I feel bad for the animators that likely have that last scene burnt into their minds as they probably spent hours upon hours working on it, it's so cursed
That's what makes it so awesome though. It's so gratuitous for such a ridiculous length of time that it wraps back around to being funny. I can't believe that a film team could be so audacious...
@@trequor it’s not funny though just weird and a bit traumatizing 💀
@@multijxde1855 Even that is proof of this film's artistic value. Weird and traumatizing emotions are just as valid as responses to art as anything else.

Their fault for not checking the rating. It was as simple as that
Joke's on you, I'm a connoisseur of CGI movies.
I almost went to see it but my mom realized it was rated R.... I was to young to comprehend that it was inappropriate so I got really mad at her😂
Back in 1992, I begged my Mom to take me to see Cool World. She refused, said it was inappropriate, because she did her research on it before taking me. She's a great Mom.
So it stuns me that parents actually took their damn kids to see this, despite the trailer featuring characters being butchered painfully.
Back when I was a kid my mom would take me to see horror movies all the time and said if I was a bad child that would happen to me, now I'm a good person(ish)

The worst part for me is actually the antagonist. You know you rarely meet any r*pist antagonist and it kinda trigger my trauma tbh. I didn't know it'd be that bad.
If you’re that sensitive why’d you even watch this movie
@@rouge939 "You rarely meet any r*pist antagonist."
Does... Does that not explain it? They clearly weren't expecting the movie to go from sex jokes to intense dark humour. And it doesn't exactly warn you of that, does it?
@@persassyjackson1688 the whole movie is dark humor. Seth Rogen has a rape joke in like every movie I’ve seen from him. Plus you can look up the parents guide on IMDB to see what a movie has beforehand
@@rouge939 Hence why I said "intense" dark humour. And so what if Seth Rogen has jokes like that "in like every movie" you've seen him in? They're still vile and the kind of joke most people don't like lmao; most people don't know that he's got a lot of those jokes in his movies, if that's even true, and that... isn't exactly relevant anyway. Plus, the 'IMDB guide' isn't exactly going to say "Yeah, there's a pretty graphic r*pe scene... Maybe give this one a miss?".
@@persassyjackson1688 actually that’s exactly what it does. It breaks down what’s in the movie like swearing, violence, nudity etc. I don’t even like Seth Rogen but if you’re so sensitive and offended easily why the fuck would you watch a movie where even the title is a dick joke
When this movie came out, my brother hated it. Not because he didn't like it. Not at all. It was because he was working at a movie theater at the time. And guess who had to deal with all the angry entitled karens who bought tickets for their families, despite multiple heads up from my brother and his fellow co-workers and the big fat R rating on the signs, asking for refunds and/or threatening to sue them for selling them tickets for an R rated film to families. So dumb.
Shouldn't that lead to hating the customers not the movie itself?
I bet something like this happened to some people who worked at a movie theater when the South Park movie came out.
@@sugarkats21 Trust me, as a former theater employee of 5 years, you learn to hate customers fairly quickly. However, there are movies that absolutely destroy theatres and attract certain demographics (like families with young children - who specifically trash theatres the most). That can lead to employees learning to hate certain movies, or even movie genres, for the pure fact that 99.99% of the time you can predict how busy and dirty everything will be.
P.S. don't work at the theatres. Not a good job.
Those customers are idiots and they probably didn’t watch the trailer

I wouldn't blame the movie so much as the heavily censored media that's pushing society to the far left trying to force everyone to believe that things can be funny if they're rude/offensive. I find the frequent swearing and sex jokes to be rather grating myself, but there are still some pretty decent racist/stereotype jokes. He’s what a real bully is and it’s a chilling villain . The final battle and kitchen scene where also good ,

I regret sneaking out of my room in 3rd grade to watch this when my mom was watching in with her boyfriend at the time 😳
So now you are... twelve-thirteen?
@@stinkydinkleson thirteen 😎
I remember seeing this and after my parents saw the ending they said” we’re never letting you watch it again”
Wait did he monotize the unmonotizable? HE IS THE CHOSEN ONE (TwitchTV/Blue sushi)
I literally just called him a legend in his last community post.
Yt thought he is reviewing a childrens film
Amazing
bruv u can tell how much energy this took
Lol mdr ptdr xD ptdr svp
My dad bought this from a man who sold
movie dvds at a chinese food restaurant.
I felt so unholy after watching it.
Sounds like the start of a creepy pasta
Honestly that sounds like the appropriate way to buy this movie

IN HORROR *screaming child sound* and I was traumatized for the *boom* rest *boom but again* of my *boom but again again* LIFE”
@@stinkydinkleson Oh god, the Instagram comedian boom sound effect terrified me
Cool 🤣🤣
Fun fact: my old library teacher got cool math games blocked at our school because they had ads for this movie
me and my family almost went to see the movie, but my mom and my ant saw the trailer and they said, hell no
"If you really want the full experience of course, you should watch the movie."
Don't... even joke about that
Alot people are saying "as a kid" it was only 4 years ago
they are children.
for the record 4 years ago i was like 12 so its understandable...i was considerably confused why my dad was like "noooo no you canNOT see that" when we saw the trailer
I was 15 (19 now). I fucking hated this movie lmao. My boyfriend at the time tried to get me to watch it with him. I only watched clips, and yeah, I don't know why the fuck he wanted me to watch it.
Lmao fr... like can you be "a kid" if the movie was made 4 years ago? makes no sense at all...
@@maddiewhatever441 You aight?
I didn’t realize I had a comfort zone until I saw this movie. While it’s something that makes you question why on gods earth was this made, and why this is passed off as a movie is mind boggling to me. This movie can’t even be called a movie, it’s just too much. It’s best that Sausage Party is left forgotten, and never mentioned again.
This was one of those movies you wanted out of morbid curiosity when it came out, but really have no desire to ever see it again
My teacher opened this in class thinking it was a children movie
Really???
Bruhhhhh.
Must’ve been an experience
And that's the story of how a teacher single handedly destroyed an entire class's innocence
BRUH!
*What I like about Sausage Party:*
-The animation is uniquely dark yet cartoonish and still manages to hold up in quality. Something I wish I can see more of in today's Hollywood.
-The voice acting is pretty good. Even Seth Rogan does a decent job.
-The character designs are creative and memorable for the most part.
-The visual gags and food puns are hilarious.
-The music (despite lack there of) is quite catchy.
-There are a good handful of scenes I find myself revisiting because of the visuals and line delivery.
*What I hate about Sausage Party:*
-The directors are despicable.
-The animators were treated poorly and most of them weren't given credit for working on the film including the Vancouver film students they resorted in abusing.
-There were constant disputes taken place during the making of the film.
-The violent, sexual, and overly edgy humour is a bit too much for me at times (and that's coming from someone who enjoys South Park) but that's more of a matter of taste.
-I hated the trailers and the marketing for the movie.
-Despite the movie being heavily rated R, moronic patents still took their children to go see the movie without watching trailers or reading the synopsis on it beforehand thus most likely scarring their kids for life.
-There are a lot of plot elements that don't make sense within this world of talking food products. If the humans can't see the food walking or talking (unless they're high), then what do they see when a jar of honey mustard jumps out of a grocery cart and a hotdog tries to save him? What are the rules for what can and can't be sentient? This might just be nitpicking at this point but it's something that I find too distracting when watching.
I used to hate the idea of this movie but slowly grew to like it the more I explored it. I do wish that there were more adult animated movies being released today that didn't have to resort to excessive raunchy humor though. And for any that are possibly in the making, I hope they don't follow the same horrible methods Sausage Party used to be brought into theatres.
The main reason why I disliked this movie is because it felt like a rip off of a Mexican movie that came out way before this one called “Una Pelicula de Huevos.”
Even tho they both had sexual/violent comedy, the one from Mexico did a much better job because it wasn’t extreme where they ended up having an orgy. The comedy is very Mexican based but I’m pretty sure others could appreciate it for what it is.
From what it seems like Conrad Vernon wasn’t that bad but Greg Tiernan is a piece of fucking shit
i mean if you want adult animation, anime is always an option
I only read a couple sentences but I'm giving u a like for ur effort
@@anjanakumar3825 Anime IS always the choice
I walked in on my younger sister watching that.... I will never forget the horror I felt in that moment...
The whole movie felt like a weird fever dream.
Sausage Party is a movie that definitely cannot come out today and it “couldn’t” come out when it came out. It was like the end of when anyone could even fathom getting away with this.
Yeah it couldn't come out today I asked Warner brothers about and they said some bullshit about "that's already a film" and "plagiarism" smh
It came out literally a few years ago dude and made a shit ton of money
I watched this movie when I was younger. I can’t decide whether I made the right decision or not
To everyone asking I was fifteen. I know it isn’t that young but I was still more immature than I am now

this movie tramatized me when i was little, my mom turned on the tv and saw a some cute talking food, so she turned it on. then she left the room to go on a phone call. i watched like half of this movie wide eyed, she came back, heard a swear. then she actually looked at it and freaked out lmao

It wasn't that bad. There were some funny jokes and it *definitely* succeeded in what it set out to do.
I mean, it’s a great move and it only proves that animated moves doesn’t have to just be use on kid’s films
