While I personally disagree, I think it repeating itself would make it less special would take to much space to make other and take over the identity of other regions, making them less special, and because mega evolution felt special to gen 6, besides I love seeing new gimmicks, I am thrilled by the return of the megas

Tecnically starting from Ash Greninja, they are not mega evolutions but other thant amazing video. My favorites are Mega Venusaur, Mega Lopunny, Mega Sceptile and Mega Heracross
I kind of understand the meaning behind your lopunny’s name, but it sounds so strange to me hearing someone call their female pokemon (lopunny has a gender ratio favoring towards females more than males) a male name. Same can be somewhat applied to aggron, but that might be due to you already using metagross for steven, but i think byron could work cuz he uses one as his ace in his platinum rematch battles.
Pretty sure they're coming out with a game with mega and maybe a moves and gmax pretty soon but it's hard to work around the lore because gmax only works in galar and pretty sure z moves only work in alola also qotd answer is mega ttar because it's already one of my favorite pokemon
am i the only one here that thinks that Mega Sceptile is the only pokemon that not only changes it's type to a Grass/Dragon type but it's ability is changed to Lightning Rod as well? ps: my favorite is Mega Manectric
