Fans only kick on when water reaches certain temp usually around 212 fans kick on Suzuki. Honda kicks on at 210 I've seen bikes fans kick on at 220. Anything after 225 your overheating

You are so dreamy beautiful. And you wrench on your own bike. Boyfriend I hope you thank THE GODS FOR HER EVERY DAY. Anywho. 😜🫶🏾🫶🏾
And the fact you did the paper clip test shows you know what you need to do is get a toggle switch and a wire pinch and install a switch. So you can turn on fans in traffic. Since summer is coming. Run the wire up and tie it along with others as not to dangle. Then install toggle up some where near your dash or side where tank sits on frame. And any time you see it get to 190-200 flick on so you don’t have to wait till 220. This will also save your motor and radiator from those heats. Or during a ride into city flick on and cruise.
Also might I suggest relocating rectifier from behind radiator and mounting on side. Amazon sells the kit. I went a step further and did a RECTIFIER FAN MOD. also helps in traffic situations also.
Keep up the good work. Your more hands on than most channels here.
Hopefully your radiator reservoir has a top if not partzilla has it for cheap or the shop you grabbed electric thermostat from.
Anywho Subscribed SHES too wrench’s dreamy not too.

I just followed your instructions to test the used fan I got off of Ebay and nothing unfortunately happened.
