I was surprised to find I liked every single one of them for different reasons. I like Duck cause he's the most skeptical of the group, and often gets some of the funniest jokes, and seems the least likely to go along with the random NPC of the day's BS. He's a real free thinker with a bit of a arrogant fiery side to him that causes him to often be the most aggressive out of the three, but also makes him come across quite confident in himself and usually the most clever and quick to pick up that something's wrong, other than maybe the rare instance of Yellow with a proper battery. He's also rather stubborn, and stuck in his ways, making him come across as though he's the oldest of the three like an old dog that has trouble learning new tricks. Out of the four humors he very much fits the Choleric temperament. I like Red because he's the most cynical one of the the group, often kind of bored of things, but also quite capable of getting wrapped up in what's going on. He's like that teenager that just hasn't figured out what he wants in life yet. He can be snarky, but there's a sense at the core that he's just curious, and feels trapped in this endless cycle that befalls all the characters. Behind all his cynicism there's an idealist that really wants to burst out of there. He also seems a bit like the mediator between the two, not being as impulsive or mean as duck can be while not being as big of a pushover as yellow. This often makes him come across as the most grounded of the three. He very much fits in with the Melancholic temperament of the four humors. I like Yellow because he's the most empathetic in the group, and often just wants to learn new things, and be kind to others, and because such he's usually the one that gets the blunt of the problems from the random npc's that show up. I like that even when he got smarter in episode 6, it didn't make him a crueler person like often becomes a trope in media. He was still disgusted by things like them experimenting on the blob thing. He's like this pure childlike soul that's clearly the emotional core of the group. He most closely fits in with the Sanguine temperament though also shows signs of being a bit Phlegmatic, especially when he has a good battery. The fact that each one fits in to the four humors shows how such ancient character types are still beloved to this day.

@ 19:33 on the blackboard behind the man there is a scribbled out clayhill, you can't see all of it but it's still a cool Easter egg, probably their way of saying they won't release the pilot
Same goes for 15:32 where Clay Hill "doesnt exist anymore" In a lecture on the 20th on september Becky and Joe explained how they cant release the pilot because they dont own the rights to it. That and none of the people that saw it seemed to like it, as it was too much like a formulaic sitcom like family guy and missed the creepy and claustrophobic feel.
In the episode about family where the twins shove the thought bubble of Roy into the trash can claiming he's not a family made me laugh so hard the first time I watched it and it made me so happy to see Roy come back and cannibalize the twins and their family to save yellow guy
3 BEST DHMIS SCENES: 1. 'And we live in an actual NIGHTMAA--'' 2. That one fight scene between the 3 (y'know which one :D) 3. Wholesome moment between Duck and Red Guy in Episode 6.
I appreciate that Roy did save Yellow Guy from the family in episode three. While we may not know if his intentions are good or ill, he did at least save him, which is good.
They needed yellow guy to act as mother so that they can eat. The only reason Roy came in to "save" yellow was just bc he's a bad family member too and is also selfish, so he starts feasting with the rest of the bad family members not caring about his son but only for himself
I really love the new series. Most of what’s really great about the new Dhmis has already been said or shown but the main reason for me is that with the old one, it was more about making the viewer uncomfortable while drawing them into its extensive lore, while the new one is more like a show just made for pure viewer enjoyment, like how a good portion of the characters portray traits that would seem “relatable” to the viewer. In short, funni puppet show go brrrrr.
17:16 i love that moment, when Red Guy realises they are in a loop no matter what they end up in the same home like if nothing happen,he desperately tries to get away, get away as much as he can,i really like that part
I just noticed that the GPS had a location called Cay Hill on it which was the location of the Wakey Wakey series that was scrapped. the GPS even added "sorry, that place doesn't exist anymore". I have a feeling that this episode was supposed to be the pilot for Wakey Wakey. Red Guy even behaves differently here
Its a solid theory, but we already have info on what the original pilot was about based on test screenings. It was going to be more based in references current events such as vaping and political conflict, in which the mayor of Clay Hill goes missing and Duck replaces him.
10:29 there are ten asterisks. He said there was a hyphen in his name. If you consider yellow-guy, its also ten characters long. His name may actually be yellow guy

"im the dad, hes the pet"
_yellow guy slightly nods_
18:29- trust me it’s my favorite line red guy has ever said lol
What'de hell are you gonna do with them????????
"My hand! ... My child"
This whole affair goes places, man. It goes places!
"I can't help you BYE!!!" one of the best lines from the series
This world is so dysfunctional that to us Duck, The Red Guy, and The Yellow Guy are the perfect examples of a “functional” family.
I love the foreshadowing when yellow guy looks in the car window and he sees smart him
I love that red now has more emotion than just 😐
@ 19:33 on the blackboard behind the man there is a scribbled out clayhill, you can't see all of it but it's still a cool Easter egg, probably their way of saying they won't release the pilot
Same goes for 15:32 where Clay Hill "doesnt exist anymore"
In a lecture on the 20th on september Becky and Joe explained how they cant release the pilot because they dont own the rights to it. That and none of the people that saw it seemed to like it, as it was too much like a formulaic sitcom like family guy and missed the creepy and claustrophobic feel.
11:29 the way Warren says it is so funny for some reason
✨ RAT EYES ✨
The Carehound is unironically such a good embodiment of corporate HR.
Honestly the humor on this was superb. I was genuinely laughing really hard watching it
“memories of him talking to me, he told me about the military”
*”they’re invincible!!”*
8:01 The bread of DHMIS 5 has got kids.
15:31 Wakey Wakey City was Destroyed!
16:27 How does Yellow dosen't recognize his father
But red guy recognized him, weird
That’s roy? He doesn’t have a beard and the mouth looks different.
@@isaiahp.4609 Maybe he put that so the characters Don't recognize him
@@raulgamundi8030 the mouth and hair color is different though, definitely doesn’t look like roy.
16:41 oh no
In the episode about family where the twins shove the thought bubble of Roy into the trash can claiming he's not a family made me laugh so hard the first time I watched it and it made me so happy to see Roy come back and cannibalize the twins and their family to save yellow guy
I dunno why but red guy yelling at the phone makes me laugh so hard 😂
3 BEST DHMIS SCENES:
1. 'And we live in an actual NIGHTMAA--''
2. That one fight scene between the 3 (y'know which one :D)
9:50
“I guess we can share”
“I W A N T T H O S E”
😂😂😂
I believe he says both not those
"I WANT BOTH!"
Fixed that for you.
Poor David (Yellow guy)
Honestly my absolute favorite part is the fight between all three in the friendship episode it was amazing
Red Guy is my favorite character now even though I’ve never seen this series before
The ending to “family” was hilarious. They did all that for two chips 🤣
WHERE DO I WATCH THE NEW SERIES PLS TWLL ME
@@catsuda1x It’s on Channel 4 in the UK

3:44 - "That's really nice"
Hey wow i didnt like that
Oh
I love it when Warren the Eagle recites his podcast and his timing is out. Very subtle. 🙂👌🏻
@@mcgfn Honestly I'm glad they went for the series we have now instead
“I mean look how excited I’m getting.”
Duck looks down, then back up.
😭😭
i thought i was the only one who noticed that 💀
15:53
10:29 there are ten asterisks. He said there was a hyphen in his name. If you consider yellow-guy, its also ten characters long. His name may actually be yellow guy
No shit
16:50 is horrifying when you see duck as a literal dog.
9:57 ducks voice is priceless 😂
16:27 anyone notice that duck lays his head on yellow guy 🥴
Yeah it so cute . they're just like best friend in that scene
@@gaxxox0317 Sure. "Best friends."
...
You didn't include the best joke
"I like my child but not as much as I like lasagne"
"How is your child?"
"Good, thank you."
"You don't have a child???"
13:02 The strut that red guy gives
the way our green man in a suit treats Duncan just cracks me up "get away from me duncan" "STOP IT" "that's not a website"
