I feel like Scotty wanted to buy Keebler Soft Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies to make his sandwiches, but the writers told him that he needed to make his own cookies.
I always love, when the level 1s just use a store bought product for one of the aspects, so that you have the level 2 and 3 going through an entire big process with many ingredients and wait times and you have that interspersed with shots of the level 1 just unpacking the thing they bought. Flawless comedy.
glad you brought scotty in, all the other level 1s were getting too good lol -- store bought ice cream and cookie dough is exactly what I expect from a level 1 lol
I’d love to see the level 1 chefs do a cook off against each other with the same dish, almost like a “4 levels”. Same applies with level 2 and 3, please make it happen.
Ok I gotta admit, as much as I love all the level 1 chefs it's nice to see one who seems to legitimately be a novice. Like at this point Emily's technically level 2, she's just in level 1 because she's slapping things together like she would on tuesday afternoon. Her own show proves she likes cooking and is pretty good when she wants to be. Scotty seems like he would only bother with all this if he's trying to impress someone or taking something to a family gathering, which I appreciate since most of us also just buy these from a store.
why would they not go together? bananas and peanuts (peanutbutter) is a thing, bananas and chocolate is a thing, and peanuts and chocolate is a thing. they’re all things so why can’t they go together?
Frank nailed the biscuit, but Anthony's toppings & ice cream were on point. So many ideas now tumbling around the old brain pan. A million thanks for the ideas and have a champion day.
I love Scotty, seems like he’s making a snack for Netflix and chilling at home. Just enough to impress someone but not so much that you can’t put it together inebriated 😂
Yeah. Fully arranged, Scotty's is the only one I'd actually eat, since I'm allergic to peanuts, and hate pistachios. Frank's would be awesome without peanuts in the praline, though!
Some say that Scotty doesn't know and that we shouldn't tell Scotty, but Scotty definitely knows... he knows better than all of us. Rock on Scotty! 🤘👨🎤🤘
Wow, what a great episode. I have been waiting for more ice cream episodes. All three chef's were great, but I wish there was more time with Dr. Rosemary Trout. She was fantastic and very interesting. Excellent work Epicurious!
Hear me out, I'm a big fan of a half baked cookie for my ice cream sandwiches. That way it's easier to bite through. Back when I did culinary in school, I made a pistachio cookie and a lavender ice-cream.
@@cosmin1574 It's a personality almost all passionate chefs share. It's like yeah, we can be simple when we are just feeling lazy, but sometimes if we got the time and energy, well, it's very easy to just go nuts with our food. Like last night I was almost just gonna eat some spam with rice and call it a night, but then I got a surge of energy and ended up making spam fried rice topped with fried garlic chips and a fried egg, and a quick homemade chili oil.
aw why Frank so modest? we all know his real intro goes something like “ im Frank Proto and ive been a chef since the early afternoon of time - now let me show you what I can do with this thing called salt I created …”
i don't want to say this but, 7 months ago in 3 levels of lamb chop video, Frank said that his experience was 24 years, but today he says he has 27 years of experience. I hope he counts 2 months as a years, and if you note the previous videos 7 months earlier, he says it's 21😅. This secretly reveals that I'm addicted to this channel🥰, and Frank is just a masterpiece of cooking era🙃
I'm glad to see Frank back after taking several months to raise his own cattle and milk them for the cream.
😂😂😂
😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Also he was busy growing his own bananas and distilling his own brandy

oddly specific
level .5 Chef.
this is so specific, yet hilarious
😂😂 yeah, Because if did buy one he'll just skip everything and just go with the assembly and done

Scotty is legit just all of us when we pretend to bake and be on a baking show

literally
He cute as hell, though. Haha
No, I actually have a decent personality.
@@MrSinister718 Doesn't sound like you do.

Right that’s what I’d do
In reality most level 1 will just go and buy premade ice cream sandwich(no klondike bar though).
Insert Stephen, he's not really getting any better.
I’m going to make a homemade lollipop. *peels wrapper off a store bought lollipop*
I’d love to see the level 1 chefs do a cook off against each other with the same dish, almost like a “4 levels”. Same applies with level 2 and 3, please make it happen.
That's the Graduation Challenge XD When a chef has potential to step up a level, they duel
Yes their different takes would be interesting with a same level of techniques
Emily's been sandbagging. She'd clean up.
I was just thinking the same thing. That'd be amazing.
My thoughts exactly, Mystic.

Anthony is me talking to my appliances while cooking.
Shhh, hush little ice cream maker.
Omg same 😂
Anthony killed it this episode. Those look phenomenal.
I'm disappointed to not see Stephen use an entire cheesecake to make cookies.
Or see Emily use ketchup.
Or see Penny use booze.
@@trevorpacelli8056 but atleast I can see Frank making homemade ice cream sandwich from scratch
Same thing I thought
Chef frank is an expert to say peanuts, banana and fudge goes well together.
Everything goes together as long as you like them together.

I missed this pink shirted guy haha. Love the guys who made this show awesome!
He has his own UA-cam channel ua-cam.com/users/AnthonyLeDonne
@@grizzlednerd4521 yeah I know I subscribed there too
I was looking this comment. I missed him too.
I was scrolling through all these comments wondering why no one was excited for Pink Shirt Guy like I was 😂
Yes! Saw him after so long! He is good.
That Level 1 chef had a confidence I aspire to in my entire life.
This looks like a Grandfather vs Dad vs Son ice cream sandwich recipe lol
Why is this so accurate? 😅
I saw Frank and came rushing in...I figured he would be growing his own vanilla bean to flavor the ice cream
That would take up to 3 to 12 years for vanilla orchids to produce vanilla seed pods
Oh and him growing cattle for the freshest cream lmao
Scotty makes Emily look like a Level 999999999 chef.
I’m thinking that Emily will be dipping her Ice Cream Sandwich in a Ketchup.. 😂😂

So nice to see Anthony again; it feels like it's been a while. I'm 100% trying that pistachio topping.
I'm sure Penny would've added like trice the amount of brandy than Frank did.
Bless her immortal soul 🙏🏽
@@princeLaharl2 …wait did something happen to Alcoholic Penny?
Hey, pink shirt guy is back! It’s been awhile since we saw him last. And of course, it’s always great to see Frank in a video.
Level 2 Chef looks like a Chick-fil-A manager. Making the ice cream sandwiches was his pleasure
Scotty is the perfect representation of most of us
I really liked Anthony and his recipe. Scotty did fine for his level too.
I wish the food scientist did a blind taste test.
YES! And It would cool if they all tasted each other's treats and commented.
Frank: First, we will plant some wheat for the cookie dough, and raise this calf to full milk production.
😂
I'm not a fan of these new people
These type of frank comments are my favorite
I like how all of them placed the sandwiches similarly at the end
Have Scotty come on more often. He is the representation of an actual level 1. Edit: his does actually look good ngl
Love how Scotty is explaining his steps
I would like Anthony’s brown butter cookie recipe. I love brown butter!
You can brown the butter of any cookie recipe that calls for melted butter.
Not gonna lie...I love Scotty's sandwiches. Easy 👏 and 👏 delicious 👏

Right?! :)

Pink shirt guy's back!
And Frank too
I was thinking Scotty gonna finish the episode with the store bought ice cream and Oreo for a moment.
Anthony cooking is always such a joy to watch
Pink Shirt Guy!
Seeing Frank overfill the waffle maker makes me feel like he's still a human on our level

I thought the level 1 chef will at least make the cookies from scratch but he surprised me by also using the store bought cookie dough 🤣
If he's like most of us, he probably would have just bought pre-made cookies.

Quite a while since I've been completely blown away by the Level 3 dish..
Its so nice to see anthony still doing this when he can I love him in the older vids
Ah looks like Frank is back from milking the cows, getting the eggs from his chickens, and milling the flour he needs to make this.
