The second solo of this version of Luxury Liner is an extraordinary masterpiece that will remain in history, one of the best solos I've ever heard in my entire life. Albert, you deserve a place of honor in the Olympus of guitarist
I like the timbre of the telecaster through a real amp much better, but Man, this dude can play. And makes it look so effortless. Such a gift to humanity.
This is not good……..this is absolutely mindbogglingly devastating guitar gun slinging. Been fortunate having been experiencing Albert Lee in a private intimate setting, sitting a metre away from him…..it is even more impressive!!!!
Albert seems such a great gentle guy ---he is a wonderful guitar player-----but I reckon his strength is as a lead guitarist rather than as a lead singer?

I have to agree. Pretty hard to top that…and that goes for anyone.
Albert Lee is without peer. The greatest of the greats bow down to him reverence. The absolute GOAT.
Fantastic, I could listen to Mr. Lee play all day long..
Ha ha, Albert is so great. Pure talent. Clapton hires him to play lead, literally.
Some journalist asked Clapton “ what is it like being the world’s best guitarist?” He replied ‘you better ask Albert Lee”
Albert plays that Music Man signature most of the time, but have you ever heard him on his old Telecaster “B-bender”?
He also played keyboard for Clapton and sang harmony.
Looking forward to seeing Albert soon. Big favourite of mine. 😊

I sat down and had a little jam with him once I was a very very average player. He was very humble , he signed my music man AL model guitar as well.
It's only the hacks that aren't humble..
He signed my brother’s Telecaster.
All I have to say is... My gawd that man can play.
incredible-lee
Boy oh boy! Just think how good that band is to keep up with him!
LOVE THIS ... SO POWERFUL / thx from germany ...
It's like a hayride with a dragster pulling you
Albert Lee is the best!!
Great performance Albert.
Un genio.
How can you not love Albert???
How can you not love Dorothy Malone?
a great listen ..he is hot on this version
Fantastic!
BRAVO young man!
Albert's awesome!
Find and play all these "Live from Mars" videos! There's a bunch of them! Albert in his prime!!!
Tracking down the DVD, which came with a CD of this performance, was not easy. IMO, it is his best live performance among the many available.
And not only that, that concert was done with a different band than his usual Hogan's Heroes.
Genius.
Albert and Nicole Yarley
hi there my thtree yamaha superstrats are tuned to f, f and fis: happy new year!!!!!

Albert Lee is a great singer TOO! !!!!!!
You literally cannot play the Bakersfield or chickin pickin sound any better or faster, it humanly impossible.
Love Albert Lee, the greatest guitarist most people have never heard of. Kinda wish he'd kept with the Telecaster though, I think it sounded better.
El mejor.
Who's in this band?
Albert Lee & Vince Gill - coin flip as to who's the greatest rockabilly guitarist.
Hi
A thumbs down???
Whoever gave this a thumbs down is definitely deaf and blind, the poor sod, no doubt about it !
He is someone who prefers the Telecaster than this shit
