20 years feels like the sentence for a “physician” who shouldn’t have been practicing, did it anyway, she died, but he called authorities… NOT for someone who killed someone then stuffed her in a suitcase AND buried her under cement. This is heartbreaking. That poor family of that poor young lady.
I am terrified to think that someone who clearly doesn’t have consideration for what someone else’s life is, could be out in a few years likely deceiving yet again.
So tragic.

Agree with you very frustrating that to think he could do it again if given the opportunity if they let him out for good behavior and being a good role model prisoner let go very early as time served. But if he gets clean from drugs he would not have to think of ways and get rich quick schemes to fuel his drug addictions

Cases involving fake physicians are so scary. We normally visit doctors because we want to do the right thing, take care of ourselves and in some situations, we trust them with our lives. It’s frightening to consider that there are people like Dean acting as physicians.
Side note- I also got lost in Newark once, it was brutal!🤣😣😓 I sympathize with the driver…

There are also some real doctors that have gone over the edge, but no one on the staff says anything, so they are still practicing until a catastrophe happens to a patient.

@@rullmourn1142 My physician thought that he could handle my uterine deformity, until he made a hash of it. Lucky for him that I delivered a healthy boy. Hope the stupid surgeon is retired or dead by now.

The Jeep Cherokee thing made me LOL. I remember this case and how horrifying it was that he could have saved her but he would have been found out as a fake doctor so he decided to just let her die. This is sociopathy and evil! So scary that these monsters walk amongst us.
It's even more disgusting how this sick society doesn't deal effectively with the monsters. 20 years?

OMG I remember this case. One of my friends (who lived in the same building as me) was a massage therapist for Dean Faiello who would actually come to his apartment for the massages. I remember he was freaking out when news came out that he had killed a young woman since he used to have him in his apartment on a weekly basis. I also started to check all my doctors credentials more carefully after this story broke out.
Thanks for sharing that story. So scary. It brings it home when you know someone involved. You are right to check the credentials, partic. those who are independent. People should have checked Dr Harold Shipman's credentials too.
My daily routine starts with watching Dr Grande "speculating about what could be happening in a situation like this". More therapeutic than doing meditation
I do both. I’m very serious about taking my meds ever since I forgot them once ahead of a particularly stressful shift (the second half of a 16-hour shift). The next week on that shift my coworkers commented that I looked like I wanted to kill someone without my meds. Whoopsies.

I remember this case, the victim was Filipino, so there was a lot of coverage of this in local Philippine news. I remember video clips of her elderly father wearing a placard of her missing person's photo/information. Heartbreaking.
This degenerate was awful in every area of his life.
Yet he was actually highly successful in laser hair removal! If he had been mentally more stable he was on track to be pretty well off! Might have even been able to move out of NJ!🤔

The arrogance, apathy, audacity and lack of empathy for other human beings people who fake things like being a doctor possess is terrifying.
Your videos are so informative and relaxing. I watch them while nursing my baby; he falls right to sleep, and I get to watch content I’m interested in, without all the loudness and distractions to him lol. Even when you tell a joke, your tone stays the same and calm. It’s seriously the best content for my specific situation 😂

I remember watching something a long time ago on Maria. They had the ATM footage of her withdrawal. I remember them saying she had a dermatologist appointment and was last seen walking in that direction. I don't think police thought that anything would have happened to her at an appointment and thought she had been kidnapped......I'm also an owner of a late 90s jeep Cherokee 😂😂😂😂 I'm lucky it's not my only means of transportation 😂😂

I got a shot of novocaine when I was 7 and had a bad reaction in the middle of the night. Subsequent doctors were surprised to hear this, because this allergy isn't common. I had to get intradermal testing to find something I could tolerate which was 3 percent carbocainne. Ever trying cocaine was out of the question.
I lived in NJ for over 43 years…I didn’t have to pump my own gas.

You can rent it out as a brush hog, alternative transportation, or for children's parties ...he can pop balloons by stamping on them ...you can make him a member of your soccer team...you can give him some paint and a large canvas and sell the artwork...lots of things.

I've never been to New Jersey but I've been to enough states to know that they all have their crappy parts!
My sister lived and worked in north New Jersey for many years. One of the places she lived at was next door to a nature preserve, and she'd get bears passing through her backyard. There is definitely some great nature to be had in NJ- forests, farmland, beautiful beaches. Much more than the stereotypical "Jersey Shore" stuff from TV. Although that is definitely there as well.😂

I've only ever hear someone say it like that "Oh I'll teach you a lesson, but good!" "Oh you made me mad but good!" Etc. Lol I've never heard this phrasing used anywhere but on The Goldberg's, so I was just wondering. I'm from Utah though, born and raised, so maybe it's just something people say more Back East?

Like most others in this comment thread I'm a big fan of Dr Grande. I like true crime stories. But many spin the story out interminably. To fit a time slot, commercials etc so I come away annoyed that it has taken so long, so many talking heads, so much padding and fill. Dr Grande is perfect: succinct, insightful, keeps on point and has a wonderful dry, wry sense of humour. I almost want to visit New Jersey now to see its horribleness first hand.
New Jersey is not horrible. But Dr. G's comments about it are tiring. if it keeps haters out of New Jersey, then good.

I met Dean Faiello in the late 90s when he was dating a dear friend who was in some Broadway shows. Dean was very charming, handsome and charismatic. He has a great sense of humor. We talked and he told me he was an aesthetician and was going to start his own business doing electrolysis and facials. At this point he didn't claim he was a Dr. I liked him. I worked at a company that had printed items, and even got him my employee discount on some pens he had printed with his business name and phone number. I like him and was happy my friend had great boyfriend. I was so shocked and horrified when I learned a few years later what he had done. He was very convincing and fooled a lot of people. Including me.

Have you ever covered the case of Martha Ann and Bob McClancy (also with Chuck Kaczmarczyk)? I think there are multiple places to find information but the intriguing aspect is how elaborate and pervasive their fraudulent behaviors were before getting caught.
With his frequent mockery of New Jersey, Dr. Grande makes me recall Gilda Radner’s SNL correspondent, Roseanne Roseannadanna, who hated New Jersey as much as him.

Love the Jersey humor, Grande. This is such an interesting video. I’ve listened to it/watched it a number of times. Reason to not answer “too good to be true” ads. Better to research options and pay for the best when it comes to medical treatments.
I can't imagine having an injection of Lidocaine in my tongue, prepping it for electrolysis. How does electrolysis work on one's tongue? Doesn't sound like it would. The brazen gall of Faiello is very frightening. As someone else commented, cases of fake doctors are particularly chilling.
