This played on auto play while I slept and I had a dream about being a little person just living in the apocalypse. I had a little compost, zombie neighbor who gave me carrots, and fed a dog lettuce every once in a while. Good dreams haha

I realized what makes your 100 day videos better than everyone else’s; you actually give a step by step, action by action, description of each and everyday, it really adds to the depth and quality of the video
This is what a 100 days of Stardew Valley played by an experienced person would sound like from days 2-4 if they weren't playing casually
"Day 2, I watered my crops, then I got a fishing rod and fished the rest of the day
Day 3, It rained, so I caught some catfish while fishing the whole day because I don't
Day 4, It was sunny, so I had to water my crops, Then I spent the rest of the day of fishing while waiting for the mine to open"
idk abt u but i wouldnt want to hear a very detailed explanation of "I spent the entire day fishing"

The only reason i love watching your 100 days videos is because unlike other videos yours genuinely feel like your learning the game with us its a little fast paced and difficult to keep up with but its still heaps better

Thanks to discovering your 100 days video for this, I finally got around to finishing this game despite owning it for ages. So thanks for that!
One bug to take advantage of if you're up for it. When your inventory starts to get cluttered with things you cannot sell, but also can't throw away, like extra tools, armor, etc. Take them to the dungeon, and leave them on one of the interactable shelves. They will be deleted from the game when you leave.
Note, do NOT do this with important or plot items, as they will also be deleted with no way to get them back, but for some items, like extra bags, the aforementioned gear, and other such things that serve no purpose anymore, it can free up some inventory space without cluttering a random container somewhere.

I remember finding this series 3 months ago and I really hoped that they will continue and here I am a little bit too late for the party but still. I'm really excited to see full story.
This might be the wrong video to comment on because I don't know if you will ever see it, but I have a GREAT game recommend for one of your 100 Days playthroughs. Its called "This War of Mine" and is a fantastic 2D survival/crafting game. Its also one of the only video games ever put on a required reading list in Europe, haha!

wonder if there is a way to repair the broken soul bridge on the east side of the map? (or maybe that's a future DLC that needs a lot of those collected healed souls you have laying around in storage to build a glowy soul jar to replace the smashed one in the artifact cutscene to activate the bridge.)

Honestly, due to how tied into the other stories the Game of Crone is, forcing you to almost finish two of the six main character's plots(technically 4 by how intertwined some are) to get to the point of making your choice, none of the options are particularly strong.
For those curious, the other two are, for turning in Beatrice AND the camp, you get a 30% boost to your faith gain from sermons(there are a few other ways to gain faith, but they're rare and not very strong anyway). Again, it's so late in the game that it really doesn't matter that much, as you'd already likely done all the things you wanted/needed to do with faith anyway.
And for the other, saying no to her and saving the camp you instead get a constant 1 per second regeneration to your energy, meaning you basically no longer need food items save for doing energy intensive tasks, like using certain work stations, which, if you have Breaking Dead, might already have zombies at them.
And of course, he went with helping her, which gets you a .2 bonus to almost all item creations star levels. Of course, thanks to when this happens, only one quest will still need a star level that's affected by this, and the only item that you might need for just general use are marble busts...which you can easily use a sermon to get the .2 anyway to max that out on its own.
Still nice to have the choice, BTW, as it's one of the few times you do get an option, and I personally think the energy regen is the best of the three. Faith, as I said, stops being hard to come by about halfway through the game. Meanwhile, the boost to making things is too small to really be that useful, especially if you have Breaking Dead and thus none of the things you MIGHT want to use it for are all that hard to just make more with.
Meanwhile the Energy Regen will serve you better if you're trying to make maxed out the graveyard(basically the only thing left to do by this point), as the steps to make those use energy at JUST the right rate where you typically won't run out(maxing organs with better save soul, switching them out, and making marble grave items)
An absorbing game, all around, and a good design ethos behind it. Hoping for a sequel.

The Zombies are from Breaking Dead. There's no real story content with that one, save on conversation, it's just the zombies that automate things.
The room with the soul devices that allow him to remove them and gain extra currencies with them in the form of gratitude and sin shards is Better Save Soul. It has a minor story, but nothing really heavy, and is more about the mechanical benefits it adds, allowing you to max out corpses to either make your graveyard great, or make 65% efficient zombies.
The tavern is Stranger Sins, that one tells the tale of how all this begins via the machine and its flashbacks, showing the origin for the world and the society that loves here.
And the Refugee Camp is Game of Crone, with it having the only story that is in the present, when the camp, as well as explaining to you what the Great Blast was, both where it came from and why, as well as why everyone has such a negative reaction to it.

@@Rath760 All of them add something that players found lacking in the base game mechanically, Breaking Dead automates things, Better Save Soul takes some of the RNG away from waiting for good body parts, since you only get bodies every once in a while, Stranger Sins adds a good way to passively gain money(especially when mixed with Breaking Dead and gold star wine), and Game of Crone gives someone making various food items once you've set up the farms for the refugees, as well as that final bonus.
I will say, I played with them all, and found the experience enjoyable, and they do expand on the game. As he lays out in this video, the game, in base, is all about the Keeper and his desire to get home, he rarely engages with the people around him if they can't help in that capacity, and so he never actually learns anything about the world that isn't going on right now.
Stranger Sins and Game of Crone add to the story by filling in some of the past you skipped in the main game, in some interesting ways too. Heck, Stranger Sins, when finished, allows you to talk to some characters(Barkeep and his wife, witch in the swamp, and blacksmith), and find out things about the prior Graveyard Keepers. Not important stuff, but still, neat.
Breaking Dead is purely mechanical, and Better Save Soul HAS a story, but it is minor and unimportant, just there for the setup.
That's just so you know what each does, I'd say grab them all if you can.

Games as gorgeous as this remind me how silly the idea that 3D is a superior graphics style really is. Both are capable of brilliant games and wonderful graphics. It's all a matter of what works for what the designers want to do. And I'll take fantastic 2D sprite graphics like this over poorly done 3D any day. Even 3D Graphics Appreciation Day!

Don't buy it. Seriously, all the 3 hours are edited down from probably hundreds of hours of the game and grinding.
The game has too much grind - it's fun and fine at first, but after a while it becomes a fucking pain to play. Don't. Buy Stardew Valley instead.

I watched all three, but im watching this because its great
Between this video teaching me a lot on what to do and not to do at the start and learning myself by playing with all the DLC enabled I have a few suggestions for people at the start. I know you can't get upgrades till you unlock the church or clearing the underground using a lot or resources but getting the church means the donkey will require carrots for him to deliver bodies and I feel I made more money off bodies than I did with the church since you get a body every day or two (varies) and church starts you at a low amount of gold without upgrades.
I suggest using all your money on farming early, I focused carrots a little too hard but was still able to earn enough money to quick start my progress. I still don't understand the better save soul DLC but the wall crematoriums made getting rid of bodies so easy and I still get burial certs.
Also by rushing to get zombies up and running I found they aren't really that worth the effort to rush if you don't spend time figuring out how to get more white skulls on them. Took a lot of trial and error but I have a lot of meat and good organs on shelves to get higher effeciency bodies working for me. The bad organs I burned till I found out I needed them for alchemy but it's all you can do in the beginning anyways.
I don't know when you should open of the church honestly, I just suggest getting a healthy farm and a lot of seeds for healthy income. I'm probably exaggerating the issue but there is way too much to do when starting the game.
