Ryan to the rescue! Was searching for ideas to do a blues shuffle and your video came up first. Still practicing with your Beginner Improvisation for Bass Players bundle and it is a great help. Thanks a bunch.

I'm gonna put this on repeat, and listen to it over and over, as I make breakfast. I, too prefer fretted notes on bass most of the time.

I'm a bass player turned guitarist and now I'm watching bass videos and I'm gonna throw this into my playing and see what happens. I love learning and incorporating to get something unique.

@@RyanMadoraMusic very groovy! Something different for my arsenal. Combined it with some hammer ons in Drop D after a dun dun-dun dun-dun dun then strum 0 hammer on 3-5 then repeat while moving it up the neck to 6-8, 8-10, 10-12. Just need it to sound darker somehow. Will figure that out tomorrow!

what a great lesson! teaching is an art form in and of itself and you got it down. very easy to understand and motivating to boot. excellent job, ryan! that Lull PBass sounds reeeeeeeaaaaallly good! did it come with the Ag pickup or did you put it in after?

Thanks so much, Keith!! I'm so glad you found this video useful and motivating! I chose to get the Aguilar 4P-60s in the bass when I purchased it, so it came that way "out of the box." That said, I've also "modded" some other bass with Aguilar pick-ups and they all sound great.

Teach walk up and downs fills, makes it less boring.
