I noticed that and I said it on one of his shorts videos were he did that.. I'm not a drummer. And I proposed to all no drummers, to replicate that. Only the foot movement from side to side. Not even 10 seconds and I was completely dis coordinated.
I caught that too but I thought it was because of the sweat in his eyes. Makes more sense that he just pushed himself to the edge to produce that absolute masterpiece.
I think by the end of this, he was burning something fierce with the base drum craziness. His endurance and skill is just amazing. OMG, painkillers, ice packs and hot tub are in order, you earned it!
El Estepario is so COMPLETELY in his own class of artist/drummer! What I’m waiting to see is him writing his own material and someone ELSE try to cover HIS stuff (if they can). Why? Because EES will just take it up another notch and smoke them AGAIN! Absolute respect! :)

I just can't believe his independence of his four limbs. Whatever one does does not affect the other three at all. All four limbs just happen to be playing the same song and they're all playing their own part and then his fifth appendage that is totally disconnected from the other four and has a mind of its own is his head. He could turn and look around and talk to you, read a book or whatever while his four other limbs are just ahead doing their own thing.
the man is not human. Fuck this sounded cool though. I'm still running this cover on repeat just because it's that good. Thanks for reacting to it, you're as blown away as I was. rock on man.
To answer your question, i do indeed listen to his full cover versions on UA-cam over many of the originals. It took 2 or 3 listens to get used to his choices on my favorite songs. A bunch of my favorites actually. And Its to the point now, that when i hear the originals, i miss hearing Esteparios additions. Its rendered a few originals, dare i say, boring? It even happens with segments of great songs. I miss that drum roll he had in "THE POT" short..one of my favorite songs is now lacking, in certain parts, when i play the original. In this case it may be a bad example because ive listened to the original sooo many times. But Especially with songs ive not heard outside of his channel, those immediately grab me. Im getting addicted to "over drummy" music. In fact, i think its too late.... i need bombastically drum heavy sub generes now... and its estepario's fault.
His version of that Imagine Dragons song... Believe? IDK I don't pay attention to names all that much... will forever be the way it is supposed to be played now. It's pretty much the only way I will listen to it now.
One simple analysis for his playing gives the conclusion that all these need someone to play like him almost perfect indeed is: Loud playing,Loud practice to have the consistency in every time signature, seems clear that he try use many different hardware as pedals to find what fits to him so the right equipment, concentration so that need a place for practice to can concentrate in this he doing, nice knowledge of theory of music and experience so he can handle himself at a live venue to be nice, dynamic and inspirational instead of creative. All these can push you to the perfection and to always be openminded and not stop to improve yourself , knowledge never stops!!I thought all these existing in his mind!

His cover of Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi from about two years ago is very interesting. Clean, very true to the original, still some subtle intricacies to it. And the set sounds unreal with the EAD10! Right up your alley, I'm sure!

Impressive yes. But he said several times he practises drumming 8 hours per day, so he should have muscle to do that and more ...
