Welcome back Maisy! I’ve been supporting your channel and Etsy for years and will continue to do so. I’m very private as well, but I do love learning about new things and ideas just as passionately as you. Stay true to yourself.
I need to learn to make my own matcha drinks instead of buying it. Lol.

As another Asian American who's also in engineering (cloud), there's always people who don't take us seriously or look down on us, but I've learned over the years to focus on the great people around me and try to shut the others out.
I can't imagine the daily toll that hate comments and cyber bullies have, but we love your corner of the internet and hope to continue our support.
Thanks for what you do and stay cozy 🙏🏼😊

Hey take it easy. You know, I'm in cloud/data and it's not only Asians it affects.
People are just people, but Its difficult for some to understand though. As has always been the case good people are rare.
Many companies talk up the team, but everyone has their own agenda.
The bottom line is, you gotta stay away from negative energy as much as possible in a work situation and in life in general. 😊

A lot of people, including myself, have different interests. We were told from young age to stay focused and that we can only pick one thing and sacrifice the rest. By being so determined to blend your interests together and put your work out there, you’re helping us see the possibilities. Thank you for doing that.

The vibe of your videos has had such a positive impact on my life as I work through my own trauma. I also was one of two girls in my mechanical engineering program (thought I’d be safe being a tomboy / misogynistic pick me tbh) and ended up switching majors. Had a rude awakening when I started working too. I feel you and I’m so so glad you’re here making videos :’) 💕 In those moments where your brain starts lying to you, remember that I 100% promise you your work means a lot to so many of us, and it’s important and needed in this world! You’re inspiring 💕

You’ve definitely inspired me and encouraged me in videos before. I’ve gone through so much of what you described, you’re not alone, just let the bullying end internally and don’t judge yourself. Nothing external can touch you when you’re your own biggest fan! Being on the internet can make us into our own worst critic. Embrace every part of who you are and don’t let the lies dull your shine. Hi Maisy! I've been watching your videos for about a year...? now and your channel has grown so much in that short period of time. That alone shows how many people love watching your videos. I always find your videos very relaxing, cozy, and inspiring. There will always be people who bring negativity, and that's about them not about you. Just know that there are way more people who support and love your work (even if they never comment, I rarely comment on videos too). Thanks for putting yourself out there, being vulnerable, and sharing your journey with all of us. 💗And always take care of yourself and your mental health first!

I enjoyed watching this video, Maisy. It’s been so fun watching your journey and how you have grown and evolved. Your process and being open about it, but also keeping things to yourself as everything is not our business. Those things are precious and have no use to us other than for people to be nosey and create their narrative. But everything else you choose to share is so relatable, inspiring, and therapeutic.
I can see your skin getting tougher with all the toxicity in this journey. For every one of them, there is someone who genuinely loves your work. It may be part of the job, but it’s not something you have to tolerate. You’re grounded and have your sister and Tristan and your dad with you! All of you have given me the energy I crave! Also, I’m way too into matcha now! Haha.
    Thank you, Maisy 🙏🏾🖤

Not to be selfish… for me, you’ve had a very subtle yet lasting impact. About a year ago, I set out on an adventure to build my homelab (i’m also a cs person). After looking at all the different sff cases I fell in love with the one in your videos. Actually, that’s how i ran into your content. Although I couldn’t get my hands on that case and settled for something else, i decided to keep watching. I think your aesthetic and calm energy in the videos kept me around. After a year has passed and i’ve been watching your content every so often, i realized you’re the reason i started making my own matcha lattes. You’re also the inspiration to why i started working on my desk setup (making it more focused).
As someone who can relate to some of your experiences of anxiety and guilt, i appreciate the videos you have created. In a way, the juxtaposition of the chaos in your personal life vs the content you put out is very telling of your character and your ability to endure. You’ve got the support structure and the right people.
Thank you for the amazing content, and wish you the best! And we fans aren’t going anywhere so dw about us :)

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It takes a lot for people to put themselves out there but it helps so many people see the real life behind creators. I can resonate a lot with the imposter syndrome as a software engineer. There are so many people in so many different stages of their life doing similar things. One really needs to ground themselves in their skills, their areas they're working on, and their own enjoyment. I enjoy seeing all your "cozy vibes" as it reminds me to bring enjoyment to my work without it all being business. I can focus on how I bring ME into my own workplace but also mental workspace. Thank you so much.

Take everyone who bully you as a blessing. Because out of bullying there’s a breakthrough and outcome. Maybe without bullying you wouldn’t be the person you’re now. I did experience a lot of racism as well growing up Asian, maybe not so much on bullying but it bothers me a lot. I’m only extroverted when I’m interacting with other Asian.. Also without racism and sexism maybe you wouldn’t be an entrepreneur today, so look at bullying as an opportunity .

As a half asian I didn't have friends at my first secondary school, and got bullied. Moved to a selective private school and still didn't have any friends for the first two years. Started realising there must be something about me, not just the school. Maybe I just wasn't confident enough to fit in with either the cool or normal crowds, or asian enough for the full-asian crowd. Luckily in 6th form someone from the asian crowd took an interest in me, invited me to sit with them at lunch and my life improved immeasurably. A lot of the conversation was in Korean, but there were others in the group who didn't speak Korean too and so we weren't completely left out 🙂🙂

Hello Maisy: Congratulations on your success and for growing a studio with your family. I am glad that I found your channel and find your videos very enjoyable. I believe that you are genuine. I also notice that you are very savvy at building a lifestyle brand. However, there is part of me that is concerned that the subtlety of how you show things and talk about things can definitely make people feel that if they don't spend $65 on a phone stand or $1,300 on a desk that you clearly must have received for free, that they can't achieve the cozy productive life that you have. I would appreciate it if you could also speak to the more approachable ways to achieve those goals without buying buying buying. It's a lot of pressure to put on your fellow 20-somethings for them to think that they have buy what you have been given (or possibly bought yourself sometimes) to have an aesthetic, worthwhile, and lovely life. Maybe even share what percent of the items in a video you paid for vs. given. Transparency would go a long way for total authenticity. Just some food for thought.

What you’re saying really resonates with me. I feel like my brain also needs the different stimulus, but I’m not always able to satisfy it, probably because of lack of planning. Watching you talk about your life and journey is very inspiring and helpful because before I didn’t have anyone I could learn from, and I want to learn from you and bring those life tools into my own life.
I almost see you as a mentor! Having ADHD and being on my own (family/parents wise) makes it hard for me to build a life that works for my brain and that is good for my mental health. No one gave me the tools and I didn’t know how to human. But first your helped me hugely with my office space at home, which was incredibly important for my mental health as I went freelance and started working only from home, and now with life in general.
When the imposter syndrome strikes again, remind it that your videos are truly helpful and inspiring to people like me.

I'm so sorry that you have experienced so much racism and hatred. There are so many miserable people out there who are just jealous of your accomplishments and your life. Even though I know it's hard, please don't let them stop you from doing the amazing things you've been doing. You deserve all of the success that comes your way because you worked hard for it.

I don't say much but I watch your videos all of the time because they're so calming. I also love the relationship you have and Tristan have with your sister. It's very beautiful.
I would love to hear your piano compositions. Piano is something I always wanted to learn but never did. So, I'm definitely looking forward to that.
You're an awesome young lady who is a great role model.

Maissyy huhu haters hating on you is just living proof that you've made it (at least from my perspective). You're amazing and my inspiration TT I really gravitate towards the "wanting to create ideas" and not just code or design, i felt that TT Thanks so much for your videoss, keep it up!

Been a huge fan of the channel for a year now. Your channel always calms me. Appreciate you and your family videos. Everyone brings something unique to the table. There will always be those who try to put you down, but honestly a lot of them are jealous… Grammatically and articulately in the way those who write hater comments obviously have no intellect or class. You will always rise above. Keep doing the videos. You are so awesome!!!! 🤘😎

Maisy, your videos are amazing, the editing, themes, colors, all of it! Haters project their own insecurities onto people that are accomplishing their own goals. It takes a strong person to deal with such hate, and that strong person is you! Your videos have inspired me to learn coding and more about tech. I'm excited to support more of and see the growth of your channel, business, and self-love journey!
