hi just replaced my iPhone 6 Plus to 1Phone 15 Plus I have a MacBook Pro Mid 2012 which doesn't have USB-C cable inlet, would either of your two non connect methods work on my older Macbook Pro? Purchased an as new i15 Plus online & did not realise when purchasing the differences in cable connections. Unless there may be an adapter? I can successfully transfer photos from my iPhone 6 Plus by cable but have not tried the other two methods. Appreciate video, thankyou ! also any idea's in advance :) as to how I can still continue to transfer photos.
if you're using a 3rd party cable, it might not support data transferring. if you're sure your cable can transfer data, try restarting your Mac (that's what I did)
I lost so many valuable photos and videos because of the crappy ways of apple transfer systems. It is so easy with PC just plag the cable select the media drag and drop. apple sucs with data transfer
when I connected the cable...After importing all the photos and videos some pictures and videos are missing to show in mac. Does anyone know solution to this? Even in image capture app the same picture and videos are missing. There are 837 videos but in my mac photos there is only 819 videos

I see airdrop on the laptop, where did you get the application, The app store does not sell it.
What if you want to import them but delete some after the import?

I'm an extremely technically sound person and I agree. The workflow is built terribly.
