I’m telling you, every SINGLE time I’m ready to clean something new, you post a video about it. You’re one of my favorite UA-camrs. Thank you for your information and time. ❤
Very informative, here’s a tip in case you have not thought of it, I use the dry swifter to dust my walls, and hot tip if you ever have drywall dust swifter works like magic. Cheers Vancouver Island Canada 😊
Hi, i haven't watched entire video yet, however you haven't mentioned what finish YOUR walls are that your washing? You went over in beginning about the 6 options, i thought you were going to tell us how to clean each type of finish..it wouldve been a great video, which the other parts are..but i clicked on to specifically find out how to clean walls, especially flat wall paint, as thats what we have. So please message me letting me know what finish your wall paint is? Thank you
@@lisafarmen9367 my wall paint is eggshell. If your walls are flat you will need to test in a small inconspicuous spot first and see if the paint gets rubbed off because flat is typically not very durable and rubs off easy.
When my kids were little, I painted using an eggshell finish. This wasn't durable enough for our messiness. When I would spot clean high traffic areas like around the light switch, the paint would wipe off. Of course, I was using a 409 type cleaner. Maybe it was too harsh. Beware eggshell finish isn't the answer to grubby little paws problems.
Right? Better to use a satin paint or wallpaper when kids are little. Semi gloss for trim. When they grow up more, then you can use flat or eggshell. Bonus these days you don't even have to strip off wallpaper, they make a primer for wallpaper you can paint over, even covers textured!
I think I have a neat freak/clean freak mental disorder (not to the level of some people).. More like, if I leave the house and everything isn't perfectly clean, the entire day it claws at me... Sort of like if someone's life is a total mess, but if the house is perfectly clean and spotless it makes up for the screwed up life? I don't know. Like the other night, I looked out my kitchen window and on the sidewalk there was this soda can someone just threw down...I tried to ignore it...until the next day... but I couldn't...I went out at 2 am and picked it up.... that's what I'm talking about.
I always vacuum as much as I can with the backpack vacuum first, then touch up dust last. If the ceiling fan has an inch of dust on it, I vacuum it first with the backpack vacuum. Same with blinds, smooth surfaces, walls, etc. Then touch up dust last.
White vinegar in fabric softener dispenser in washer. Your clothes will not smell like vinegar and it helps get previous fabric softener out of clothes. I use wool dryer balls too makes clothes dry faster and helps with static. Vinegar helps degunk washer parts too caused by fabric softener and too much liquid detergent. No, vinegar doesn't damage gaskets and washer parts. My washer is a 2004 model whirlpool duet runs great. I also have a 40 year old speed queen that's great
NEVER wipe a dryer sheet or fabric softener/water mix on clean baseboards to keep dust down. What dust and dirt does get on there afterwards gunks up and you have to really scrub with degreaser or steamer to remove it. Mr clean type sponges will leave marks on flat and eggshell painted walls. Better to use barely damp microfiber cloth.

The vacuum cleaner backpack thing is not available. Is there another one that used to just one that is sealed and has a HEPA filter?
All of the Pro Team Backpack Vacuums are good. There should be other ones available on Amazon.
You are the man
thanks

Should I dust THEN vaccum? Or Vaccum THEN dust ?

Do you have an idea for a natural fabric softener?
And don’t need fragrance….

It's my understanding the same case could be made for high heels lol
