Great review and analysis as usual ! This clip was from the Tokyo leg of their "Judgement Day" Japanese tour held last year. It was the 6th out of 7 concerts in total, the last one being at Yokohama on October 5 2023. Lovebites' new LIVE album "Memorial for the Warrior Souls" will be the mixed & mastered version of the aforementioned Tokyo show from that tour. This LIVE LP will be released next month on August 28. There's another LIVE video from this impending LIVE LP that was dropped in their official YT channel a few days ago - "We are the Resurrection". On the same day (August 28), the band will also release their latest EP "Lovebites EP II" with 5 new songs.
Their successful European tour just concluded a few weeks ago (2024) and it's part of their current world tour. There're plenty of fan cams of that tour on YT and you can check this one out from their Rock Imperium gig in Spain at your own time (since it's a fan cam, sound quality is not the best but video quality is very good) : ua-cam.com/video/O0lfSjWN9z4/v-deo.html . Here, you can see Fami in her normal bubbly, vibrant self. BTW, the ladies' next stop on the tour is 2 shows early next month (August) in South Korea.

They do a lot of those changes to intensify or just give it a slight different feel, its that type of stuff that picks at your ear almost without even noticing it!
I always felt that their song writing is some of the best ive heard. I've heard their entire catalog over and over again and i still pick up new details from time to time!

Your Lovebites breakdowns are always the best. Haruna conducting is priceless. Love our little BIG Engine! Firmly believe this is a band you go to SEE not headbang or mosh. You want to watch everything they're doing and not miss a thing. They are THAT type of band to me. I've been to Metallica, Maiden, Slayer shows where I just headbanged the whole show never once worrying about looking up to see what the band members are doing. Would never do that with this band, not a chance. Hard to explain if you don't know what I mean. Hope I get a chance to prove that theory out! 😊 You will have the time of your life, enjoy! Once in a lifetime band! 🤘

This mirrors my thoughts exactly. I participated a certain frantic, sometimes euphoric way seeing Babymetal, Hanabie, Band-Maid, Otoboke Beaver, and had an absolute blast. But when I see LOVEBITES, I will keep my head and eyes on the members at all times.... while still finding a way to release my energies and totally rock out!! Not sure exactly what that will look like just yet.....🤣
Did you notice that Asami's left in ear was out? Resting on her shoulder by her necklace!!!
I notice Su-Metal does this as well and it's my understanding that she does it in order to hear the crowd sing along. I'm sure the in-ears have noise cancellation quality and as a performer I know I would want to hear the crowd from time to time at least. Rock on!

That's typical for bands. Is it not for LB? I hadn't noticed. I also see one bass is cut out for the mic and the other is not. That seems kinda odd to me. Can't think of a reason why except maybe to alter the tone between the two on the recording? I don't know. Great to see you! Rock on!
