There's actually a double theory about "19/06/55"
- First, and probably the most obvious, is it's a date when something important happened. From what I understand, that was the day a specific law was made regarding what was allowed on television. When you're done with the series, definitely check out the Film Theory videos.
- Second, is it's the characters ages. Red guy is 19, Yellow guy is 6, and Duck is 55
So excited for you to get round to the channel 4 show. In my opinion what it loses in the creepiness it hugely makes up for by being way funnier.
Once you finish the series you should watch the Film Theory videos on the hidden meaning of the whole thing. Same with the Channel 4 series.

This one is genuinely good and funny,
I know that part 4 is generally considered the better one,
But as you said, coming of the back of Time, this one is quite refreshing.
I do think part 5 is the weakest of the originals,
But they all have their place.
I mean. The horrible part is that the strapped Yellow down and brain washed him, and him and the butterfly seem to have had some messed up hybrid child in that egg, which Duck swatted as it called for it's father (Yellow).
Also Michael lives on his own underground and has no special one.
