I'm a 2D fan, do you think Superstars is worth it if I can get a $40 or so sale?

My opinion on the game has waned a bit since it came out. Yes I think Superstars is worth it if you can get it on sale. Otherwise, not worth 60 bucks.

Im playing through S3&K rn, (On an Original Genesis, on an old CRT) and I can say myself, its great.
