Apparently, there are no solos at all in this song. Instead, as you may have noticed, we're blessed with awesome dual, harmonized leads from the very beginning to the very end of the song. Just subscribed. Thanks a lot for reacting to amazing Lovebites and spreading the word because they deserve more recognition. These Japanese women are extremely talented, skillful and outstanding musicians. Their live performances are fantastic. Their main influences are the great metal band of the past but they have been developing their own and unique style. Some people say that they’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is also a concert level classical pianist. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just seven years. They toured Asia and Europe in 2018 and 2019, including their successful presentation at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018. They also toured the UK in 2019, opening for Dragonforce. They are starting their first whole world tour today and will be in the USA in September.
My absolute favorite band! This one isn't too heavy, but they close out many of their shows with this one. It's the unofficial anthem of the band and the fans. I love this performance. Lots of little details - the fist bump between Midori and Miyako, Miyako playing while watching Midori play, Asami's face on the piano, Asami and Fami greeting Haruna. My favorite thing though is how happy they all are and how heartfelt Asami is. This track closed their two-night comeback show after Miho left and they were away a while. The main principles of the band presented by Miho, the founder and first bassist of LOVEBITES, are as follows.
①Heavy metal (basic policy)
②All English lyrics (strategy for global expansion)
③White costumes👗 (Most metal bands wear black costumes, and if these short girls wore black costumes, they would be hidden, so they wear white costumes to contrast and stand out.)
④High heels👡 (to compensate for short height)
Miho also thought about the visual effects on stage.
Asami will modify stage lighting effects etc. on-site.
For white costumes, each person requests their preferences and ideas from the costume staff.

The new bassist here is Fami, who joined about 18 months or so ago, though she was putting out MV's of her own bass work for a couple of years before she joined them (all on YT and there's some exceptional performances). Lovebites are - by quite a wide margin these days - one of the very, very best Metal bands on the planet. Have a look at FROZEN SERENADE to see Miyako on right hand lead guitar display her exceptional piano skills...and Asami, the lead singer, who used to be a ballerina, dance to a piano and Spanish acoustic guitar! Haruna on drums is just 4' 11" but is a giant on her kit.
I love her stage presence..so happy and really enjoying herself the entire time! 🍻

Went to see Lovebites on Friday they were on fire omg one of the best gigs I have ever been too, meeting the band after was mind blowing , such a down to earth friendly talented ladies . ok I have milked it enough .. and yes Asami I wish it was our wedding photo lol ..

Going for their heavier stuff? Shadowmaker, Hammer of Wrath, Break the Wall, Holy Wars, Stand and Deliver come to mind. One very special song is Frozen Serenade - and for many it's their best. But in total you can just throw a dart at their catalogue and pick what you hit.

It's also their songwriting. All of them have written songs in the catalogue (except Fami, but she has written stuff before joining Lovebites, so I'm sure we'll hear things from her before long). @@TJandTheGringa It's a festival. They are co-headlining Day 3--they are not the last act on but negotiated for a full 90-min set, same as the headliner. That day sold out fast (driven mainly by Lovebites) but tickets may be found on the resale markets.

They have become one of my favorite bands as well, they are a fairly recent discovery for me, a couple of years maybe, together with for example Nemophila, Band-Maid, and The Warning. The first two are japanese, like Lovebites, the third is a trio of sisters from Mexico, TW and Band-Maid tend to be more hard rock than metal, still very good though, and they played together in Japan just the other day.
Miyako use Gibson Futura that i never seen before.
The drummer's name is Haruna. She is very cute. Haruna's height is 146cm. Her nickname is Little Big Engine.

So, you left us guessing what band is the new one. Let me guess - Hanabie? If you stay with in the same reactor group it has to be. It could be Babymetal and their new song Ratatata. I have not checked if you have looked at Babymetal yet. Its in another genre though. Ratatata is fantastic! We will see .... but if it is not Hanabie .... then you have to do Hanabie anyhow! We are familiar with Babymetal and electric callboy but we have not heard of this collaboration on purpose so we can react to it here so you can count on that one coming soon as well. Some excellent guesses btw ...stay tuned !

We have the BAND-MAID and The Warning cooperation also. Its a bit debacle regarding a leaked fan video, but when that is solved, it should be fun.
I can give you another hint - there is a band with three old guys called Ningen Isu. I would not miss that one.

LOVEBITES is by far my favorite of the female japanese bands - there are many more as you have discovered but one that popped up last year is a newer entry and like LOVEBITES is another potential supergroup of musicians from previous girl's metal bands. they are EAST OF EDEN and are sensational. you should consider checking them out if they aren't on your list. they have an epic violinist to add to the mix. here is a link for their song 'evolve' : ua-cam.com/video/gL2GQWhJaNQ/v-deo.html
