As someone with bile acid malabsorbtion who has had 100% explosive watery-poops for over 10 years straight, I can say it *definitely* wreaks havoc on your bottom end. Luckily I just booked an appt last week to get hemorrhoid banding. Yay for me. Also got a prescription for Cholestyramine to finally end this decades long diarrhea issue.
Hi Scarlett! 👋 (fun to find another Scarlett!) I had diarrhea with nearly every period of my life when I was younger (not as bad these days in my 40s). Way too much time on the toilet.... I think that combined with two childbirth is the culprit.
literally just did. I am 2 hours away from my home at my dads, and it happened to me. I have no way of going ti a doctor to figure this out, so i have to wait 2 days till i go home to my mom. I have chronic constipation, so it makes me think if this actually helps with my constipation, or just hell.

What about going through a colonoscopy prep that will specifically cause watery stools? What if someone has a external hemorrhoid but unfortunately is also required to have a colonoscopy for their 5 year check up due to a direct parent having colon cancer. Should that person try to put off the colonoscopy due to the prep or do you have any recommendations on advice that could help keep the anal area calmed down during the prep or any specific prep more then the other?
Watched this video days ago when I had watery poop, the things I did were exercise (didn't work), after that I drank prebiotics (worked for like half day, then I came back to watery pooping with a vengeance), lastly I did 15hr fasting cuz I read somewhere it could be SIBO but I did not go to the hospital for this diagnosis so chances are it could be wrong. Anyway, the fasting kind of worked? I'm half a day into not visiting the toilet now

But then got stopped up and used 3 Ducolax at once, like a month ago. After that cleared everything out, it just seems I'm on ducolax constantly, though not taking any further. Soft to watery. I needed help, love this channel, but don't see many answers for my own situation. I will try the fasting. I thought it might be irritant from too much Dr. Thunder Soda.
