once you finish watching the web series you need to watch the tv show. It's basically this but each episode is 30 minutes long and it leans more towards comedy
-Yellow guy's dad's name is Roy btw. And no, it is that simple. Red is spaghetti creature, Yellow is yellow puppet, Duck is the bird
-The singers in every episode are called "teachers", and this one is fan favorite Tony the clock

Episode 1 was the most tame. it doesn't bode well. I can't wait 'til he gets to episode 5.
That clock is called Tony and he's a Tumblr sexy man other winners of this award include Sans from Undertale, Lucifer Morningstar King Dice and Nagito Komaeda

Basically: If it doesn't look hot = it is hot. Also most tumblr users are kids.
Looking at those two episodes alone, there isn't enough to make too many theories. The main takeaway is that each episode features a so-called teacher that force a world view on the main characters: the notebook is very restrictive on what is considered creative or not.
And Tony the clock teaches them about time with some weird "opinions", like bath time means you HAVE to bathe (even though you're already clean) and that the olden times are bad and don't matter ("stuff from the past went into a mystery"). He also believes the future and its technology are what truly matters: When Yellow Guys sees a dead man, Tony says "But look: Computers!" And then, when they all ask too many questions, he interrupts them with the alarm and makes them rot. Aside from being implied that he's the one making them rot, he even rocks the chair Duck guy sits in while rotting.
I think 2 and 3 are the creepiest but also have the most catchy songs.
But well done for persisting as it's definitely got some disturbing imagery.
I hope you get to the channel 4 series as it's so well done with some of the funniest parts.
It also has plenty of British comedic actors in small roles.
I can think of at least 5, all of which oincidentally have appeared on Taskmaster.
The internet is a great place for creepy stuff, even outside creepy pasta. This series is very similar to an internet phenomenon called ARGs (Alternate Reality Game). They often are UA-cam videos of the genre 'analog horror' and seem relatively normal at first, but there is always some deeper mystery that gets explored the more it goes on. But it goes further than that: If DHMIS was an ARG, the show they wanted to watch would be hidden somewhere on UA-cam and would give hints to the lore, maybe then there's also a website about the show where you can find hidden messages of people begging the notebook to let them out of that TV show or something. The ones I last explored are 'This house has people in it' , a "lost game" called 'Catastophe Crow' and a series called "Project Earth" (all can be found on UA-cam if you wanna check them out). And there are ARGs way more creepy than the ones I mentioned. Channels like "Inside A Mind" and "Night Mind" explore and explain ARGs then, really interesting and creepy stuff

i think it's june 19th because the videos takes place on the same day (at least the ones on youtube). In episode one the characters are having breakfast, in this they are watching a morning show, in the next one they will be having lunch
