  • ♡ Hello Hello ♡
I have been using Light Mountain Natural henna hair dye in the shade "Red" for a year now. I wanted to share some additional tips I have picked up. My first hair dyeing video goes over why I chose henna, how to make the henna paste, and how to dye your hair using henna. The link for my first hair dyeing video is below! If you have any questions, feel free to write them in the comments and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible!

Thank you for all the tips!
I usually skip all the talking to get to the results but you are such a beautiful soul. I enjoy hearing everything you have to say while drinking my coffee 😊

still stunning! LOVE your hair (both color and curls, want it all lol). few quick questions:
-did you redo your whole head when dyeing after the roots came in or just the roots?
-over all, how many times have you henna'd (approx if you don't remember) and how has that affected the color on already colored hair (if doing whole-head vs just the roots). does it get more red/burgundy, more dark-brown/blk etc?
-your curls are awesome: are they natural? apparently, henna loosens curls and even makes them disappear so was wondering how that's been affected. I'd love to maybe even get a perm but will have to read up on when, ie before or after henna, and if henna afterwards will make it all go away.

Hi there! I put the henna thick on the roots when I re-dye it and then just mix a couple spoonfuls of henna with conditioner for the ends of my hair. I have dyed my hair over 8 times for sure, but I don’t know the exact amount! I always end up with the same color, it didn’t ever deepen the red color or anything for my ends. I do have natural curly hair, and I have never noticed any damage to the curls themselves at this point!

Henna absolutely fades over time! I've been using high quality henna for years, so I absolutely know. It can also become darker with time, when you continually apply for years...

how long does it take for the color to fade, is it semipermanent?

It doesn't fade, but some people say that if you do oil treatments with coconut oil, it will fade a little

It doesn’t fade at all! I only dye it again when my roots grow out.

It fades so slowly that some people think it doesn't fade at all but it's because the color goes so deep into the hair. But warm oil treatments helps a lot
