You're more knowledgeable than you give yourself credit for man I really enjoy your videos because I land in the same spot this guy estepario is amazing and it's most amazing that in this immediate digital world you guys get us to think about the simplicity of things and you make me remember the music that I heard around my older cousins and uncles just to drive the music to whoever feels it. Thanks for your content it really gets me in a good mood when things look like shit sometimes! I enjoy your knowledge in music!! Keep the good times an nutritional content coming couse music unites!!!
What I find wild is that he is just playing the drum part of a song and still got a copyright. How good of a drummer do you have to be to be so dead on without the music and UA-cam pick it up and mute a vid. Unreal!!! UA-cam you should just give props to this guy and let the drums be heard.
20:19 I think estepario and ii from Sleep Token are the newest drummers to change the drum industry. Both are so incredible at playing things nobody else ever plays. Also Larnell Lewis. Took fusion to the next level
Money for Nothing is actually my all time favorite song. I remember singing that song from the mid 80's when it came out into the late 90's while working in a cabinet shop making custom kitchens. What makes it my all time favorite is I went from custom kitchens to now building high guitars the past 10 years so I feel like I lived the song! There is no way that you could stop me from singing that song whenever it comes on the radio and yes I only sing the original uncensored lyrics!
People refer to Van Halen using a Lamborghini because Eddie said in an interview that he owned 1972 Lamborghini Miura and he DID use the exhaust from the car in the song "Panama" during the breakdown when the lyric says "Yeah we're running a little hot tonight..." In fact if you like Van Halen at all, or just maybe don't realize how influential Eddie was for pretty much ALL music today, the Smithsonian did a fantastic interview with Eddie in 2018 that is well worth a watch.
I can tell you this this guy is the most qualified man to walk into any band and take the drummer's job from him immediately I'll put it that way I mean not to be subtle or anything
the bongo song was a drum war between a bongo guy and a drum guy it was black and white, very old and live Still searching for a copy of the variety show it was live on
there were literally tv ads on tv at Myrtle Beach saying that rock and roll was devil music or some such nonsense, that is what I recall of the hot for teacher era of my youth in the 80's
Video Killed the Radio Star was the first video on MtV. Great video, man. Loved it. This is the first time I've ever hear anyone say "Hot for the teacher". As dumb and unreasonable as it sounds, it actually made me angry. Lol. I kept thinking, bro, we LIVED in that moment... why are you saying THE?! Lmao. Sorry. Haha. Love the video, brother. Jorge is by far the greatest drummer to ever live. Technically speaking, there's never been better. Not sure about a contributor in a band setting, but I know that technically, there's no one that can do what he does. He's perfected the drums, literally.
Man, you can catch me on the Metallica fan site. I went to the free Philly Flyers parking lot. 40,000 people shoulder to shoulder. Bad ass concert. Matter a fact long time fan. I loved it.
Here's a fun fact for you did you know that Ringo Starr was on shining Time station and so was George Carlin two people I would never think in my life that would be on a PBS program but they did it and I loved it as a kid absolutely loved it I couldn't get enough of it as a kid
Let's not forget Mario Duplantier as well, he was probably infuenced by people like Carey or Peart, if I had to guess. Like, his isolated drum tracks don't seem to make a whole lot of sense, but they're always awesome, and fit so damned well with the rest of Gojira as a whole. If you haven't checked out some of his stuff, you definitely should
Your having too much fun man 🥃lol. Another fun reaction. I actually wish some songs weren’t played on the radio so much. Because regardless of weather or not it’s a good song it can get ruined for people. Even though thanks to the damn radio 🙄you know most songs like the back of your hand.
El Estepario Siberiano DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO READ MUSIC!!! What blows me away is that he can replicate these amazing and complicated intros WITHOUT THE SHEET MUSIC! AHHHHHHHHH
Damn okay so the blur song I really thought for a second it was Alice in chains is there for a second I really thought it was really Alice in chains no excuses
I always assumed that the start of the intro to Eyeless was sourced from Amen Break by the Winstons from 1969. But as neither of you two experts caught that, I am sure I am wrong XD And now I am not sure anymore. It's in a lot of dnb. Edit: And yes omg, Dire straits is my favorite band. And money for nothing is among the very bottom for me too.
When I watched his video none of the audio clips were cut out. Weird about the audio cut though because he didn’t use any recordings. It was just him playing short drum parts. Even if he had used the recorded audio, the clips are short enough to avoid copyright. This is just YT over-reaching.
Yassssss we got our Dei in thank God for The Gat band yaaaaaaaaaas... If only they can fly our plans for us or if only they could be a press secretary for us......🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
I was so weird out when I grew up to be older I was like wait a minute wait a damn minute these people were on shining Time station what the hell lolllllol
You should check out “The SiXsters” new release called “Feels”(Rock ) then you’ll still have two newer songs for later “I Stare at You” (Balad and “Same Kid (Rockest)
I think it's more of a sound of a Harley and I don't think anything's off with it I think he done a perfect job playing it just by using his ear because that to me sounds just like a Harley
I love my Spaniard brothers! I am a army ranger Christian!!! But I am half Polish. Lo Ciento. No son pure Español. Pero soy Un soldado por Español y Poland!!!!
The whole copyright strike thing with system of a down is quite embarrassing really that would be the same as my father saying to me as a little child I understand you like to see me run this doser or run this backhoe but when you get older son you're not going to be allowed to do that I'm going to have to put a copyright strike on you sorry but rules are rules talk about being crushed

Your enthusiasm is contagious! Good job. Thanks. 👋
Good video, big drummer. Thanks a lot
*Dire Straits' "Money For Nothing" was the first video to be aired on MTV Europe. The channel started on 01 August 1987.*

Awesome mate! I always learn something new when watching your reactions. Love the enthusiasm and keep rocking bro🤘🏻🤘🏻

Don't forget Evgeny from Slaughter to Prevail!!

MTV started in 1981 and aha take on me was in 1984. That’s a lot of videos in between to call it one of the first.
You might wanna check out "Josh Freese drumming "Wish" live with NIN"
The groove to Fool in the Rain by Bonham is tragically underrated and SUPER technical. Took me years to get it down. YEARS.

The bongo song, Hot for teacher, & Good times bad times are my top 3 intros

Im surprised neither OSN or El Estapario mentioned a 1 hit wonder iconic drum intro Billy Thorpe - Children Of The Sun

Snare sounds good
His video doing a reaction to a 7 year old doing Disasterpieces by Slipknot is crazy the kids name is Caleb H.
Wilco she fell in love with a drummer
I may be wrong but I thought video killed the radio star was the first on MTV
I wonder if he's going to play diver down
👑🥁
I was so weird out when I grew up to be older I was like wait a minute wait a damn minute these people were on shining Time station what the hell lolllllol
But in my defense you do notice that the song no excuses by Alice in chains came before song from blur number 2
You should check out “The SiXsters” new release called “Feels”(Rock ) then you’ll still have two newer songs for later “I Stare at You” (Balad and “Same Kid (Rockest)

Can we get some Gojira drums highlighted 🖤
That is diver down the way I know it anyways hot for teachers the same thing as diver down especially on the intro
Where is Almost Easy by Avenged? How can the double ride thing not be in the top 20?
i always thought hot for teacher . was more a top fuel dragster sound to me .✌✌
Video killed the. Radio star was number 1, then it was You better run.
after that I am lost.
You are correct I knew it the second I said it lol hard to be perfect live with no script
Just think if you're Dave grohl right now you're thinking to yourself ohh shit I thought it was going to be the Rev
