Thank you Ryan! The bassline on Ziggy Marley's Start it Up (played by Pablo Stennent) is a good example of this - descending arpeggios during chorus (A,D), ascending arpeggios(A, G) during verse, lots of space

i play in a trio guitar bass and drums and sometimes I play bass and as a guitar player i stink at bass . I know the notes but i cant propell the band . Even in your example you sounded like a song and thats what my bass player does SOLID
