  • In this video I got over the details of assessing the coolant temperature sensor in my 2007 Yamaha FZ6. This sensor is crucial as it helps the ecu determine fuelling and ignition.
    Specs for coolant sensor:
    resistance @ 0 degrees C 5.21-6.37 KOhms
    resistance @80 degrees C 0.29-0.35 KOhms

    I just sold my FZ6 Im sending thr buyer all your videos. By the far the best FZ6 videos out there. You should get an FZ1 so I can learn how to do all that maintance haha.

    Hi. Can you explain me how change settings on dashboard Yamaha fz 6 from farenheit to Celsius. I have same bike as you even color

      I never found a way to switch the units to metric units. Some people on R6 forums had a method but I never got around to seeing if that worked on the FZ6.
