Ok, firstly: I truly enjoyed the video. The editing is hilariously epic! Secondly: I cannot believe you used a single button looper live. That's just insanity!

Definitely use that riff for a new song, sounds fantastic!
Humbled by your talent. Eager to learn from your experience. And able due to videos like these. You and your music are a gift, many thanks from a neighbor across the pond ✊🏻🌌🌅
Hi Mike! (Excellent name!) I’m new to your channel and am so glad the good folks at Boss (and my research of their killer gear) has lead me to your channel. Now thanks to you, I’ve just got to get my mitts on the RC-500 and the OC-5. Anyhow, I look forward to more superb videos! God bless ya man!
Yes any riff, any chord, any tap, any harmonic, and so on and so on, please record...brilliant! Oh, and please come to the Pacific Northwest, Seattle area preferably, when you joyfully hit the road once again:-) Cheers
Two things really stand out in the Background: the rick toone guitar is epic and empty beer bottles really tell the story of a musician during lockdown 😄 love everything you do mike!
Wow I enjoyed your video Mike! God bless you and make more beautiful music and will continue to watch you're new shows and compositions I learned a lot from you especially using the OC-5. SEE YOU AND MORE POWER MIKE! ❤ FRON THE PHILIPPINES
I’ve been thinking of getting a looper for a while, as a live performance tool (mostly so I don’t get bored playing for people who are there to drink and not interact with me). I’ve not considered how I could use it as a composition tool. Thank you for the inspiration!
what a freakin awesome dude. on top of the mind-blowing talent, I just need this character in my life, he's reality-enhancing. Patreon bound. thanks, Mike! xxBuzz
I've been toying with the idea of buying this as it looks a ton of fun. I think this is the green light I need to go buy it! :p great video Mike, love the tune you were able to develop with the pedal :)
I love your work and I am a up and coming live looper I've put my rc 505 and rc202 and rc 500 and midi them together and u can only guess how much fun that can be
Love your work Mike and, yes, dig that piece you wrote. The opening notes reminded me of "Summer Breeze," by Seals and Croft. Play it for your mum, she'll know. ;-) Cheers mate.
I like your calm cool presentation. I've been on the fence a long time about getting a loop pedal and which one might work for me. Seeing someone with your playing style and ability to compose such beautiful music is a great help in the search for the right pedal. I'm still looking for a video that points out the ease of use. I'm a musician not a technician so that part is just as important to me.Thanks for the video and the wonderful music.
That needs a full song. No doubt. Love your talent and humor. Yeah I tried the new ditto plus with the lcd screen and dub stretching gimmick. You can’t do past one dub because it lags a quarter beat or so at the beginning of the second dub. Unusable piece of trash. That boss looks awesome but the original ditto is what the budget prefers. When I’m big lol I can get it.
Use the riff. Immediate gut reaction of it, is that it felt like Nuno Bettencourt meets John Butler. Feels new, but made me feel nostalgic at the same time.
5:49 I never felt like this before. I never felt so much soft honey pouring down my ears in my life. That was exquisite and perfect. One of those delicious moments you remember in your last minutes before dying.
Great stuff, v useful, your video clinched it for me so bought one, though currently I'm about like the guy smacking the piano with his Les Paul copy as he goes down.
The Rocky bit is one of the funniest things I've seen this year. The Ed Sheeran bubble and tiny hand also had me laughing out loud. Very funny stuff! I'm late to the party and looking at serious loopers. Any thoughts on the RC-600 now that it's available?
Hi Mike I love your review but in particular your drop B tuning! I would love to learn the chords and fingerstyle loop you play, it would be perfect for a song of yours but also for a tutorial here on your channel that I just discovered! Thanks
Well done Video! For the Song at the end you're showing an octaver pedal. I am wondering if you are achieving this gorgeous sound made of deep bass notes mixed with finger picked arpeggiated tones (in their original octave sound) by THIS Pedal? I mean, are you playing everything one can hear live, or is there already a previously saved loop playing?
7:18 if you don't use that riff! I'll steal it and turn it in a horrible pop / metal / rap / jazz/ country / fusion crossover song! Can't wait to hear what you do with it! :D
Are you An english man your accents seems to be, i appreciate you the way you play guitar different technical methods Amazing you got extraordinary talents thank you by good by.
i seen a digitech or a TC helicon pedal. it might even been a boss. & a lady was able to loop & build up a nice instrument backing track with bass, rythm guitar, and some gain/delay riffs, that sounded great in the mix. and she had other different effects added in the mix ie: chrous, reverb, ect. as needed. then she went on to start building a vocal grouping of some backup singers harmonizing some ohh' and ah la la's. then she saved that as the chrous of the song saved it, and built a similar but more gentle verse grouping and then she belted out some lead vocals & some kick ass lead guitar..in a call/ respond style... my question is what units do that wide of range of processing, it had what seemed to me to be everything you'd need. and will this boss rc500 handle vocal processing that does more than , mic an amp or an acoustic guitar. ? i see it has an XLR . but almost nobody talks about it.
the little minifingers are just gold
🤣🤣🤣

Hi Mike, love your content, I live in Bristol btw, dont suppose your going to be playing here anytime soon? :)
Mike, you are a legend of the game. This video is a real beauty.
This is gold!!!
Your quickly becoming one of my most enjoyed video creators, Mike. The hand finger had me in stitches. And then a rocky montage! I needed a montage.
Everyone needs a montage
@@mikedawesofficial mantage
LOL The rocky montage got me.
Picked up my guitar right away to play although it's 3 AM here. Gonna cover "that" riff.
Ok, firstly: I truly enjoyed the video. The editing is hilariously epic! Secondly: I cannot believe you used a single button looper live. That's just insanity!
Definitely use that riff for a new song, sounds fantastic!
That guy falling off the chair is absolute gold. Makes me LOL every time.

Mike: several bits are tune worthy. Could listen to that style of playing all day. Thanks!
I cannot believe you tap danced that stuff live, serious Kudos Mike.
That track is a keeper in my world! Well done, as always. Carry on!
I've been using Loopers for ages. It is incredibly freeing and makes it easy to get the creative juices flowing. Thanks 😎
Amazing Mike, thanks for all the insight. Rocky and Apollo dancing in the ocean is just icing on the cake... :)

That progression you came up with there... is pure GOLD!
My friend your music is magic. Love your generosity with your knowledge and creations. Thank you

The name of your new song is : Liquid Rain Dance
Loved watching your method of constructing your music. Makes me happy.

dude you have a very impressive way to play the guitar! Very melodic and harmonic well done!
I love how good you are and hate it at the same time. Also I have this pedal . Love this video. Very helpful
Beautiful sounds 😩🙌🏾
LOVE your composition
OMG the arrangement is sooooooooo good definitely use it
Thanks for this. Not really a fingerstylist but play almost exclusively acoustic.
Riff reminded me of Listen to your heart - Roxette -- You should definitely use it in a future medley. gorgeous tone
I've recently got the same loop pedal, and took a similar approach to mike's! awesome pedal.
Love your work Mike and, yes, dig that piece you wrote. The opening notes reminded me of "Summer Breeze," by Seals and Croft. Play it for your mum, she'll know. ;-) Cheers mate.

Thanks, I must admit it's pretty damn fun! Still finding colours tricky as I'm colourblind ha
@@mikedawesofficial keep it up man, you wouldn't tell you were colourblind from watching this 👌
@@mikedawesofficial make everything with an ‘orange and teal’ filter. Worked for Michael bay for a bit
Great demo Mike
Just got the rc-10r!
Use the riff.
Immediate gut reaction of it, is that it felt like Nuno Bettencourt meets John Butler. Feels new, but made me feel nostalgic at the same time.
Damn!!, the sound quality 🤯
i love that Riff man! Use it ... Great sound
How lucky is the guitar to be played by mik
5:49 I never felt like this before. I never felt so much soft honey pouring down my ears in my life. That was exquisite and perfect. One of those delicious moments you remember in your last minutes before dying.
Absolutely use that melody in a song. It sounds amazing. Scrub yourself of that self doubt and build on that.
Wonderful riff! If you don't use that in a tune, that'd really be a shame.
4:34 starts answering question posed in thumbnail
Thanks so much for sharing …. Keep on
Dosent matter the pedal u use....it sounds good because u know the DNA of the guitar:)
Man I hope you're able to hit New England when touring starts again...
Yeah you should turn that into a full song
Great stuff, v useful, your video clinched it for me so bought one, though currently I'm about like the guy smacking the piano with his Les Paul copy as he goes down.
That riff! 💗
Can you do a video for a pedalboard setup for the acoustic guitarists who want to setup a pedalboard?
What a savage, this sounds so beautiful! 😍😍
Great review! Super funny! Thanks 🙏🏼
