we're all figuring life out together, and that's okay 💛 i hope you guys enjoy this chit chatty podcast-style video, and that it makes you feel *something*. let me know in the comments if it did, and your thoughts. see you soon!
I actually cried watching this video because it's true that we have destroyed the simple things in life that make us happy and fulfilled. I adopted my dog from a family that could not keep up with her high energy, (jack Russell), but she has become such a loving, caring, amazing part of my family. Social media has influenced so much negativity these days and we just need to take a step back to be grateful for how we are in the moment. Your videos always make me feel calm and collected while I'm going through a hard time
:') I'm so happy to hear my video resonated with you & helps you during a hard time. Also, I love to hear that you also adopted your dog and gave her a lovely home. Mindful consumption of social media is so important, and it's *okay* to take that step back to feel yourself again. Wishing you well 💛 Thank you so much for this comment!
I almost cired realizing im doing enough for my school and doing some stuff thinking im resting but i actually didn't. for example i'm addicted to video games and i think i'll rest playing them but i actually don't. i'm not giving my mind some time to rest. thank you very much this is very inspiring and made me want to change
Love love LOVE this video! I’ve watched a couple videos like this to help me with my anxiety and it’s helped me a lot be confident in myself and start sharing my journey as a creator and not worry about what others think of me when I’m vlogging and talking behind or in front of the camera and just enjoy being myself, enjoying life! Thank you for sharing this!💚🤎
Aww Buko the coconut 🥥💛🤗 I think procrastination is a form of self care. Get curious about why you don’t want to do the thing. Journal. Talk about it with a friend. Get more support or delegate the task or a portion of the task. Step away from the task and be present in the moment. Have a screen free day. Play music. Play games. Go for a walk. Clean your space. Make a to do list and break it down into 15 minute tasks even if you need to put three 15 tasks that are exactly the same because when you cross of the first one you’ll be motivated to keep going!
Maisy, this video made me cry. What a beautiful reminder to be gentle with ourselves. I resonated so much with the same struggles. Thank you for your vulnerability; it’s so refreshing on UA-cam. 💕 Also, I looooove Buko 🥹 Can’t wait to see him in more of your videos! 🐾
Hi Maisy! If you’re looking for a sign as to whether you should continue doing such talking videos, let me contribute to it! It is very relatable, especially when you mentioned dissatisfaction with your business and content creation. From our side as the audience, I feel like you are doing A LOT. Like it feels like you’re giving us very quality and intentional content, of which the time and effort taken seems very valuable. As for me personally, I’m someone who enjoys seeing people reflect deeply, objectively, yet gracefully about their own journey. It’s not often that I’m able to mirror that in my social circles, so to have someone like you who can do so feels very comforting. Appreciate all the work that you put into your products and content!
Hi Alexis! Wow, this is SO encouraging to read. Thank you so, so much for tuning in, and for leaving such a sweet comment. I definitely needed to hear this! I'm so lucky to have such a supportive community. Sending you warm vibes, and wishing you luck! Maisy
Hi Maisy, i truly appreciate this video. You have brought up an important topic that I've been struggling with. This video made me reflect on myself, take a step back and think things through. I will be more mindful on my low time, give it my all and take better care of myself. You have helped us grow, please keep making these kind of videos ❤❤❤
This resonated so much with me. It's something that I'm aware of and actively working on, so I understand it's not just me going through it, but it just feels so much more real to hear others talking about and relating to this topic. Thank for offering your space to open the conversation ❤
This video really resonates with me, I'm recently employed after being unemployed for a year. I've been focusing on living in the moment and not allowing myself to feel overwhelmed by my workload. I'm two weeks in and I'm still struggling to incorporate a good balance of rest. But I've picked up watching my favorite shows and reading my bible during lunch breaks. Having a relationship with God has helped me a lot with anxiety, I can often struggle with overthinking and anxiety over the tiniest things, but the bible says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7. The Lord reminds me before I go full-on panic, and he helps me to practice work-life balance. Whenever I'm reminded of his command to not worry but to pray instead, I immediately begin to relax and be filled with peace and remain productive.
I have been watching you for years now and I feel so connected with you because you are just real. I feel no one talks about these types of emotions. I just recently graduated from college and you have truly been an inspiration for me. Whether it is within my peace/zen, desk tech, or even my career with wanting to be a UX/UI designer. You are not alone and thank you for being such a transparent person.
Jade!! This is the nicest comment ever! Thank you so much for the kind words 🥹 I’m so happy my videos have inspired you in many ways, most importantly with your peace & zen 🍃 Wishing you well, and thank you so much for watching all these years!!!
For me (and not necessarily you or others), I find that procrastination doesn't mean I need to let myself relax, but I do think it is a signal to myself that I need to take care of myself -- by taking care of the task that I'm procrastinating on. Because I find that I particularly procrastinate on things like relating to taking care of my health (e.g. picking up a prescription) or overcoming a big task that would seriously improve my quality of life (like studying far in advance of an exam so that I don't have to be stressfully cramming the day before). So for me, "reframing procrastination" means paying attention to the signals coming from honoring what my brain is telling me, and recognizing that it's not a negative signal from my brain trying to shame my body for relaxing, but rather it's my brain's way of gently guiding me towards a better task to do that will ultimately lead towards MORE relaxation if that makes any sense whatsoever
Love this, I am also similar.. I "procrastinate" with physical exercise, and also other things related to my health. But those are some of the most important things we can do to take care of ourselves. Thank you for your comment! 💛
When you give something 100% focus, sometimes that activity can only be sustained for a shorter period of time. Better quality work but can sometimes take longer or can’t be completed quickly
Amazing video Maisy!💛 This video def made me feel something, I actually teared up🤞🏻 Can you do an updated notion, MacBook and iphone tour? And possible more on digital minimalism? Those videos really inspires me and I find them super helpful!💛😀 Keep up🤞🏻
Thank you Maisy for posting this video. I can totally relate to what you have said here. Lately I have made so much demands on myself that by the time I am done working I am exhausted and need to sleep. I miss reading and playing guitar. These activities energize me. I will make it a point to resume them. Thank you for inspiring us.
Hi Maisy, this video really came at the perfect time! I'm curently going through a burnout and this topic is so reconizable. It's so important that we give ourselves the time to take a step back and take good care of ourselves. Thank you for the lovely video!
This video brought me peace; I really appreciated it. Last year, I adopted a dog as well (Sirius Black, lol), and my life has changed since then. At the moment, I’m stuck not knowing what to do with my life, but I’m trying to take it day by day, step by step. It’s been hard, but mindfulness has helped me so much. I have also seen your content about Ikigai and I’m trying to learn more about it because I really love it. By the way, I love your content; it’s so peaceful. Thank you 💗
this was really insightful and loved connecting with you on this one! i also focus a lot of my time stressing, overthinking, rotting, and feeling guilt instead of actually just completing my goals/tasks and it leaves me with a more cluttered mind. i've been trying to wake up early to have the morning for myself to enjoy my coffee and have longer walks with my dog. makes me feel like im starting the day productive. i also take breaks in between tasks too and makes me feel refreshed coming back to it. our minds are just as strong as our body, so taking care of both is so important. i love your advice on positive media and putting 100% into everything that you do too. it's all about being intentional :) love the chit chat style video, maisy! it's now time for me to get back to work lollll
Aww thank you Grace! So happy you resonated with my video! We are our worst critics, but we often forget to take a step back and acknowledge all that we've done. Hopefully our dogs can play together soon :)
HI Maisy, you feeling good ? Just want to talk about how your videos are helping me in a critical mental-health moment, helping me understand some aspects of life that I've been missing about this 32 years of my life to now. This journey of changing my life style and see thing for another perspective have been trully hard, but videos like yours make me belieave in this kind of goals for a cozy and health future. You're doing great and thanks for your content
To be honest, I’ve been watching you for 3 years, and I’ve enjoyed your content a lot! Mainly how your setup style is very aesthetic!, that, to be honest, I like
i hope i could get to see you guys taking a walk with your pet "Buko" and travel a lot with her. That would be amazing to watch! Still, i also love to watch your videos whatever you decided to vlog I still watched it. ♥♥♥
If you're feeling burned out and stressed working from home, consider switching to an office if you have the option, I know it sounds weird but I'm feeling so much better after I did that, I just couldn't separate work from private life and that was causing me so much stress
It's a crazy cycle! Sometimes, taking a step back from todo lists, productivity apps, all that, is what we need.. and to get back to the basics and addressing the root of why we're procrastinating in the first place. SO happy you enjoy the video!
I enjoyed this video ✨ It made me reflect on how I perceive “procrastination”. After watching your video, when I decided to check on social media for a break, I had your video in mind because it made me think that I should give my 100% to relax or do something that actually will put a smile on my face. - Thank you for this video! Keep up with the good content. I cannot wait to see the next one. Maybe about your daily/ weekly routine 😁💡
It's been several weeks of procrastinating routine ...😢 Maybe i do not unwind correctly as you said, and i agree: DONT BE ON YOUR PHONE WHILE WATCHING A MOVIE
I really needed this right now! Lately, I cannot concentrate on watching dramas and relaxing because I think of what else I should do instead. Then I can’t decide on what I should do. I love getting up early but I am more tired these days. I wish I had the same energy I had as a child :(
Omg I’m new watching UA-cam videos and then I met you or well your videos and wow it’s mind blowing due you just talked everything that I was looking in just in the half part of your video, I thank you so so much it’s good to know that there are a lot of same minded people in so many many ways wow ily already 🥹🫶💖✨
I'm waiting for your video✨✨ and also watch @mysweetchubs waiting for a art tutorial long videos and Yess!! I'm consuming mindful content from you as I can relate to you lot of times like being less productive
This video has been the most eye-opening one on procrastination for me. SO different from the other ones you find on this topic. It’s usually always based on efficiency and productivity tips. Your view on this has opened a completely new window for me and I’m excited to later reflect on the matter and make my unwinding sessions « productive » like you said. Thank you for always being so genuine and for sharing about this topic and showing us little bits of your life. 🫶🐶
I will definitely be journaling a ton after watching this. Thinking a lot and all. Sorry brain not working right now, just came from gym :D Always happy to watch a new video from you. All sorts videos. Give Buko some extra cuddles from me 💚
Hi! I am a 13 year old from India and I absolutely love watching your videos! Your workspace is aesthetic and cozy and exactly what I manifest for my 'future' workspace. I also love watching videos by @mysweetchubs. Your products also seem amazing! Thank you for motivating and inspiring me whenever I feel down!
years past i was a crazy jobber, in the sence that i worked 14 hours in a day.being not well at the last, i have discover that rest and amuse make too part of our equilibrism.....dont be the judge of yoursel.let do..sometime we need sleep but resist and keep our minds occupated.we are not machines for produce.when we sleep we wake up rested and in forrm and can do things quietly...when we confuse sleep with procrastination we refuse to sleep that is good for our healt and our body need..when you have ossessives thought, let go they without take cares till they end..do your best pls and stop to pretend.brava sometime take a day of complite distachment from internet and the phone.ciao maisy and buco
I just want say is take as much time as you need. Ultimately whether it is hoping for new products releases or new videos to come soon, ultimately, I would wish for you and your family to stay happy & healthy in all aspects of life. Your videos was something that I would watch for coziness and some form of anxiety and stress relief. I do really like your magsafe charger stand but unfortunately, the shipping fee to my home country is really expensive. Looking forward for your future videos when you're ready.
Thank you so much for having a video without a sponsor or product placement. It’s a refreshing change every so often. Buko is such a sweet boi! Congratulations.
I like your chatty videos, they give perspective into a lot of things. I recognize plenty of what you're saying about procrastination. I actually looked up the word for its origin. It comes from Latin, "pro" meaning "forward" and "crastinus" meaning "of tomorrow". In Danish we say "overhaul action" meaning we're skipping things we should be doing, we're in the overhaul lane. This society we live in now is so fast paced, everybody has expectations of us. We're constantly skipping things, because we don't have time for it, or perhaps I should say we don't make time for it. And that's when we miss out on milestones, experiences, FOMO and guilt arise due to that. We need to say stop, take 10 steps back and take a deep breath. We miss out on the changing of the seasons - not just with nature, but also ourselves - if this fast pace keeps up. Time to not just focus on the big things, but also the little things. They can be just as important as the big things, or even more 😊
LOVE how you said we're missing on the changing of the seasons, even OUR "seasons". Thank you for sharing this, and your comment & breakdown of the word "procrastination!" Very insightful and interesting. Slowly living is an art, and hopefully through mindful practices we can combat this fast paced society! Thank you for watching my videos & enjoying my chatty ones!!
The Last of Us (the first game) was one of the games that I played to unwind at the end of the day. The Last of Us pulled me through a lot of the dark times in my life that happened in the past. I don't play games that often anymore, but I really recommend The Last of Us. The meaning behind that game has always held a special candle in my life, and it's one of my favorite games of all time. Another game that I used to play is BioShock Infinite, but all of the BioShock games are amazing nonetheless.
I'm new to ur channel. I love listening to ur videos I'm also a matcha everything girl. I have 2 German shepherds love dogs😊 have a blessed day can't wait for ur next video❤
I like this type of video, and I'm curious about the books that appeared on the images, so maybe that can be a topic for a new video. I don't know 😅 books you recommend... Thanks for the video 💞
thank you! unfortunately im not sure where the cork board is from since i've had it since i was a child haha! i believe it was from just like... Michaels or something like that?
Yes really this video of yours means a lot to me atleast. I am going through such a difficult times in my life, which at last making me more procrastinate. Yes sometimes this procrastination really hurt a lot but there are many ways to come out from it. Sometimes life get tough but that it does not mean its coming to an end. So a new beginning, a new project and a new dream. Yes sometimes its become difficult to self control of your thoughts. But at last there are so much possibilities all around us which we cannot see.
I'm so happy that my video means a lot to you! You are not alone, we are our worst critics.. but luckily that means we have the power to make things better for ourselves. Wishing you well & love everything you said 💛
First thanks for adopt a Pet instead of buying sadly people who are to eager to buy a ''pure blood'' dog keep feeding and growing the dog farm bussines and lack emphatic owners who not spay/nutter and let them ''roam'' theirs as a result a ton of not pure puppys being trow at dumpsters streets or worst at boxes and bags tape seal for them to death. So you are doing something really good Thank you so much❤
I feel like you're stuck for ideas on making videos, your videos only revolve around topics: Cozy game with me, setting up a cozy desk, working with me, Design With Me. There's no new topic, 90% rotation angles only revolve around your desk, you can find newer topics. I don't want to be a long-time follower of you but just watch the same type of video topic over and over again which is very boring. However, I really like MySweetChubs' art works, I hope she will release Zen Flower Shop with a night version, so I can set my phone wallpaper for both day and night.
Maisey has shared other parts of her life, just check her older playlists. For many creators it’s like having a set for a tv series. The set remains the same but the audience returns weekly for the topic and feeling of the video. People appreciate consistency with the topics and cozy feelings. It’s okay to want more but it’s up to the creator if they choose to share more. Take care 😊
@@Fran-kc2gu She's really talented, but the video themes on youtube, tiktok and instagram are all recurring, I can describe the sequence of a typical video of her: The first shot is her walking to her desk , lower the table, make coffee or matcha milk, then place the phone on the charging dock on the table and start typing. all the videos show the same scene and action, which makes me feel bored.
@@jeriheggie I know, I'm just speaking my mind because I've been following you long enough, I still respect your decision, because you need to keep up with the trends of the times every day, your videos are very simple. , like dishes, we just have the same food every day which would be boring. And I just gave her more advice, and again I always supported and respected her decision.

Thank you for this video lifted me after tough week ❤
Of course! Thank you for watching, glad it is helpful :)
definitely considering making a vlog soon to share everyday life with Buko!
I thought Ace was your dog ! Good luck with Buko. I can tell already for what you post that you love him very much . He is a beautiful baby angel
If you're feeling burned out and stressed working from home, consider switching to an office if you have the option, I know it sounds weird but I'm feeling so much better after I did that, I just couldn't separate work from private life and that was causing me so much stress
Amazing video
I wish I had the same energy I had as a child :(
Omg I’m new watching UA-cam videos and then I met you or well your videos and wow it’s mind blowing due you just talked everything that I was looking in just in the half part of your video, I thank you so so much it’s good to know that there are a lot of same minded people in so many many ways wow ily already 🥹🫶💖✨
thank you so much for being here
I'm waiting for your video✨✨ and also watch @mysweetchubs waiting for a art tutorial long videos and Yess!!
I'm SO happy to hear that. Thank you for watching and for your sweet comment :)
I will definitely be journaling a ton after watching this. Thinking a lot and all. Sorry brain not working right now, just came from gym :D Always happy to watch a new video from you. All sorts videos. Give Buko some extra cuddles from me 💚
💛💛💛 Thank you so much, sent Buko your cuddles :)
So happy my videos help you when you need a lil motivation!
Thank you for sharing all of this! 🙏🏼💕
Thank you for watching!
years past i was a crazy jobber, in the sence that i worked 14 hours in a day.being not well at the last, i have discover that rest and amuse make too part of our equilibrism.....dont be the judge of yoursel.let do..sometime we need sleep but resist and keep our minds occupated.we are not machines for produce.when we sleep we wake up rested and in forrm and can do things quietly...when we confuse sleep with procrastination we refuse to sleep that is good for our healt and our body need..when you have ossessives thought, let go they without take cares till they end..do your best pls and stop to pretend.brava sometime take a day of complite distachment from internet and the phone.ciao maisy and buco
You are so lucky to realize your inner potential at this young age. I was not lucky as you. Keep going
Aww I appreciate it! Thank you so much for following my journey & for the support!
This is so recognizable 😮
Thank you so much for having a video without a sponsor or product placement. It’s a refreshing change every so often. Buko is such a sweet boi! Congratulations.
Thanks so much for tuning in! Buko says hi!
Thank you for watching my videos & enjoying my chatty ones!!
this is so real! it's okay if you post "raw" content, there's no need for perfection in your cozy community ❤
thank you maisy so much because I have ADHD and that is really hard for me to focus 🧘♂️ ❤❤
Ahhhh I feel so seen! 👏👏👏 I relate to this so much 💙
so happy to hear that! thank you for joining me :)
When will you be restocking the magsafe stands especially in colour blossom? I always tend to miss out on them 😭
Nowdays Shorts are a lot more addictive so i block all them off.
thank you maisy 💛
I like this type of video, and I'm curious about the books that appeared on the images, so maybe that can be a topic for a new video. I don't know 😅 books you recommend... Thanks for the video 💞
Just saw your desk setup! It’s so cute 🌱 where is the cork board above your desk from? I love how simple it is!
thank you! unfortunately im not sure where the cork board is from since i've had it since i was a child haha! i believe it was from just like... Michaels or something like that?
NEEDED THIS 😢
This video is detoxing 🙏🏾🖤
Thanks so much Nathan 💛 for always taking the time to watch my videos!
Poignant video Maisy, hanging in there!
So you are doing something really good Thank you so much❤
yes like your talking videos thhnk you Bless you😊
Missy posted yay ❤
Woaaaah! Very nice name - BUKO! Love from the PH! 🎉
yess!! 🥥
also hey buko! 🐾
❤
Does the charger stand charge any phone?
And does it charge just phones?
Relatableeeee ❤
thank you for your video
I feel like you're stuck for ideas on making videos, your videos only revolve around topics: Cozy game with me, setting up a cozy desk, working with me, Design With Me. There's no new topic, 90% rotation angles only revolve around your desk, you can find newer topics. I don't want to be a long-time follower of you but just watch the same type of video topic over and over again which is very boring. However, I really like MySweetChubs' art works, I hope she will release Zen Flower Shop with a night version, so I can set my phone wallpaper for both day and night.
Maybe because it is the stage that he is living and discovering and he wants to share it with all of us.
Yeah, I also would like more video about the growth of a business, what decision she made to went full entrepreneur and all that
Maisey has shared other parts of her life, just check her older playlists.
🙏🏼
rn I'm thinking about her, why's she not posting and she actually did lol 😂😂
Under 2 hours ⌛
