and finally putting him in Azkaban after the trial. Imagine a quest when we are called to attend the trial at ministry of magic as a witness, answering questions as we tried to defend him but at the end we saw Sebastian being dragged into Azkaban and we later learn patronus charm to rescue him Then we save Ann from her illness We didnt have enough closure and happy ending on HL 1
Avalanche Software made Hogwarts Legacy, not Avalanche Studios - the makers of HL had nothing to do with Just Cause/Mad Max. They are two completely different studios.
It's insane the amount of misinformation he is feeding to the people. First he says portkey games made the game then avalanche studios. Just wow. And I'm only one minute into the video lol
Here's my full wishlist! -QUIDDITCH please it's a crime for a HP game not to have Quidditch - idc if the world is smaller, just include Quidditch -More main quests in the castle, HL 1 barely felt like I was a student bc I had to spend so much time outside the castle -More classes (maybe even a weekly schedule) and more gameplay in them -Chamber of Secrets! -Yule Ball -Permanent duelling club! -Romance options -House point count visible in the Entrance Hall sandglasses, and House Cup competition where we can earn points for our house!! -HP characters, at least ones that fit the timeline like Tom Riddle and Dumbledore -Be able to sit on chairs, benches, couches in the castle and lay down in our bed instead of sleeping on the floor next to it lol -Many more students in the Great Hall at mealtimes, in common rooms and especially in our dormitory at night, they feel empty -To have to go to the Great Hall (or our dorm) to receive owls, or at least see our owl swooping in to give us a letter -Clock icon that shows in-game time, it's hard to estimate the length of day/night -For the areas patrolled by prefects at night during a quest to continue to be patrolled in normal gameplay, it doesn't make sense otherwise -More quests as a trio with 2 other characters (like the ones with Sebastian and Ominis!) -Ability to brew and use Polyjuice Potion to get into other common rooms -For the Grand Staircase stairs to actually move like in the old PC games, not just appear/disappear -For the rare game events to happen a bit less rarely (Hogwarts Express, giant squid etc). I get that they're rare but I've played 50+ hours and still haven't seen any. -Be able to buy things from classic Hogsmeade stores like Honeydukes and Zonko's -Be able to interact with more objects in the castle than just spinning globes, e.g. casting leviosa on benches and slamming them into students like in the old PC games (my favorite pastime) -Patronus Charm!
Hogwarts legacy 2 franchising our hogsmeade shop hiring more house elves, a goblin bookkeeper (maybe that guy from the intro we disturbed from a nap). We need a diagon alley location...
maybe you can mess around in the muggle world with magic, but get in trouble with the ministry of magic if you get caught. forgetfulness magic, illusion charms, and shenanigans adding a stealth/secrecy element.
1. Online mode 2. ( Kind of a continuation) I want to eat at the great hall, take actual classes, not just short cutscenes, but at least 5 - 10 minute classes with my friends and play Quidditch. 3. A deeper morality system. I want my bad choices to affect how people view me and react, I want my choices to affect my relationships and possibly even have wizards and witches hunt me ( kind of like bounty hunters from RDR2 ) 4. More spells 5. More friendships/ relationships. Sebastian, Natty and Poppy were cool. But I want more characters to interact with and even date, especially since our characters will be older. I think that’s it
Know about the room filled with wands & wand handles? I want that room to be where you have WAYY more customizable handles, colors. Also I want more focus and definition on the wand as im using it. I'm tired of barely seeing any detail or color change in my wand. More outfits Flying mini dragons for sale that are ur pet. Like the scene in the Goblet of fire, where the contestants were blindly picking small dragons for the event. More spells, higher level npc dark witches & wizards I want to be able to read new news papers everyday if possible from the stand in hogsmeade. More brooms & entire customizable brooms
My hope is that we get a unique skill tree for each house . This would greatly add to the overall replayability of Hogwarts Legacy 2. It just makes sense to go this route as some houses are better at certain things , and rewarding the player with special house perks only makes sense.
you've made a mistake, Avalanche Studios Group is a different company from Avalanche that made Hogwarts Legacy, the only game they made was Car disney game
what sucks in a way is the paid dlc thing means they lied to their fanbase. They did state at the beginning there would be no paid dlc, just future upgrades and the like. :/
WHAT WE WANT: Seamless, Shared Open World Features 1. Persistent Homes and Properties: - Build or customize a magical home in iconic locations (Hogsmeade, Forbidden Forest, or wizarding villages). - Friends can visit your home freely, walk in, and explore its unique decorations, magical gardens, and creature sanctuaries in real time. - Host parties or gatherings like Yule celebrations, feasts, or even friendly dueling competitions on your grounds. 2. Dynamic Open World Interaction: - Everything in the world is accessible-friends can join you for quests, walk into shops, or stumble upon your farm while flying on their brooms. - Real-time NPC interactions where your choices and actions (like marrying an NPC or opening a shop) visibly impact the world for everyone. - Spells like “Alohomora” to unlock doors or pranks like “Wingardium Leviosa” on each other’s furniture, adding a playful social layer. - Quidditch tournaments/events -- I wanna cheer on my hubby! 3. Player-Driven Magic Society: - Shared resources-set up trade agreements for potion ingredients or rare magical creature breeding. - Global events like dragon invasions or dark wizard raids that everyone in the area can rally together to face, or beat them alone and earn rewards - Post Hogwarts Life! Show us magical jobs! - Dueling - Pets - ROMANCE - Visit the other schools (Oh to romance some of the charas from the other wizarding mobile games...Japanese Hubby? Fun! 4. Immersive Everyday Life: - Walk through bustling magical streets with friends and shop for wands, robes, or ingredients in stores. - Sit down in the Three Broomsticks for butterbeer, join a street Quidditch game, or relax by a magical fire in your home-all with other players. - Marriage and family dynamics: live with your partner (another player or NPC), raise magical children+Pets, and take them on adventures. 5. Rich Exploration and Roleplaying: - Vast, interconnected regions like Hogwarts, the Forbidden Forest, and international areas without loading screens. - All quests and locations are accessible without instancing-bring your friends along as you uncover ancient secrets or tame magical creatures. - Career paths and roleplaying options-become an Auror, Healer, or shopkeeper, all while staying immersed in the shared world. 6. >:) Adult-level game. Take Notes from Baulders Gate 3 (TAKE ALL THE NOTES AND YOU WILL MAKE BILLIONS)
Yes!!!! Exactly what I want too!!!! Also being able to choose which wizarding school you want to go to to study could be cool! I would love to go through all of the schools with different characters!
All I want is to romance Sebastian. 😭 I want all the cozy things that come with Hogwarts. Sleeping in my dorm at night, choosing a pet, eating with my friends in the great hall, etc. But please, please. We just need the romance option.
I'd love new spells, better land traversal as the big beast felt quite awkward but the flying mounts were awesome! More than anything else though I just want more ability to be anything else other than a constant goody goody in dialogue - give us more opportunities to be sassy, rude, playful, humourus etc and create our characters personality to reflect the character we're choosing to make - for instance in HL currently if you're pretending to be a dark wizard with gear and spells it falls flat as soon as you get into any dialogue
I just want to be able to sit down in my room of requirement. Maybe even show friends around. Ability to buy and sell items in knockturn alley would also be fun if you chose the darker path. More backstory on our character. And the amount of Merlin trials has got to go like yesterday.
Honestly I can’t wait I love the regular game the main story is just a lil lack luster towards the end compared to the forbidden spells side quest which was super interesting but the free roam is really nice and the little things like having pets is nice too, I can’t wait to see what they do with the next one
i would like legacy 2 to be about the first wizarding war and have view points of both sides of the war create a death eater character and an order character and have some reprecautions of using the unforgivable spells
Def need to add a moral system that also works like Fable. Can only unlock certain spells and things after a high enough good or evil rating with those also having an effect on your appearance. They have to add Quidditch as well. With that just making a bigger world with more of the iconic wizarding world places. For example if you get good enough at Quidditch there is a mission that unlocks the world tournament. My biggest thing is having the choices you make in the game effect your overall game so each player has a unique experience. Love the first.
I heave high expectation from HL 2 as a single player story focused game and that's how it should remain. But i don't agree with you for story based game the worst things that can happen is to add Micro-transactions this should heave never been a thing Micro-transactions are for online games, gacha games and other games from that category, everything in a single player game should be 100% free because we pain for that by buying the game, the fact that the games heave perks and advantages based on the version of the game your buying is more then enough. As for DLC in general everyone asks for DLC all over the place and that's again another reason Single player games lost a lot of value over the years. When a game is released it should be released only in its final form(complete form) so payed DLC/Expansions are unacceptable cash grabs. But lets say that they got a lot of inspiration after release and they want to make a DLC great up until this points next comes the issue, a base game at release is 60$ give or take and if the DLC is like 30$ that means that the DLC has to heave content as much as 50% of the base game has or more and from that alone is never worth buying a DLC. Hogwarts Legacy 1 story only takes like 28-30 hours to complete so 15hours for a DLC is ok, but what about 100% completing the game that's like 68-70 hours so the DLC outside of the 15hours for the story it should also heave 35 more hours of things to do will it? Well i don't think so.
If I could have it in a perfect world House Point System Quiddich Morality System More engaging classwork Less friendly dialogue Maayybbee Multiplayer, even if its limited to Quiddich Otherwise, this game is everything I could want already from the universe.
I dont understand how a sequel works, a lot of choices you make through out the first game makes the ending different for other players. So whats cannon?
They're just some features that would really help out a lot, such as when you cast lumos before combat, your wand should stay lit while attacking when you're in the dark. I wish that there were some features that are featured in games such as Skyrim that would also be implemented in Hogwarts legacy such as sleeping in a bed, it doesn't make sense that your character should have to sleep on the ground, that's what transfiguration is for. They're just several several things that could be improved on, I was vastly and greatly disappointed when I found out that quidditch would not be introduced into this game and then they had the audacity to release that quidditch game that was just really poor quality. I want quidditch to be introduced into Hogwarts legacy 2, and I want it to be a much better graphical quality. I think they should implement a crime system into the game so if we do decide to play an evil character there can be evil choices that we make, such as using unforgivable curses on other peers, I think things such as cooking camping and hunting should be also a consideration. I want Hogwarts legacy to be a little bit more like Skyrim. That would make me happy. I think that we should be able to explore the adult life of a wizard and what their career choices mean for their character, because this is supposedly happened 50 years before the start of Voldemort and all of the events proceeding his rise to power. So I'm just curious to see where all of this picks up, but I don't think they're going to do that until the 3rd or 4th installment or whatever.
Hogwarts legacy was made by avalanche software, not avalanche studios. There are separate companies. The most noticeable game avalanche software made was disney infinity.
I think much of your “wants” won’t happen. People seem to forget how long and how hard these wants would be to actually implement AND how taxing they would be on your systems
All I can say as far as live games goes... having played several over the years, is that there are FAR too many people who have nothing better to do than to make other players miserable. Griefing is too rampant in so many games. I just have 0 time for that. The older I get the more I dislike dealing with such things. Would be nice if things were ideal and you didn't have rampant griefing and cheating. Now... that said I look forward to a Hogwarts Legacy II... I hope it is as amazing as the first one. I can't tell you how much I enjoy it. I am still ever so slowly working on my 3rd playthrough of it. Some of it though does get rather monotonous. Such as the unlocking puzzle and watching the Merlin trials... I do enjoy doing the Merlin trials... but having to watch the end thing over and over gets a bit dull. I would love to be able to ride a Unicorn, I would love to have more spells, to have consequences to using "dark" magic... to have more classroom experiences... to meet more classmates... to be able to do more with other classmates. To see more of the wizarding world. To have more pets/creatures to rescue... which would mean that I would either need more of the area's to keep them... or I'd need to be able to put more creatures in each one. But expanding those would be awesome. It would be nice to have more of a desert sort of environment and maybe a wintery one... Ice capped mountain top or something like that... and maybe a water area... how about being able to actually go down and visit a city of merpeople ... how interesting would that be? And then be able to swim underwater using spells or gillyweed or something ... with underwater creatures to rescue... just a thought. I would like it if we could become and animagus... I would like to cast a patronus and such. Anyway... I can't wait to see what they do. I can say that I have seriously enjoyed playing Hogwarts Legacy... and I can see that the developers put a lot of work and thought and devotion into it. I hope they put just as much into its sequel. But again... I would prefer not to play in more of an MMO type game. I would probaby try it... but honestly like I said there are sadly too many people who for whatever reason can't seem to play nice and have nothing better to do in their lives than to make other people miserable. It's sad but true.
I really hope they stick with the time period the first one was set in. I don’t think WB should set it in modern day time. Also I’d absolutely love to see them add some of the other schools as well. On top of that outside of the game it’s self I’d love to see them do some movies on the founders forming Hogwarts and some movies on the other schools
here is what the sequel needs: 1)dark/light wizard path depends on houses and choices, 2) no trans or pc bs 3) immersive sleeping, eating, sitting, classes, 4) accurate lore for the young and adults. 5) diagon ally, having your own vault that fills up the more money u have, 6) own businesses 7) if u can be a dark lord make a crew system or nemesis system, 8) own a mansion or house, 9) custom heritage, 10) dark corruption deformities,if u go dark path. 11) death eater flying, 12) own a pet, 13) jail/arrest system, 14) dark wizard clothing style that’s not a dlc, 15) horucroxes, 16) no merlin trials or pointless puzzles 17) quidditch cup 18) custom appearance for character and wand at any time, 19) map that stretch beyond borders of hogwarts and out, 20) train travel, 21) if character can be dark lord we need physical dark corruption, 22) teleportation. 23) rideable dragons, 24) wizard wars.
As long as hogwarts legacy 2 isn’t a full live service game because that could ruin it live service elements like u said yes it also needs to be set into the 6th year
The key to their livestream service success is to give us GTA V but Hogwarts Legacy. Minigames, co-op missions, survival waves of enemies, More Crossed Wands, and of course I should be able to find any of you and duel you. The more chaos I cause send Aurors and Dementors.... Just a thought.
Admittedly annoyed at the direction choice. I dont really want to be attached to the main series. I think that was one of the main failings of Fantastic Beasts. It was fun when it was it's own story in the world and it became annoying when it started tying in bits from the main series. Just let me build my own legacy. Not everything has to lead up to Harry Potter.
They should cut the open world map in half and use the extra space to create more corridors and secret passages in Hogwarts. They need to make more of the story based in Hogwarts.
maybe can expand to other parts of the timeline, you can have post harry potter world where you try to free magical creatures from wizarding rule. this world was sort of focused on the goblin rebellions, which was being taught in harry's wizarding class as magical history, but that thread never resolved since even during harry potters life, magical creatures were still banned from carrying wands and were second class citizens. Would be cool to join the side of goblins, centaurs, and elves.
after game could involve hedge mazes that are different everytime and you and your friends can do them with all sorts of enemies in it, kinda like zombies in a way.
I didn't like that you could walk around the school at night with no consequences other than certain missions where you had to avoid the prefects. I think the prefects should be there in the school at all times at night, it keeps it fun and exciting to sneak around.
I love it I friggin love it! Avalanche please give us some sort of shop where we can spend our gold and maybe decorate our dormitories. By the end of the game I have like 50k gold and I’ve already bought EVERYTHING
Dude, Hogwarts Legacy was made by Avalanche Software, which is a different company from Avalanche Studios. Avalanche Software's first blockbuster game was Hogwarts Legacy.
Warner Bros have already had a live service game in Harry Potter Magic Awakened. They managed it terribly and we were charged significantly more for in game purchases than the players on the CN/TW servers. They shut down the global server without any warning. Everyone on the global servers all lost our accounts. Luckily we were transferred to the Asian servers ran by Netease. I’d never trust Warner Bros to run a live service game ever again.
They have a lot of work to do the hp universe is big and they definetely need to work on taking advantage of next gen and multiplayer content to actually continue the life span of the series
I know there's all this before Harry Potter thing. But what about after Harry Potter? I'd be curious to see what Hogwarts looks like after Harry Potter.
quidditch, companions up to 2 slots, interactive NPCs and classes, interactive objects - i just wanted to lie down not through a mod; killable charlotte 😂, more spells and beasts, azkaban expansion, anne's cure, option to turn on moral laws so i wont be tempted to AK every tedious enemies
honestly, if it's not focused on school life, I might not even buy HL 2... I'm a huge hp fan and HL is amazing but I couldn't get very much engaged with it, I'm still at 10%, so if it's more of the same, I don't think I'll bother
Wrong piece of information 0:58. There are 2 Avalanche developer studios, Avalanche Studios are the guys that made Just Cause, and Avalanche Software made Disney Infinity, Cars 2 the game and other small projects. Hogwarts Legacy was made by Avalanche Software, not Avalanche Studios. Just to clear it up! :)
I hope they make the npcs more interactive with the character and world and I hope it’s more enemies. And speaking of npc…can they at least react or be harmed when getting blasted by a wand attack in Hogwarts Legacy 2. Idk why but I feel like this sequel will be scraped later on but I hope not.

Fr
The TRI wizard won’t make any sense to happen rn because of the lore
Love your ideas!! I wish the school kids would react to my character!! And that I could cast spells on them. They feel so empty and lifeless.
The open world has a lot of quests and puzzles, but I would add a whole lot more monsters to fight and ingredients to collect. I feel too safe out there.
@@theguyspodcast5782 please explain
@@LaCeiba1924 thanks! they really do and it takes away from the immersion
I can't not agree more than that.
They need a system where your actions ripple throughout the game and alteres your Arc
Live service is just objectively stupid. Why do I need to be online to play a singleplayer game? How dumb do these execs have to be to even consider it? I swear they have no common sense
Exactly how Suicide Squad flopped. If it's actually a live service game, it'd ruin it.
They have cabbage for brains. Rotten cabbage.
That's why I pirate it, I already bought it but downloaded it from another place lmao
The problem is they don’t care if the game is good they just want as much money as possible.
They want the GTA model
I’d love to be able to customise dormitories - they’re pretty much unused rooms after the first introduction, especially after accessing the Room of Requirement. Customise them and have mini quests or games set there. Imagine setting up inventions like the Weasley twins’ jokes etc or creating sweets, spells, or even planning scavenger hunts for younger students, using spells you unlock. And NPC interaction choices affecting storylines going forward. More potions and plants! And your own pet that aids you in your quests, provides magical ingredients but interacts with you like a normal pet.
Omg I was JUST saying that in my comment. Especially because at the end of the game, there’s NOTHING ELSE to spend gold on since I bought everything
I hope they have more random interactions. I wish we can cast spells for mundane things or to prank classmates
Hi Everyone,
I’m a big fan of the Wizarding World from Sweden and I would love to share my ideas for the upcoming sequal!
I would also wish for:
- More spells: Not only usefull ones.
Love all that, clearly you put a good amount of thought in
@@Business101HQThank you so much! Yes I sure did😊I’m as I mentioned a big fan of the Wizarding World!
I like that honestly, the feeling of being a simple student in a magical world, I would love more grounded stuff
“Sebastian Swallow” 😂 I think you meant Sallow
Lmaoo
I was really hoping for more classroom experiences
if it is in 1891 hope to see a 1 year albus dumbleodre he went to schoole that year
Mind blown 🤯
@ it’s been a while since I played it thru so I’ll take ur word for it, but I hope u understand what I mean, it makes sense to use something like that to take us to Azkaban, dragon ally should be somewhere we go early game, maybe return later to pick up supplies for something, the ministry we could go with Anne to fight for Sebastian or something, the only school I think that would make sense is the African one, the video he says he wants to visit other schools, my biggest point about my comment was that we don’t need to do that with so much local to hogwarts to visit first, maybe the 3rd/final game we could visit a different school, or meet someone from one, that could lead into the next game with different plot at a completely different school… that’s just me tho, I like games to have great stories, not big open worlds just because there is a big open world 🤷♂️😊🍻
I don’t know, Ilvermorney school is pretty cool and kind of modeled after hogwarts!
Imagine a quest when we are called to attend the trial at ministry of magic as a witness, answering questions as we tried to defend him but at the end we saw Sebastian being dragged into Azkaban and we later learn patronus charm to rescue him
Then we save Ann from her illness
We didnt have enough closure and happy ending on HL 1
Avalanche Software made Hogwarts Legacy, not Avalanche Studios - the makers of HL had nothing to do with Just Cause/Mad Max. They are two completely different studios.
It's insane the amount of misinformation he is feeding to the people. First he says portkey games made the game then avalanche studios. Just wow. And I'm only one minute into the video lol
Yeah he messed up here lol.
Please pin this.
I was just looking through the comments to find this one before I commented it myself. DRIVING ME CRAZY with the misinformation.
Here's my full wishlist!
-QUIDDITCH please it's a crime for a HP game not to have Quidditch - idc if the world is smaller, just include Quidditch
-More main quests in the castle, HL 1 barely felt like I was a student bc I had to spend so much time outside the castle
-More classes (maybe even a weekly schedule) and more gameplay in them
-Chamber of Secrets!
-Yule Ball
-Permanent duelling club!
-Romance options
-House point count visible in the Entrance Hall sandglasses, and House Cup competition where we can earn points for our house!!
-HP characters, at least ones that fit the timeline like Tom Riddle and Dumbledore
-Be able to sit on chairs, benches, couches in the castle and lay down in our bed instead of sleeping on the floor next to it lol
-Many more students in the Great Hall at mealtimes, in common rooms and especially in our dormitory at night, they feel empty
-To have to go to the Great Hall (or our dorm) to receive owls, or at least see our owl swooping in to give us a letter
-Clock icon that shows in-game time, it's hard to estimate the length of day/night
-For the areas patrolled by prefects at night during a quest to continue to be patrolled in normal gameplay, it doesn't make sense otherwise
-More quests as a trio with 2 other characters (like the ones with Sebastian and Ominis!)
-Ability to brew and use Polyjuice Potion to get into other common rooms
-For the Grand Staircase stairs to actually move like in the old PC games, not just appear/disappear
-For the rare game events to happen a bit less rarely (Hogwarts Express, giant squid etc). I get that they're rare but I've played 50+ hours and still haven't seen any.
-Be able to buy things from classic Hogsmeade stores like Honeydukes and Zonko's
-Be able to interact with more objects in the castle than just spinning globes, e.g. casting leviosa on benches and slamming them into students like in the old PC games (my favorite pastime)
-Patronus Charm!
Hogwarts legacy 2 franchising our hogsmeade shop hiring more house elves, a goblin bookkeeper (maybe that guy from the intro we disturbed from a nap). We need a diagon alley location...
A huge thing they could add are....MUGGLES! I want to interact with...and bewitch a muggle.
Yes 😂😂😂
maybe you can mess around in the muggle world with magic, but get in trouble with the ministry of magic if you get caught. forgetfulness magic, illusion charms, and shenanigans adding a stealth/secrecy element.
Should be doable... I mean just copy any of the vampire the masquerade games and use the masquerade system. @@megazord8672
I hope to god they don’t rush production I want it to be perfect , I’ll wait 5 years if I have too
Same.
Careful. They may go full Bethesda and take 20 years between installments.
1. Online mode
2. ( Kind of a continuation) I want to eat at the great hall, take actual classes, not just short cutscenes, but at least 5 - 10 minute classes with my friends and play Quidditch.
3. A deeper morality system. I want my bad choices to affect how people view me and react, I want my choices to affect my relationships and possibly even have wizards and witches hunt me ( kind of like bounty hunters from RDR2 )
4. More spells
5. More friendships/ relationships. Sebastian, Natty and Poppy were cool. But I want more characters to interact with and even date, especially since our characters will be older.
I think that’s it
Keep in mind I wrote this before watching the video lol
this is literally all i want as well
Know about the room filled with wands & wand handles? I want that room to be where you have WAYY more customizable handles, colors.
Also I want more focus and definition on the wand as im using it. I'm tired of barely seeing any detail or color change in my wand.
More outfits
Flying mini dragons for sale that are ur pet. Like the scene in the Goblet of fire, where the contestants were blindly picking small dragons for the event.
More spells, higher level npc dark witches & wizards
I want to be able to read new news papers everyday if possible from the stand in hogsmeade.
More brooms & entire customizable brooms
I want them to give abilitie base on your wand core. I was disappointed that my wand was only cosmetic.
My hope is that we get a unique skill tree for each house . This would greatly add to the overall replayability of Hogwarts Legacy 2. It just makes sense to go this route as some houses are better at certain things , and rewarding the player with special house perks only makes sense.
I hope for new spells and new adventures
Definitely will be a new adventure
If anything we'll get both in the definitive edition next year

All I want is to romance Sebastian. 😭 I want all the cozy things that come with Hogwarts. Sleeping in my dorm at night, choosing a pet, eating with my friends in the great hall, etc. But please, please. We just need the romance option.
I want the Chamber of Secrets and the shrieking shack. I want connection to the movies. Give us a goblin of fire tournament
Bro butchering all names.
🤣
I just want to be able to sit down in my room of requirement. Maybe even show friends around. Ability to buy and sell items in knockturn alley would also be fun if you chose the darker path. More backstory on our character. And the amount of Merlin trials has got to go like yesterday.
If it is a prequel to the HBO series then maybe the morality system will involve Tom Riddle and Dumbledore, that would be cool.
Honestly I kinda want a romance or date option for the game. Nothing major it's just getting a girlfriend is always a nice spice to a games story.
Definitely not. We don’t need a dating sim. Go on a date for that.
If I could have it in a perfect world
House Point System
Quiddich
Morality System
More engaging classwork
Less friendly dialogue
Maayybbee Multiplayer, even if its limited to Quiddich
Otherwise, this game is everything I could want already from the universe.
I dont understand how a sequel works, a lot of choices you make through out the first game makes the ending different for other players. So whats cannon?
"10-15 hours of DLC" = 2 hours of main questing with 50 new side quests, also they make you do 10 side quests between each main mission
Avalanche Software, not Avalanche Studios. So around 0:51 is incorrect information
I wouldnt hate a multiplayer live service hogwarts legacy game, but it needs to be a stand alone mmo
here is what the sequel needs:
1)dark/light wizard path depends on houses and choices,
2) no trans or pc bs
3) immersive sleeping, eating, sitting, classes,
4) accurate lore for the young and adults.
5) diagon ally, having your own vault that fills up the more money u have,
6) own businesses
7) if u can be a dark lord make a crew system or nemesis system,
8) own a mansion or house,
9) custom heritage,
10) dark corruption deformities,if u go dark path.
11) death eater flying,
12) own a pet,
13) jail/arrest system,
14) dark wizard clothing style that’s not a dlc,
15) horucroxes,
16) no merlin trials or pointless puzzles
17) quidditch cup
18) custom appearance for character and wand at any time,
19) map that stretch beyond borders of hogwarts and out,
20) train travel,
21) if character can be dark lord we need physical dark corruption,
22) teleportation.
23) rideable dragons,
24) wizard wars.
As long as hogwarts legacy 2 isn’t a full live service game because that could ruin it live service elements like u said yes it also needs to be set into the 6th year
2:08 A series?! No way! That's fantastic.
I just want to battle my friends and then I’m happy
They should cut the open world map in half and use the extra space to create more corridors and secret passages in Hogwarts. They need to make more of the story based in Hogwarts.
The smooth performance of Boosteroid is a breath of fresh air
It would be cool too be able too look at other schools
they should do the twi-wizard tournament in the next game
maybe can expand to other parts of the timeline, you can have post harry potter world where you try to free magical creatures from wizarding rule. this world was sort of focused on the goblin rebellions, which was being taught in harry's wizarding class as magical history, but that thread never resolved since even during harry potters life, magical creatures were still banned from carrying wands and were second class citizens.
Let us have a community to battle amongst ourselves like the old wizard 101
I love it I friggin love it! Avalanche please give us some sort of shop where we can spend our gold and maybe decorate our dormitories. By the end of the game I have like 50k gold and I’ve already bought EVERYTHING
I want to be able to buy a shop and do secondary missions to supply my shop. In Diagon Alley giving my gold thats built up more use. Thank you
Dude, Hogwarts Legacy was made by Avalanche Software, which is a different company from Avalanche Studios. Avalanche Software's first blockbuster game was Hogwarts Legacy.
did they ever do any pvp elements in this game? pvp would be dope
I would love to play around the time of Voldemort's time at the school. That would be wild to see what stories could be told when hes there.
There needs to be karma/honor with storylines for each.
In the second one you should be old enough for the tri wizard tournament
Warner Bros have already had a live service game in Harry Potter Magic Awakened. They managed it terribly and we were charged significantly more for in game purchases than the players on the CN/TW servers. They shut down the global server without any warning. Everyone on the global servers all lost our accounts. Luckily we were transferred to the Asian servers ran by Netease. I’d never trust Warner Bros to run a live service game ever again.
They have a lot of work to do the hp universe is big and they definetely need to work on taking advantage of next gen and multiplayer content to actually continue the life span of the series
Give us option if we wanna play co-op or not.
Would love for them to add the goblet of fire, would be dope to be a Triwizard Champion
would love to go explore one of the other schools.
Have something where you find a rocket broom and you can fly into space.
This pc only?
If they go the ESO way then it will absolutely work as live service of sorts.
0% chance they do any new maps lol. It’s WB… ur getting hogwarts again with a slightly bigger map and a few more Easter eggs
I hope there is a feature that lets us change the season after the final story. I just think hogwarts looks best in Christmas.
I know there's all this before Harry Potter thing. But what about after Harry Potter? I'd be curious to see what Hogwarts looks like after Harry Potter.
If HL2 winds up being live service, i hope it horribly fails. Even then, the execs wouldn't care and still try for more live service BS
Combat on brooms?
quidditch, companions up to 2 slots, interactive NPCs and classes, interactive objects - i just wanted to lie down not through a mod; killable charlotte 😂, more spells and beasts, azkaban expansion, anne's cure, option to turn on moral laws so i wont be tempted to AK every tedious enemies
8:00 Should be also in Poland. Imagine that castle from Malbork. (The biggest castle in europe)
My dream is Triwizard Tournament 🤩
"They have a cave troll"
Boromir.
Each house should have a different missions along with different stories
honestly, if it's not focused on school life, I might not even buy HL 2... I'm a huge hp fan and HL is amazing but I couldn't get very much engaged with it, I'm still at 10%, so if it's more of the same, I don't think I'll bother
I want a baldurs gate style game where I can play in a golden trio / quartet with my friends!
how could it be set in the 6th school year if its set before the hbo series?
Wrong piece of information 0:58. There are 2 Avalanche developer studios, Avalanche Studios are the guys that made Just Cause, and Avalanche Software made Disney Infinity, Cars 2 the game and other small projects. Hogwarts Legacy was made by Avalanche Software, not Avalanche Studios. Just to clear it up! :)
Landing is unavailable
Put it online and open it up like GTA w/ multiplayer, and add a moral system
I hope they make the npcs more interactive with the character and world and I hope it’s more enemies. And speaking of npc…can they at least react or be harmed when getting blasted by a wand attack in Hogwarts Legacy 2. Idk why but I feel like this sequel will be scraped later on but I hope not.
I hope we get beter character creation and infinite new game plus mode as well even with definitive edition next year
That would be nice if Hogwarts changes each year it’s supposed too.
6:53 lmfao 💀🤦🏽♂️ *Sallow
Shame we can’t participate in the TriWizard Tournament within the story.
Give me mermaids, more centaur interactions, diagon alley, and HARRY POTTER expansion!!!
Do you know when the dlc comes out?
They haven't announced a release date yet.
@ thx
They need an online map !!
