My childhood memory food are from both parents. Dad, it was curry chicken or sweet and sour fish. He made adobo a lot too but these were my favorite. Mom was lumpia shanghai or pichi-pichi
Bistek tagalog. ng tatay ko ang naalala ko kapag naaamoy ko yun naisip ko aga Daddy ko ang masarap magluto ng bistek tagalog daming sinaing dapat pag yun ang ulam😂
Ang soy sauce pang kulay lang. dapat maraming bawan at isang tasa ng suka. Bay leaves and itlog is optional. I like to fry my chicken half way during cooking. Remove from the pot and pan fry some minced garlic, then add the half cooked chicken pieces. Once nag brown both side, then place chicken back in the pot. Simmer for 2 minutes. Serve with hot white fragrant Jasmine rice and Mezzetta Golden Greek Peperoncin. It’s the best condiments for chicken adobo. I promise you ❤❤❤

It’s like making pizza. You can add pusit or anchovies or not have tomatoe sauce in your pizza. Adobo is the same thing. Mexican make their adobo different.
