I like how you do the 1 sc in every stitch on every other row. This will solve my problem of my work becoming real wavy, like I have too many stitches in each row, even though I follow pattern instructions. This way will keep the work flat. Thank you!
Thank you for the round rug pattern. This has to be the very first round rug that I actually made that turns out ROUND. It's perfectly round. Love your pattern.
I have to say, you're an excellent tutor, Yet, I wondered why my work.was turning into.a cup.shape, instead of a flat circular.shape Now, I.can.rip.out halfway back.and increase 1 row sc and 2 sc in every alternative row. Thanks a million. You're a genius Ma'am💯❤👏👏👏💐👍.
I have some old t-shirts that my son has worn out and I have been planning to make my own t-shirt yarn with them. This will be the perfect project for my yarn. Thank you for your clear instructions, Pamela.
What a lovely rug you are crocheting! That stitch marker has a very important role to play. Your rug looks like 4th of July colors on my phone! Beautiful!!!❤❤❤
Hi!!! I am currently making my scrap rug for my bedroom and I love it SOOOOO much!!!!!❤ Thank you so much for the video. I hope you continue making more videos like this.😁
You just showed me and finally thank the stars someone finally explained clearly to me the absolute with out a doubt the best way to make a magic ring I haven't ever seen it done that way and the people who taught me make it so much harder than it has to be.... Thank you again lovely lady. P. S. now you have a new subscriber!
Fantastic rug great tourtial Pamela like 👍 the red black and white. Really neat how did your ends like you said can't see where you finished. 🎉👍Have saved it in my folder Thsnks for sharing. 👍♥️💜☘️
This rug is so pretty. What a great idea for using up those leftover yarns. If it's all acrylic it's washable. Rugs get dirty so washable is a must. Your Idea 💡 is a great one.
Oh my goodness, I use the same technique to join yarn, but NEVER saw it demonstrated the way you did (while held in your hand) and I LOVE it! And, you are also one of the few that holds their hook and yarn exactly like I do TFS this super easy but hip looking pattern 🧶❤
You are an amazing teacher! First Time that I manage to do the magic circle! But I do have a problem it starts to be a bit wavy even tho I follow the instructions… am in row 43 now.. I am using a smaller hook 6mm and two yearns instead of 3 I don’t know if that’s the problem :/ I was wondering if I should add more rows of sc to make it flat
So glad I found you. I've been searching for years for a solution to the wavy "potato chip" effect of crocheting in the round. Something as simple as alternating increase rows with single crochet rows solves that problem. Thank you for sharing your written instructions and generously presenting them so we could take a screenshot.👍👍👍👍👍 You made my day.🤗
Pamela, you are an excellent teacher, and so creative. I not only enjoy your enthusiasm for crochet, but the love and kindness you show your followers is treasured. I look forward to making a rug!! Thank you❣️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Pamela 😊 for this tutorial you explained so well a d you suggested to take a snapshot of the pattern how thoughtful because not e everyone has a printer to print it off . Thank you God-bless and Jesus hugs 🤗 love you
Hello, thank you for the video. Thank you for the printed instructions at the end. Could you show the 1st part of the printed instructions not shown in the video? Thank you very much.
Now I have the remaining ropes of different textures. What do you think would happen if I made them with them and glued something non-slip underneath, and it would be mixed with different type of yarns?
This is a great way to work in the round! This must eliminate the hexagon shape, right? What a great way to burn through some unwanted acrylic yarn. Would you go down a hook size with 3 strands of dk weight yarn? The written instructions say to start each round with an increase but as you're working the rounds you started with a single crochet and do the increase after the proper number of singles. Can you clarify please?
I have made this pattern 3 times with 2 more planned this week (belated gifts). However I was wondering if you had a video to make this in an oval. I was thinking this would make some awesome stair treads if you could make it in an oval.
The scrap balls are all different colors. I think when I use the really small ones, they are not as prominent but they blend well for the overall look.
Thank you!!! Explaining how the increase rows goes up in numbers is exactly what I been confused on !!! Great tutorial! ❤

How to crochet a large oval rug. Yarn by Jodie on You Tube. I used the oval instructions for placemats.
Inow

Thank you God-bless and Jesus hugs 🤗 love you
Awesome tutorial! I’ll definitely be rewatching this video soon 😁
I have my bag of scraps and a good start. Thank you so much for this titorial. I have made these in the past and they hold up so well. 💖
So funny how it doesn’t matter what colors you use they all blend eventually!
Your so easy to follow, ty, I have a question, could you do this same pattern rug with a bulky yarn using 1 strand instead of 3?
Yes you can Correna. It's not the thickness of the yarn but the increases that always remain the same.
Hello, thank you for the video. Thank you for the printed instructions at the end. Could you show the 1st part of the printed instructions not shown in the video? Thank you very much.
I would like to see the pattern for this rug! Love your Tutorial!
I just joined your channel when I saw this video, do you have a video to make the basket?
I've been looking for a crochet round rug pattern, thank you!
Pamela thank you so much for doing the rug tutorial this was great💕NonnaGrace
Great tutorial....Thank you!
Now I have the remaining ropes of different textures. What do you think would happen if I made them with them and glued something non-slip underneath, and it would be mixed with different type of yarns?
I think that would look amazing!
Great tutorial, Pamela! I'd like to make one if these for myself. Maybe in Fall colors like pumpkin, moss green and gold...

Thanks for sharing your pattern .
Thank you for giving us a tutorial. I loved it.
Can this rug pattern also be used for making the bottom of a basket?
Love the way you do the rug!

She is so good
Love these!
Can’t wait to try this.
I need to make these!
I think I have enough of scrap yarn to make one of these I'm going to try
How do you come up with colors
Love this!!!❤❤❤
Great tutorial.
And how do you keep the rounds from curling up
Mine also curling up. Would love to know how to tackle this..😊
Beautiful thank you
Where’s the pattern for this rug? 22:46
Where can I get the pattern?
Omg 😱 I love 🥰🥰🥰
i followed every step. total stitches match. but it still wavy. why?
Hello, wonderful! How do you get the bands of colours when you using small scraps? Thank you very much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The scrap balls are all different colors. I think when I use the really small ones, they are not as prominent but they blend well for the overall look.
Thank you
Awesome ❤️
Very beautiful. It would probably be safest to put this throw rug on top of an actual rug for safety, as it would be very slippery on a wood floor.
Beautiful ❣
Great video thanks 😊
how to do that basket tho
How much yarn did you use to make the blanket
I’m not sure because I used scrap balls.
This is it

Very nice rugs! However, I don’t think yellow should have been used in rug #2. It’s prettier without it.
