Talking about Germans being angry...
I watched this video and was like:”We’re not angry all the time!”
I took a look at my surroundings...
“Always angry? Yeah, sounds about right.”
The best part- this movie is actually a giant product placement.
It was made in cooperation with the 'europapark', which is a very popular amusement park in Germany. So the story didn't really matter, as the characters were used in a lot of short films and sold as toys. The design of the characters was good, but the only purpose of the movie was to make money out of it...

A movie about a vampire that stops time and feels like a fever dream, sounds like someone is describing the JoJo ova.
An oil tanker for you.
If I see DIO one more time I'm going to burst a vain.
@@Raccon_Detective. DIO
at 3:06 when he's face palming, dracula's hair goes through his finger...since i am, you have to be bothered by it too now
I died when Dad read one of the redbox reviews aloud before renting it: "I'm only halfway through and I'm already having to pop my zanex."
As a German, when I first watched the trailers to this I thought Hmmm okay that's a clear rip off? The plot itself kinda seemed funny even though it was clear they stole from HT
But now that you went into this oof! Actually Germany has awesome voice actors and are very unique but in this movie, they don't use one of these rather well known VA's and eh, yes it sounds stiff to me.
This is actually not a rip off in anyway.
It is based on a german book.
Just both stories are based on the Universal Monster thing.
@@ArnLPs I know a lot of German books, this is unfamiliar to me.
But to say it how I mean it, the designs are far too similar to those of Hotel Transylvania, like this Illumination Pixar Rip Off, the skills some characters have etc.
Not entirely the story per se, but there are things being a little in common to me
@@Sally.C Ever heard of "Mieses Karma"? It's from the same author. The books aren't classics or anything, but they sold very well for a short period of time.
And the designs being similar just ends at them being cartoon versions of the classic Monsters, so I don't get it.
@@Sally.C :D A lot of German books sounds a bit like : There are only a few books from Germany ou there :D Which is quite funny
@@ArnLPs don't disagree with you but it's just my personal view I assume. I really got intense HT vibes from the trailer
My grandma took me to see this movie and when the dad farted in the movie these little kids were laughing so hard it was annoying.
Yum
Bruh why’re bagging on kids laughing at a kids movie?
Wait it was in theaters
I can't say it's not normal for kids.
But it's a kids movie, what did you expect? No laughing from minors?
I forgot I saw this movie in theaters
Waste of money lol
I'm from germany and I can say 2 things:
1. No, in germany, we don't fight constantly
2. Yes, the voiceacting in the german version is terrible too
The way he said the word "epitome" in the intro really threw me for a loop
Me too! Definitely mispronounced it. (Uh-pit-uh-me) I think it's something like that anyhow.

You should do a movie called "The Tale of Despereaux". I just remembered it. I remember liking it as a kid. Maybe you will?
Thank you for reminding me the name of this movie, god the nostalgia
Oh yeah...
I remember that, it’s also a book.
I remember really loving the book as a kid and not liking the movie for the changes they made. I'm sure the movie is fine, though, for a kids film
Holy crap the soup rat!
I remember us reading that book in school and my church having a plush of him! I have absolutely no memories of what happened in the book or movie though
10:59 I’m honestly surprised nobody brought up Jetpack Dracula

I thought no one would ever know about this movie outside of Germany.
I love how the crowd at 9:07 is pretty much Clone Wars. The dude with glasses and pointy hair appears like 7 times there.
I mean, I know nobody's gonna model a bunch of unique characters just for a 3 second crowd scene but come on, they but the exact same model of a bearded dude in a black crew neck twice at the very front xD
@@zosiag8208 why am I laughing at this HELP😭
It’s based on a book named „Happy Family“ by a german author named David Safier. (I’m from Austria and read the book in german.) The book is actually really funny and charming. (I haven’t seen the movie, but from what I have seen from this movie in your video, it’s NOTHING like the book!!)
Yeah, i read that book too, when i was a kid sadly...
Read the Book, watched the Movie and gotta say, it's noooothing like the book, it's nice seeing the characters from the book come to life, the rest is like a fanfiction to the book.
literally any ripoff
hippity-hoppity this movie is now my property
Design of Troublemaker Studios movie?
Yes, we all know what a knock off is
For some reason it gives me Scary Godmother vibes.. But that movie actually flows well enough.
The suit that he was wearing is actually a suit that protects him from the sun. Although, here’s a fun fact: The original Dracula never burns when he goes out into the sun.
Wait, really?
@@ContagiousSponge Yeah, if you look at Jon Solo’s video on vampires, he’ll tell you about the mythology that surrounds the topic
All Dracula needs is to yell “Za Warldo” and then he’d be Dio. You cannot tell me I’m wrong. Not because he’s a vampire, but because she’s a vampire that stops time.
This wouldn’t even be the plot of a Simpsons Treehouse of Horror Special.
Lol I watched this movie a few weeks ago on Netflix and was so confused on everything probably because I fell asleep through most of the movie
