Thankyou Kirsty, beautiful explained, I took a big jump in OCD recovery when as Oliver says open my self to life's uncomfortable feelings, I'm like, bring it on anything.. fighting in my head not gonna change anything in reality, bring it on.. whatever happen I'll see it. Unconditional self life and other acceptance gets strong with time and I can se my life apart from OCD is too getting in peace because of these concepts. Still not there but doing great. Big big thanks to OCD recovery team. 👏🙏❤️
Rajat that is great that you are seeing benefits from your hard work, because unconditional acceptance and letting ourselves be uncomfortable is not easy, and I agree, Oliver is very articulate in his explanations.
Thank you Kirsty. Another very helpful video. I'm thinking that the manner in which we carry out acceptance is mainly by first becoming aware of the OCD thought and then diffusing from it. Over time the thought becomes less alarming and thus moves to the background versus the foreground.
