Thanks for the upload! I have been at the gig in Paris two weeks later which was also at a small club holding maybe 500 people - like at New Cross Inn there was no trench, no security, got very close and was standing right in front of Fami as well. What a blast! Two days later I have seen them once more at Hellfest performing in front of 30.000 or more people - first row again but with the trench and high main stage separating them, it was a different experience - still very good, but that Paris gig had me spoiled.
I will never forget this concert ! It was special from the first (the two soundchecks where technical difficulties occured) to the last moment (when we helped loading all the instruments and amplifiers into the van to drive to Belgium) and for sure every moment in between ! Thanks for sharing here ! What a great band in a cool location - perfect !
This was LOVEBITES' first London show on their first overseas tour in a long time, and it was also bassist Fami's first overseas show. Thank you for sharing this precious live video.🐺🤘🎤🎸🎸🎸🎶🙇♂ LOVEBITESの久しぶりの海外ツアー最初のロンドンライブでベースのFamiも初めての海外ライブです。 貴重なライブ動画をありがとうございます。🤗🙇♂
Thank you for your Masterpiece👀 From your position it is difficult to capture all the band members. I am impressed by your calm leadership (zooming etc.), it makes this concert a great experience. Seeing HARUNA so closely is very special, sometimes I get the feeling she is a moving express Train. Long Live LOVEBITES🤘
I started tearing up at the intro of every song. Then, when the audience cheered, at the chorus, and whenever Haruna appeared on screen, I felt the tears welling up again. Basically, I cry throughout the entire performance. Thank you for sharing this amazing video.🤘
Thank you for coming again to london on monday 1st july at the Garage north london as i missed this local south east london gig...I have my tkt already.
First off, thank you for this video. It's gorgeous. You took some time prepping it....When the earlier videos of this gig were posted, a lot of people freaked at the size of place. I did too, but I have a feeling that our band had a great time because of being so cramped up there. I was in a band that played fairly big clubs with nice stages or at county fairs where the stages were like four square acres. One time, however, we got a gig at a nice but VERY small bar. We nearly didn't fit on the stage, but it was the most fun we'd ever had. The people were ten feet away. It was great!
Wonderful to see what I unfortunately couldn't as due to infirmity I was sat on a bar stool against a side wall. My view was of a sea of backs with an occasional glimpse of Miyako and Assam's heads. So a mixture of emotions that I was there to hear but not to see. Thank you for the chance to witness their physical performance even though second hand. By the way there were four others in the same predicament as me.
It's amazing that you were there at the first venue where they resumed their world tour. Please take care of your health and continue to support them for a long time to come.
I have a back problem that meant I had to move to the back of the venue and find something to lean against about 2/3s of the way though the concert as I was in a lot of pain, but I wouldn't have missed the gig for anything. I was able to see most of the sound check close up before the concert and to meet the Ladies at the meet and greet after. Amazing just to be in the same place as them and hear them play. Going to London to see them again next Monday 🤗🐺
I love Lovebites, they are young & energetic. But I can see that the current tour can take its toll on them especially Asami's vocal & the guitarists aggressive playing with long solo in many of their songs. Take care ラヴバイツ!!
@@mikeames1427 Certainly, Miyako, certainly... She is excellent, but I prefer Midori, she has a real rock DNA, an attitude on stage, a way of projecting her music towards the crowd which draws very deep into the roots of this music... And that speaks to me... It's an old rock lover who speaks (I was born at the same time as rock... and let's not forget that the fifties, sixties and seventies invented everything in these musical fields) and that's just my opinion, all other opinions are largely as valid as mine if not better, obviously... Same for bassists. If Miho was less virtuoso than Fami, she had an undeniable rock presence, a little extra something that is missing today in LOVEBITES... But this band certainly remains one of my favorites at the moment. (my top five without obligatory order of preferences: LOVEBITES, Nemophila, Band Maid, Asterism and Sokoninaru.)
@@gillesmurat7362 I think I have to agree with you. I admire both Miyako and Fami very much for their technical performance, Miyako especially, she is the consummate perfectionist, but I love both Midori and Miho for their Rock Goddess attitude on stage. Rock and Metal are as much attitude as musical ability and Midori has both in spades. With Fami as part of the band, Lovebites are inevitably going to take a different direction to that they would have with Miho. If that will be better or worse we will never know, I'm just glad they are continuing to play and record. I'm an old grey haired Rocker from the 60's who has been given a new lease of life by these wonderful Japanese Ladies. The bands and music coming out of Japan reminds me so much of Britain in the 60's and 70's.
I was at the New Cross meet and Greet. Had my personal photo with the Ladies and was able to exchange a few words with Midori, Asami and Miyako. Not a conversation, but a thank you to them for their music and being there. As far as I know Haruna and Fami don't speak any English, but I hope they understood what was intended.
@@tonym480 Thankyou Tony-san ! These ladies are Japanese. I’m Japanese、too. But all members of them are 10times smarter than me😥.Probably、they understood your words. And they don’t realize how great they are. They are humble people.
That is a very good comparison. One of the things I like about music is the power it has to united people from different countries and backgrounds in a common cause.
Wow . I can't believe Midori's guitar is so out of tune...and no one here noticed ???? Esp in last song. Never heard an out of tune note from them.. I think these low production gigs are not good for them fold back wise. Even Asami's vocals were a bit off. I am shocked. Please note I am a huge fan and love this band to death.
Lovebites are such troopers! One of (if not THE) best metal bands in the world playing to what amounts to a nightclub crowd. Love this band!

The absolute joy shown by FAMI is so heart warming. Living a dream!!
What a brilliant video! Sound is perfect. Also nice to hear clear Fami´s playing. Awesome band . Thank you for the video 🥰

whoever was at this club, that was the best day of your life getting that CLOSE to Lovebites! And I'm jealous as FK!
Great show and video! Asami has a heck of a voice. Easy to look at, too!! Thanks for the video!
Thanks for good-quality upload, dude! Our queens deserve a stadium, not small club... I hope one day it's come true... LOVEBITES RULES!
What a great night that was. I'll remember it forever, we were so blessed to be so close to the ladies

It wasn't out of tune and Asami was fine. Seen and heard from about 20 feet away, not on a phone recording.
I was there and it sounded Okay. But I have heard since then that Midori broke a string during the performance.
I find it shameful to show musicians of this level in such a narrow place. Without respect.
Fucking awesome!!!!!🤘🤘🤘
