It is easier and less hassle to apply for a spousal visa at a Philippines Consulate inAmerica while still in the US.

Wish Philippine immigration law will allow dual citizenship for people born in the Philippines with a former Filipino mother and american father. Born and raised in the Philippines 😔 even if born before 1973

I wish they would change the law that an American husband could go to the Philippines as a balikbayan or something if the wife is already in the Philippines. My wife is a dual citizen. Now she has to fly back here to get me so we can fly back together to avail the balikbayan privilege. It’s just a lot of extra expense. Is there a visa for this situation that I can avail to avoid the extra expense?

You can apply for 13A visa to become a permanent resident.
