There was an episode of the television show Perry Mason, which aired in 1959 that featured a very young child shooting his father, because his father regularly permitted the child to play with his gun. Specifically, it's S2E27, "The Case of The Deadly Toy".
Perhaps that's where she got her inspiration?

RIGHT?? He is the absolute BEST, in several ways in my opinion! I love how he boils down and summarizes just the most relevant, "need-to-know" info on any given case, then he lays it out clearly, and gives a very well thought out Analysis. It's great, the format- esp. for people who don't have time to watch long documentaries etc. But my FAVORITE thing about his videos, like you, is that witty, sarcastic, sometimes even dark deadpan humor delivered with a completely straight face just like the other information he is relaying. I've never quite seen humor done this exact way, and I find it GENIUS! 😂 Glad there are many out there who appreciate the good Dr. and his brilliant, very unique humor style!! ✌️💖

This reminds me that there is a lot to learn from fiction. Agatha Christie used to often say that 'murder becomes a habit' and it gets easier once an individual crosses the line. I have never heard of Sharon Kinne, but I honestly think she may be a perfect example of how murder can become so easy once an individual crosses the line.

Yea, I had that experience ... with a flock of green parrots that were invading my small almond orchard.
I threw a mechanics wrench at them one time to scare them off, but hit one and broke its wing. In great remorse, took it to a vet who charged $50, but could not save the bird. Relieved of my guilt, I then bought a bb pistol and dispatched about 5 pesky birds that summer.
Unfortunately, I never was able to completely discourage the flock from invading my trees. This was all many years ago; the trees ( and parrots ) are long gone now.

In Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria and other countries, the philosophy of the law holds that it is human nature to want to escape. In those countries, escapees who do not break any other laws are not charged, and no extra time is added to their sentence.

    • @justinoz1526
      @justinoz1526 2 роки тому +7

@NoName99 NoFace88 But couldn't the reverse also be argued? If there is no punishment for attempting escape then trying to escape carries no risk, so why not try if the opportunity arises? I assume they don't punish unsuccessful attempts if they don't punish successful ones. I'd also be interested to know if authorities are held to a higher degree of responsibility for escapees if they have the philosophy of acknowledging it is human nature to want to escape.

Hi Dr. Grande! Thank you for presenting the case of Sharon Kinnee I think she was a cold-hearted serial killer with no remorse. Hard understand how a woman could be so cruel? I agree with you that she likely bribed a guard to escape the Mexican prison. I got stopped by a police officer in Mexico 🇲🇽 for driving the wrong way on a 1-way street. He allowed me to get out of the ticket for $50 in cash. He then cleared the roadway for me to head back to the USA. Great customer service 👍

It would make sense that an American woman who was familiar with the LDS would hide out in southern Alberta. There is a large LDS community there. I should point out that Ireland and France will not hand over an American killer unless the US government will guaranteed in writing that they will not execute the person. Canada does not have the death penalty but they have no such law. If an American serial killer is caught in Canada they could hand that person over even if it means that he/she will be executed.

Dr Grande: "I think she really made a *positive impression* on the jury. One juror even asked for her autograph." ;D I feel her aura in court could have been overpowering for that period in time! The Mexican jail house was 'rocked' (?) most probably by design too? In her 30s then, she possibly mapped out her life to live a Mexican native ranch life. Another great and interesting case Dr. G! 💖👍 It's crazy how some people have no problem just killing people who are inconvenient to them or in their way, etc. She could've divorced her husband, moved on with her life. Instead she had no problem killing 4 people over pettiness and jealousy, or them just getting in her way. Thanks for another intriguing case of a women with a clearly twisted mind! LOVE Dr. Grande and his videos, such a highlight to my Day!! 💖🤓💕🌵🥰

Back in 1976/77 I was in an old time store building with my 2 year old. I was speaking with the owner as we prepared to leave, standing next to the old cabinet where they'd kept the till for checkout. My baby said something and when I looked down she was holding a pistol in both hands pointed directly at my head.

Love the shade on the Mexican prison system. I don't think she lived too long after escaping. I think she met someone who unceremoniously outfoxed her in the gunhandling department. So she is long gone.

Hello Dr. Grande, I have to start with "Out of the running for the safe parent of the year award" So funny, but back to the case, I viewed this video as kind of complex. A lot of court appearances with no results, the killing of Francisco Ordonez, shooting the employee, and saying she thought he was attacking her as well. All are suspicious actions. And like Rejane said, a bonus listening to 2 videos in one day is great. Best Regards. ❤👍

Hey Dr. Grande, I am always curious about the children of these career criminals. What happens to them? It seems like most of the women you report on are popping out kids right and left. What happens to them? These women are cruel and harmful to their children.

I think it’s been made into a mini-crime series and on a crime series that aired on the ID channel. I can’t think of the name of the show but I will edit when I can remember the name. I’ve always thought it would be a good movie as well and the screen writer could use his/her imagination regarding her life after the (so-called escaped), they could actually have maybe two different endings as dream sequences. It’s truly fascinating and I myself think she didn’t die young but probably married and just lived out her new life. I read somewhere that her family raised all three of her children, that’s horrible to be a child and know your mother never truly loved you. I think she was not capable of feeling deep love or any type of emotions other than very shallowly.

This would certainly be a great movie. I can see it as a streaming mini-series, too. It's got all the streaming bullet points: Attractive true-story lead character...Easily divided up into chapters/episodes with the murders/trials.....Period piece... Exotic locations toward the end (Mexico and South America).

Very interesting story and again, Dr. Grande delivers a great narrative! As for what became of Sharon Kinne, well I recall reading that FBI had 'credible' evidence that she had gone south and entered Guatemala by 1975. That was apparetnly the last 'hit'...if that is in fact true. Her case was presented on Unsolved Mysteries, hosted by Robert Stack, back in the 1990s. Personally, I think Sharon Kinne died many years ago.
