Awesome footage!! Great job by the cameraman! If I could make a small suggestion and maybe nextime could the chassis, radio and perhaps tire type info be ghosted somewhere on the screen?

Are there rules/restrictions in Drift Championship?
And how does point counting go, same as real life? (drift angle, clipping point, understeer)
It's not the same, though: in the EC 1/10 Touring class I raced we had restrictions as:
    - tires.
    - minimum car weight.
    - limited body dimensions.
    - limited ECU + motor (13.5T).
    - use of gyro was forbidden(!)
I guess this is not the case in Drift Championship. :)

      Yes
You can see the regulations on the website of RCDC!

Just used Google Translate, I think it's pretty accurate..
I like the sophistication of the rules; the regulations/restrictions; the overall safety etc. there are more than I thought. :)
Especially I like the high attention to detail, for example this one:
      バッテリーやモーター、アンプの配線が、カーボンパーツ、アルミパーツなどの角にあたるもしくは、こすれるような各配線部分には必ず絶縁すること.
This one is very good, I believe if you build your whole project car (RC or real life car) with attention to detail like this, you will have a very smooth, balanced and good car!
Details make the whole. That's one of my philosophies.
I'm not suprised about this high attention to detail, it's one of the many things I appreciate about Japanese people.
Things are very well thought through, almost on a "autistic" level, you see this back in all the technical things like cars, all electric equipment.. Japanese brands are the best and my favorite, ii ne!
Again thank you for the link, it was very informative.
