The thing I love about wolves are the eyes. That alert, intense stare, even when they're totally relaxed. Just mesmerizing...or however you spell it.
"They really are a reflection of us." Beautiful. Thanks.
Their documentary was really beautiful, made me fall in love with wolves... and animals. I was pretty nervous around almost any animal before.
Hy. Where can I find the full documentary?
Thank you guys for the book. I'm going to purchase a copy to helps save an important link in our native ecosystem, while learning new details of their life.
Interesting...wolves are beautiful creatures. What an adventure. Would love to experience this myself. Look forward to reading their observations and seeing the photos. We must protect this species and the beautiful wild parts of our nation. Once its all gone, it can not be brought back like before.
what an amazing life to lead! I'm tad envious of them :) wolves are beautiful animals and what I love most about them is strong sense of community!
Beautiful story, even better cinematography!
I So Agree!!!
I got the book for my birthday, very excited! Thanks for documenting these incredible animals and sharing your findings with us.
Thank you, neisy. I really appreciate hearing from a thinking person, who is not a bully. Sometimes reading the comments on youtube and other social sites makes me really sad and afraid for the mental health of society. The level of ignorance and intolerance is staggering.
Wonderful :D. As a long time fan of wolves, I'd love to get this book. Perfect :D

wolves are my favorite animals of all time ! :)
WOLVES ARE MY FAMILY!!!!
I have a "friend" I call Tsar. Nobody who has ever visited me as of yet has ever looked at him without asking me, "Is that a wolf?" Well, I don't know. He just showed up one day (I live in the mountains) but has only ever been loving, sociable, and gentle. He's allowed me to feed him while holding the bowl so he can lick it clean. There's 0% aggression on his part and he walks beside me everywhere I go as if it's his job to accompany me. Tsar appears to be a wolf by size and color. He's gentle.
very nice i wish i could join!
wonderful vidio :-)))))))))))))))))))))))))))
Top of the world.
I love you guys 3
love to have one
Thank you from my brother the wolf may you ride the wind .
I guess it is not impossible; I just know that wolves have been given a bad rap and are little to no threat to humans. If they were a real threat to humans, there would be documentation, like with bears and cougars. And I basically agree with the bit about all animals being good for an ecosystem (except invasive species) but top predators are particularly important to balance and biodiversity.
This makes wolves look kind of adorable. Also, the first thing that crossed my mind when reading the title was "do they eat bacon?" as a joke, but seeing that they have contact with these humans, I now ask a little more seriously:
Do they eat bacon?
i just culdent stop smiling :)
You might like this quote then, dont remember who its from though - "We stopped checking for monsters under our bed when we realized they were inside of us."
I've never been sky diving but I've zoomed in on google earth really fast
I love wolves
Glitch....Yes! reading the CS Blogs is a Good Example !!!..
There has to be balance for any species to survive. That's the way it is.
Human being... you fear what you don't know and you hate what you fear.
Where can the full documentary be found, would like to see it.
I would like to see more on you tube.
Share it with the world I know I will never be the same.
It's in the wind.
Много приятно филмче!!!
It is good to know you are going home I have been a way for far to long and yes you will hear me my brother the wolf.
As a kid i've always thought that wolves howl at the moon.
Yes, you are correct, but it is much further down the line than people have been led to believe.
there is the full documentary on youtube if you want to watch it
I WANT TO BE A WOLF😯😯😯😣😣😣😣😣😣
Why?!
The Wolves are Back by Jean Craighead George is an excellent children's book about how the wolves in Yellowstone brought back biodiversity to Lamar Valley.
I agree with the fact that domestic cattle are the bane of the Americas. However, Wolves can, have and DO kill people out of desperation. This fact alone is enough to make people far too fearful of these creatures to be allowed anywhere near human populations. It isn't their fault, it isn't ours, it just is.
The truly good book people do need to understand that there's a hierarchy and wolves they do have a structure of society and they're very accepting of us people we're under the right circumstances. I personally have a wolf who's the service animal not a wolf dog a wolf a red McKenzie Tundra wolf and he is absolutely amazing one of the things they say wolves are shy he loves doing his job in the public and he absolutely loves women females any age he doesn't care or he just think they all belong to him he's absolutely drop-dead gorgeous anywhere we go a 15-minute run into the store turns out sometimes to be an hour and a half because people just can't stay away from him they want to know about him they want to touch him he's got a certain kind of magnetism that just draws people. So I truly would like people to learn more about wolves how they affect the ecosystem how they actually keep herds in control and it benefits Hunters when we have wolves they are not a detriment hit anything.
today i watched a movie about people eaten by wolves on this channel and now this...
Lol agreed!!
Wow? Really? (Good one by the way)
Yellowstone ablaze1988.
Is the first time I ever herd a wolf in the wild.
And to this day I long to hear him call me in Colorado home range.
I would've loved to have been out there interacting with wolves. When I go out to adopt a dog, I go right for the ones that resemble them the most in appearance and temperament, as close as I can get without the gene. I wish it was possible to have a hybrid. *sigh*
that's what my reply was going to be! I agree, I didn't see the comment to the other person.
I think it means they do not hunt for sport, they hunt to survive. And like all top predators, they bring biodiversity and balance to the habitat, which is a very good thing. Biodiverse ecosystems are much more resilient to disaster.
Our own kind must come first.
los lobos son unas de las criaturas mas bellas de la naturaleza junto con el tigre de bengala !!!!
Only too true...
Oh my lupus!!!! Wolfys!!!!!!
Please do.
Whats the difference between a baby and a bunny? They are both feeling organisms. It doesnt matter which one is being bitten alive. Its just as real a horror in either scenario.
I'd love to move off the grid for 6 years and live with wolves...what a life these two individuals must have...Sure beats the stock market and financial planning...
Jim and Jamie Dutcher if you go to wolf sightings in Colorado you will find footage of what appears to be a timber wolf.? What are your views on giving a location.
i just wonder why wolves are such a popular animal i get their an important animal but why can other animals be as important as them
Yeah all animals are part of the ecosystem, if one is banished it all messes up and that's why some populations go down or up.
We have to prepare ahead of times to make sure we can grow, but at a slower rate that allows our population to stay nearly the same. If it lasts like this we will multiply way too fast.
It's not impossible for a wolf to attack a human. Think of older times with no records, or just times that have not been recorded. We cannot say for sure that wolves never attack humans. However, they probably do it for understandable reasons (Protection. Food. etc.) Was that what you disagreed about, or was it about how I said all animals are good when balanced?
Yes, the invasive species are hard to control and get in the way of the natives that help the ecosystem. They aren't much of a threat to us since we aren't really on their menus unless they need the food.
my alter-ego has always been a wolf !
