I just prepared two hot dogs just now in the air fryer with your help! I experimented with piercing one of the weiners with a fork, and then the other carefully cutting with a knife. Both came out great! I trick I learned a similar air fryer hot dog video is to put cheese inside the bun for a cheesy inside. I was shocked at how quickly you can make these hot dogs. I just did these for lunch, and I even added the suggestion I saw for cheese. Toasted cheese dogs with ketchup, kind of a creamy tomato sort of taste. Great stuff. Pretty much brand new to airfrying, and and on a major budget-- so this was a huge help. Thanks a whole lot for making stuff like this available.

Nice! This is what I made tonight for dinner snack. I forgot to put fork holes and yes it did explode a little bit. But now I know: 400 degrees F for 4 minutes, then another 2 minutes with the bun. Great!

Thanks for the idea - I'll add fried bologna on the "to-do" list for future videos :) Try air frying it at 350F for 5 minutes
You can also use foil under them to save on clean up :) .

Lady Melanie, wrote your directions down a long time ago, but recently could NOT remember where I put that little piece of paper? 😮💨 So... today I "re-watched" your excellent instructional video, & then I wrote it down again + TAPED it onto my pantry door! Funny thing though, when I watched again, I noticed that when you started out, there was just a little bit of a breeze in the background of your filming-location? And THEN.... at the 1:25 minute mark, holy MOLY! You had a full-on case of hurricane-force winds going on! 😅 Um, it was either that, OR your backyard area is directly behind some big airplane running up it's engines to full power? 😂 But I don't think it was "aircraft-wind" cuz of it had been, you would have had DIRT + other debris blowing + landing on top of you & your work-site. 🤣
Lol the airport is pretty far from us, just a regular wind in a windy city of Chicago! 🤣
