To date: this is the best solution I’ve seen of shining the spotlight from the nacelle onto the side of the secondary hull. Wonder if there are even more tricks that could focus that beam a bit more or isn’t possible due to the size?
This is gorgeous. You nail the all the crucial details. If not for knowing, anyone would think this is The Motion Picture miniature. Thank you from all of us for doing this and sharing.
Thank you allanrose. I much prefer an actual physical model in the movies. The models are so good now, not a lot of people realise they are still used in some productions. Thanks once again :-)
Yeah, its a mad thing to try and predict how subtle or heavy the pearls needed to be to get the finish, but now they are all done and seen as one unit they just become "the colour" which is a big relief :-)
Stunning beyond words !!! Beautiful beautiful
Awesome Andy, incredible attention to detail.
Thanks Graham :-)

Thank you 853heavy, that is really appreciated. :-)
I've been watching your vids for a wee while now and i'm totally gobsmacked.....this 1701 demonstrates undeniable skills!
Thank you Richard. Im trying my best to make it as close as i can to the original, with a bit of artistic licence thrown in.
It's beautiful
She's starting to look the part now. Thank you for the kind words :-).
Mint that AP.. as always. Did you produce the music too? 🎶
HI Carl, thanks man. Yes i did the music again, i hope it isn't too bad for the old ears ;-)
@@APmodels no it's right up my street 🎶
CGI models have nothing on this work of art here or the filming model from Star Trek The Motion Picture. Awesome.

She's a beauty and you're right about the pearls, they look a lot more subtle this week...
